A huge prefab suddenly appeared next to Austin Lake. The first restaurant there is this Asian Smokehouse Restaurant.
It is a sister restaurant of Project Smoked @project_smoked, an authentic American-style smokehouse. The menu features long, slow-smoked meats and creative Asian-style dishes. The restaurant is casual and enjoyable, with a selection of specialty beers and cocktails.
I love fusion cuisine that makes the most of simple ingredients and the chef's skill, so when I heard about the opening of this restaurant, I immediately put it on my list of "must-visit" restaurants.
The menu was full of creative and delicious dishes such as smoked meat served with three different sauces, Claypot Pork Rice, Mizuna salad with refreshing ponzu sauce, and Kailan with smoked bacon.
Owner Bino, who is still in his 20s, is making great strides by opening more and more new restaurants. I look forward to visiting his restaurants in the future.

オースティンレイクの横に突如現れた巨大なプレハブ。そこの1店舗目がこのアジアンスモークハウスレストランです。
本場アメリカ式のスモークハウス「Project Smoked」の姉妹店。長時間じっくりとスモークしたお肉とクリエイティブなアジアンテイストな料理。こだわりのビールやカクテルもあり、カジュアルに楽しめるお店。
私はこういう素材を活かしたシンプル、かつシェフのスキルを感じるヒュージョン料理が大好きなので、この店のオープンを知ってすぐに「行きたい店候補」に入れました。
3種のソースでいただくスモークミート、豚肉の土鍋ご飯、さっぱりポン酢の水菜サラダやスモークベーコンと合わせたカイランなど、独創的で美味しいメニューがたくさんありました。
まだ20代のオーナーBinoは、どんどん新しいレストランをオープンさせて大躍進中。これからも彼のお店に伺うのが楽しみです。

Now, this is my most favorite cafe in JB!
Y space is a beautifully renovated 120 year old mansion . It consists of an event space, a select store, and a café, and this café, "The Three," recently opened on the upper floor.
The red carpet and timeless wooden frames, the classic atmosphere, the greenery seen through the windows, and the tastefully decorated artwork by a Johor artist, all add to the charm of the space. The space is fascinating at first, but the drinks are also wonderful.
The three different coffee combos from the same coffee beans: NOVA Combo, Nicole with delicate jasmine tea milk and espresso, and Dirty Coffee Classic with its deep flavor, are all very delicious and beautiful. The attention to detail is evident in everything from the snacks to the lemon grass jelly.
The mille crepes and bagels are also excellent. Everything is delicate and gentle, in harmony with the relaxing space, and it has become my favorite place.

現在、JBで私の最も好きなカフェはここです！
築120年の邸宅を改装した美しいY space 。イベントスペースとセレクトショップとカフェで構成されていますが、このカフェ「The Three」は最近、上階にオープンしました。
赤い絨毯に時代を感じる木枠、クラシックな雰囲気と窓から見える緑、品よく飾られたジョホール出身のアーティストによるアート。空間にまず魅了されますが、こだわりのドリンクがまた素晴らしい。
同じコーヒー豆から味わいの異なる3種のコーヒーコンボ: NOVA Combo、繊細なジャスミンティーミルクとエスプレッソを合わせるNicole、深い味わいのDirty Coffee Classic、どれもとてもおいしく美しく、お口直しのスナックやレモングラスジェリーまで細かいところにも気を使っています。
ミルクレープやベーグルも絶品。全てが繊細で優しく、ゆったりとした空間と調和していて、大好きな場所になりました。

Wan Li, a premium Cantonese restaurant located in the Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel, is well known for its high quality no-pork dim sum.
The a la carte dim sum was even better, with constantly updated menus and recipes.
The Shrimp and Chicken Xiu mai with Salted Egg is not only creative and delicious, but also pretty to look at. The xiaolongbao is also deep and rich, and the overall texture of the plump shrimp and chicken is very nice.
Because it is a restaurant in a hotel, this restaurant is probably also the most attractive because of its elegant and relaxing space.

On Monday, two weeks after Uncle Roger's Fried Rice Shop opened, I went first thing in the morning, just in time for the 10:00 am opening.
As it turns out, it was very good! It was well seasoned, the rice was cooked well, flavorful and wok hei, and a little spicy and deep taste.
It is not Chinese fried rice, but rather the best Malaysian Chinese -style fried rice!
The Mala Shrimp Oil on the table was so good that if they sold it in bottles, I would have definitely bought some to take home.

In fact, before going there, I had heard both sides of the reputation, "very good" and "ordinary and nothing special," and since the menu was pretty narrowed down, with only three standard fried rice dishes, some toppings, and sides, I did not have high expectations for the taste.
However, I was eager to try it again.
This time, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated, and our fried rice was served an hour after we ordered. 50-60 seats, very packed, but 1-2 servers. It took us 2 hours from the time we got there to the time we left, so I would recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get there.

アンクルロジャーのフライドライスショップがオープンして2週間後の月曜日、朝1番、10時の開店に合わせて行きました。
結論から言うと、とてもおいしかった！しっかり味がついていて、ご飯はパラパラ、風味豊かでwok hei (中華鍋の調理で最高の味や香りそ引き出していること)で、少しピリ辛で奥深い味。中華系のチャーハンというより、まさにマレーシア風の最高のフライドライス！
テーブルに置かれたマーラーシュリンプオイルがものすごく美味しくて、瓶で売っていたら絶対に買って帰りたい味でした。

実際、行く前は、「とても美味しい」「普通の味で特別ではない」と、両極端の評判を聞いていたし、メニューもかなり絞られていて、スタンダードなフライドライス3種といくつかのトッピング、サイドメニューがあるだけなので、味に期待はしていませんでした。
ですがまた食べたくなるような味でした。
今回、約30分待って着席し、オーダーしてから1時間後にフライドライスがサーブされました。50-60席あって超満員ですが、サーバーは1-2名。店についてから出るまでに2時間かかったので、時間に余裕を持って来店するのをおすすめします。

The Mala Shrimp Oil on the table was so good that if they sold it in bottles, I would have definitely bought some to take home.

In fact, before going there, I had heard both sides of the reputation, "very good" and "ordinary and nothing special," and since the menu was pretty narrowed down, with only three standard fried rice dishes, some toppings, and sides, I did not have high expectations for the taste.
However, I was eager to try it again.
This time, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated, and our fried rice was served an hour after we ordered. 50-60 seats, very packed, but 1-2 servers. It took us 2 hours from the time we got there to the time we left, so I would recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get there.

アンクルロジャーのフライドライスショップがオープンして2週間後の月曜日、朝1番、10時の開店に合わせて行きました。
結論から言うと、とてもおいしかった！しっかり味がついていて、ご飯はパラパラ、風味豊かでwok hei (中華鍋の調理で最高の味や香りを引き出していること)で、少しピリ辛で奥深い味。中華系のチャーハンというより、まさにマレーシア風の最高のフライドライス！
テーブルに置かれたマーラーシュリンプオイルがものすごく美味しくて、瓶で売っていたら絶対に買って帰りたい味でした。

実際、行く前は、「とても美味しい」「普通の味で特別ではない」と、両極端の評判を聞いていたし、メニューもかなり絞られていて、スタンダードなフライドライス3種といくつかのトッピング、サイドメニューがあるだけなので、味に期待はしていませんでした。
ですがまた食べたくなるような味でした。
今回、約30分待って着席し、オーダーしてから1時間後にフライドライスがサーブされました。50-60席あって超満員ですが、サーバーは1-2名。店についてから出るまでに2時間かかったので、時間に余裕を持って来店するのをおすすめします。

When I heard that Park Hyatt Tokyo's Executive Pastry Chef Julien Perrinet and Grand Hyatt KL's Chef Low Kin Kang were collaborating, I Must Go !
The theme of this afternoon tea is the blooming gardens of the Grand Hyatt.
It was so beautiful, delicious, fulfilling and wonderful.
THIRTY8 boasts a dynamic panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur as the backdrop for a menu that incorporates sustainability and locally sourced ingredients.
The savory dishes are like a course lunch, including oriental steamed fish, deep-fried dishes, and the exquisite white corn steamed egg custard. The 13 items are a perfect combination of the best, including delicate Japanese feeling cakes and ice cream to finish. Drinks are refill free, so you can get a very good value for your money.
I went on a weekday during lunch time and it was extremely crowded.
Highly recommended.

平日ランチの時間に行きましたが、ものすごく混んでいました。とてもオススメです。
