A cafe where you can enjoy truly delicious French-style cakes.
A couple who met while studying at a confectionery school in Taiwan started Anti-Diet Pattiserie, a pre-order shop selling cream puffs, tarts, and cookies. The taste was well received, and after several years, they opened this Cafe En Couple, a small cake café next to their workshop.
It is run by two couples. The interior of the cafe, where you take off your shoes, is homey.
The cakes are very sophisticated, high quality and wonderfully flavored. Soft cream, thin and crisp tarts, red wine-scented seasonal American cherries, and flavorful coffee ganache. The combination of textures is exquisite. Every cake is delicious.
They always have one new item every week. Handmade quiche and kombucha are also available.

本当に美味しいフランス風ケーキがいただけるカフェ。
台湾への製菓学校留学中に出会ったカップルが、シュークリームやタルト、クッキーの予約販売店 Anti-Diet Pattiserie をスタート。その味は評判を呼び、数年を経て、工房の横にこの小さなケーキカフェ「Cafe En Couple」をオープンしました。
2組のカップルが運営しています。靴を脱いで上がる店内はアットホーム。
ケーキはとても洗練されていて、上質で素晴らしい味わい。柔らかいクリーム、薄くてさっくりしたタルト、赤ワイン香る季節のアメリカンチェリー、風味豊かなコーヒーガナッシュなど。食感の組み合わせも絶妙。どのケーキをいただいても美味しい。
毎週必ず1品は新作を出しているそう。手作りのキッシュやコンブチャもあります。

台湾とシンガポールでお菓子を学んだパティスリーシェフ、Arthur。オースティンのベイキングスタジオで作るシュー、タルト、クッキーは素材にこだわり、シンプルでおいしくて人気。
私も、ちょっとしたティータイム用に常備しておきたくて、これまで何度もクッキーをオーダーしています。クーベルチュールのチョコやマルドンの塩、フランス産バターを使ったクッキーはサクサクで軽くやさしい味。飽きずにいつでも食べたい味。
今回、クリスマスにぴったりのシューツリーケーキとクッキーBOXが数量限定で登場。
シューツリーは土台にチョコシフォンを使ってあって、クリームでシューをつけているので、飴を使わず軽くいただけます。いろいろな味のシュークリームをいただけて楽しい。
クッキーボックスはご自宅用にお試しセットがあるのもいいですね。

「There’s no Diet in Dessert Dictionary」.
One bakery chef learned pastry in Taiwan and Singapore started his Artisan pastry studio with big passion. He wants to deliver desserts that make people happy feeling. It’s special desserts.
My friend sent me these 4 beautiful Tarts.
I surprised the texture and amazing taste.
About the Blueberry Tart, pastry cream and blueberry jam are thick and smooth. Tart skin is crunchy. If the cream is watery, the tart will lose its crispness. So this balance of texture is wonderful.
Salted caramel chocolate Tart is made by 70%cacao Callebaut chocolate. For salted caramel, they use Maldon Sea Salt. It’s rich and really delicious !
I immediately contacted the founder Mr. Arthur to learn more about this dessert.
One of his signature menu is Choux (Cream puff).
Cream puff is made from high quality ingredients. Not too sweet. It’s very light. So we can eat 2-3pc all at once. I like Earl Grey so much. The fruit cream puff also contains fresh fruit inside. There is also durian Cream Puff!

友人から美しいタルトをいただいて、食べてみるとそのおいしさと食感に感動。クリームがとろとろのブルーベリータルトは、中が柔らかいのにタルト生地はサクサク。
カレボー70%カカオのビターで濃厚なチョコレートに、しっかりとした塩気のキャラメルが絶妙のチョコタルト。アールグレイのしっかりした風味のクリームに、フレッシュなライチがたっぷり。
聞くと、シェフのArthur氏は、シンガポールと台湾のベーカリーと製菓学校でお菓子を学び、人々を幸せにする特別なお菓子を作りたいと独立。お菓子工房を立ち上げたばかりとのこと。
素材にもこだわり、すべて手作り。シグネイチャーのひとつがシュークリームとのことで、翌日すぐに届けてくれました。
程よい甘さでかなり軽くいただけるシュークリーム。中のクリームの量が多すぎないので、あっという間に2、3個は食べてしまいます。フルーツものは、クリームパティシエールにフレッシュフルーツも入っています。チョコや抹茶やアールグレイやコーヒーはしっかりとした風味と味わいが感じられます。
他にドリアンもあり、種類をミックスしてオーダーできるとのこと。ミニタルトもあります。
タルト4個セットが絶対おすすめですが、シュークリームもマストオーダー。この品質にしては安すぎるので、今後値上げがあるのではないか？と思ったりします。
プレーンのオーソドックスなシュークリームも、オーダーがあれば製造可能とのこと。
