Stayed at the Renaissance Johor Bahru for the first time in about a year. The hotel is always cozy and truly relaxing.
This time my room was upgraded to a suite.
This suite, with a bathtub next to the window, the end of room number 02, is the best!
For breakfast, the buffet restaurant is very good with a large variety of items, but this time I had a leisurely breakfast at the Club Lounge. The steak & eggs and pancakes from the a la carte menu, which you can order, were both perfectly delicious. The hotel is always full of hearty hospitality.

この、窓の横にバスタブがある、部屋番号末尾02のスイートルームが最高！
朝食は、ビュッフェレストランも品数が多く、とてもよいですが、今回はクラブラウンジでゆっくりいただきました。オーダーできるアラカルトメニューの、ステーキ&エッグ、パンケーキ、どちらも完璧においしかったです。いつでもハートフルなおもてなしを感じるホテル。

Concorde Hotel has an excellent location in the center of KL. I was invited by a friend to this restaurant for the first time because they have started a hot pot buffet on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.
The hot pot soup is Malaysian style. You can choose two from five types: the signature curry, tom yum, tomato, chicken, and kimchi. I definitely recommend the curry and chicken soup. A wide variety of dipping sauces are available for a change of flavor.
In addition, the restaurant offers freshly fried tempura and karaage, famous teppanyaki, and a full lineup of desserts. You can spend a pleasant time with your family, friends, or colleagues.

Last night I attended the HENDRICK's GIN event at The RC Bar at the Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur. Southeast Asian brand ambassador Charmaine Thio and her actor friend were on hand to talk about the history of gin with quotes from literary works and to sample cocktails from the works.
The guests enjoyed three cocktails: a Gin Tonic, Martinez, and a Gin Basil Smash, while listening to quotes from gin-loving authors such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Dorothy Parker.
Hendrick's Gin is a craft gin from Scotland with a unique flavor that combines the usual botanicals (juniper berries, etc.) with the essence of rose petals and cucumber. Created in 1999, it has been highly acclaimed around the world for its unique aroma and fine taste.
The RC Bar is currently hosting a nightly happy hour from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with 1 for 1 Hendrick's Gin cocktails.
After this event, we enjoyed a buffet dinner with Mexican highlights.

Newly opened just over a year ago, the Imperial Lexis KL is a 53-story glass tower in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, a 5-star urban resort hotel with 275 rooms, all with private pools.
The seafood buffet, available only on Fridays and Saturdays, is excellent in selection, quality, and taste.
The menu includes lobster, snow crab, raw oysters, abalone, sashimi, and of course, over 100 different types of seafood and other dishes. Grilled slipper lobster and white corn, curried fish heads and squid, chili crab, beef Wellington, lamb chops, and more gorgeous dishes than you can eat. The satay meat is big and juicy, and the drinks corner even has three kinds of kombucha and whole coconut juice.
Guests who have the buffet are allowed to enter the Sky Deck, which is normally only open to guests of the hotel. This is another wonderful experience that can only be had here!The beautiful unobstructed twin tower view. The floor is also made of glass, which is amazing! I could see the ground from the 51st floor, which made my feet tingle.
The price of less than RM200 include this experience is a really good value. I highly recommend it!

The highlight is the whole steamed fish with 5 different flavors. There are also raw oysters and other seafood-on-ice, roast chicken, delicious Chinese and Malay dishes, and Indian dishes, and at RM79nett per person, it is very good value.
I especially like the Chinese dishes here such as Steamed Fish with Bean Sauce, Fried Rice, Kai Lan and Fish Cake.
The RM20 price is limited to two people per group, and the line seems to start forming around 5:00 pm.

20 daily (walk-in guests) can enjoy the buffet for RM20 only!
All other guests can also enjoy Buy 1 Free 1 ! A very special buffet is now being offered at a very reasonable price.
The highlight is the whole steamed fish with 5 different flavors. There are also raw oysters and other seafood-on-ice, roast chicken, delicious Chinese and Malay dishes, and Indian dishes, and at RM79nett per person, it is very good value.
I especially like the Chinese dishes here such as Steamed Fish with Bean Sauce, Fried Rice, Kai Lan and Fish Cake.
The RM20 price is limited to two people per group, and the line seems to start forming around 5:00 pm.
After dinner, enjoy a drink at the lovely bar "At 137". There is a hidden staircase in the back of the lounge next to the reception.

I attended the Aussie Beef & Lamb collaborative dining event at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION KL.
Chef Koji Fukuda is currently the Executive Chef at a 5-star hotel in Tokyo. He has lived in Australia and New Zealand for 7 years, and as a Lambassador, he presented a feast of Japanese cuisine and Aussie lamb and beef. The Japanese dishes, which included plenty of Aussie lamb and beef, were nostalgic yet new to me, such as lamb miso Onigiri and Genghis Khan yakisoba noodles.
You can enjoy these tastes at the hotel’s buffet and course dinners until May 25.

パークロイヤルコレクションKLで行われた、オージービーフ&ラムのコラボダイニングイベントに出席しました。
現在東京の5つ星ホテルで総料理長を務めている福田浩二シェフ。オーストラリアとニュージーランドに7年住んだことがあり、ラムバサダー(Lamb + ambassador )として、 和食とオージーラムとビーフの饗宴を披露してくれました。ふんだんにオージーラムとビーフを取り入れた和食は、ラム味噌おにぎりやジンギスカン焼きそばなど、懐かしい中にも新しさのある料理たち。
5月25日まで、ホテルのビュッフェやコースディナーでこれらの味が楽しめます。

A sumptuous, meat- and veggie-packed grilled Middle Eastern plate with all-you-can-eat appetizers, numerous dips and ice cream. We can enjoy it in the comfort of Hotel Stripes' lovely European-style restaurant!
The Middle Eastern BBQ semi-buffet dinner by Persian guest chef: Hossein Karimi is all authentic and very tasty. The lamb kebab is simple and brings out the best of the ingredients, while the chicken barbecue, sausages, and savory vegetables are plentiful. Hummus and eggplant dip and bread and an assortment of pickles make for the most CHILL weekend dinner!
After dinner, I recommend going upstairs and enjoying the hotel bar by the pool as well!
