Small space but Cozy cafe.
Miri has a beautiful, walkable, green path leading all the way from the city centre, where the market is located, so I walked to hotel. (the approximately 3 km, it took 30-40minutes.)
This café was about 10 minutes from the hotel. We took a break on the way.
Coffee and milkshakes and a wide selection of waffles. Fried chicken and other snacks were also available.
A café that would be nice to have in the neighbourhood. Coffee is reasonably priced at around RM6-10.

小さいおしゃれなカフェ。ミリは、市場がある市街地から、歩きやすく美しい緑が多い道がずっと続いているので、ホテルまでの約3Kmを30-40分かけて歩きました。
ここはホテルから10分くらいの場所にあったカフェ。途中で休憩。
コーヒーとミルクシェーク、ワッフルの品揃えが豊富。フライドチキンなどの軽食もありました。
近所にあったら嬉しい感じのカフェ。コーヒーはRM6-10くらいでリーズナブル。

こだわりのコーヒーとケーキを提供しています。
オープン後1ヶ月余りですが、すでにケーキはおいしいと評判。全てが甘さ控えめで、食感も良く、良い素材を使用していて、日本人好みの味だと思います。
みんなが大絶賛するのはブラックラムレーズンダークチョコレートタルト。
ラムの具合とチョコレートのビター具合が絶妙。
ピスタチオ好きには、たっぷりのピスタチオにラズベリーの酸味が良いタルトを。シフォンケーキはかなり甘さ控えめでふわふわです。隠れた名物はキャロットケーキ！

Nordic Minimalist Cafe’s New Menu from October 2022!
It has a reputation for good coffee and homemade bagels, but the food here is very creative and more than just a café.
New to the menu from October are three new weekday-only rice bowls. I recommend the salmon mentaiko rice bowl with plenty of salmon.
Garlic Lemon Chicken Quesadilla, Garlic Parmesan Baked Chicken Wings and Kimchi and Cheese Grilled Sandwich with Tomato Soup. These three are my first choice. They were very tasty.
For dessert, the weekend-only lemon curd tart and the banana cake from the regular menu are big enough to be shared by 3-4 people.

アダハイツにある真っ白なミニマリストカフェ。おいしいコーヒーや自家製のベーグルなどに定評がありますが、ここの料理はとてもクリエイティブで、カフェ以上のクオリティ。
10月からの新メニューには、平日限定の丼メニューが3種登場。たっぷりのサーモンが入ったサーモン明太子丼がオススメです。
ガーリックレモンチキンケサディーヤ、ガーリックパルメザン味のベイクドチキンウイング、キムチとチーズのグリルサンドウィッチ、トマトスープ添え。この3種は私のイチオシです。とてもおいしかった。
デザートでは、週末限定のレモンカードタルトとレギュラーメニューのバナナケーキは、3-4人でシェアできるほどのビッグボリューム。

The gorgeous huge restaurant. Food selection is many.

このカフェは、1963年創業のカリフォルニアのブランドです。1997年にマレーシアで最初の店舗（KLプラザ）をオープンしてから、25年後の現在では、マレーシア全土で127店舗を展開しています。
JBの最初の店舗はシティスクエアです。1999年にオープンして以来、現在も店舗は存続しています。
今回、25周年記念イベントに参加してきました。クイズがあったりと、和やかで楽しいイベントでした。
新メニュー（10月4日スタート！）を試食しましたが、25周年を記念したグッズやフードのテーマカラーはパープル。これはロゴの色でもあり、新しいストローの色でもあります。(柔らかくなってしまう紙のストローから、食品由来のしっかりとしたストローに変わりました。)
サツマイモ、ヤムイモ、ココナッツを使った紫色の食べ物は優しい甘さで美味しいです。
そして、新しいドリンクには、かぼちゃのフレーバーがいろいろ。
パープルパスポートのスタンプを集めると、商品が抽選で当たるキャンペーン実施中。

朝食ビュッフェに行ってきました。
St. Giles ( セントジャイルス)Southkey は、ミッドバレーサウスキーと併設している4つ星ホテル。
モールの上にあることから、とても便利。(G階でモールの北側と連絡通路あり。)屋上プールからはJBが全て一望できます。
ビュッフェ朝食は、6階にあるオールデイダイニングのコーズウェイカフェにて。
落ち着く明るい素敵な空間、フレンドリーでホスピタリティあふれるスタッフ。
約1200円のビュッフェとしては十分な品揃えで、おいしいものもたくさんありました。
ちょっとした朝のミーティングなどにも最適な場所。
朝10時前は、モールの駐車場で開いている入り口NO5のみ。ホテルロビーへの駐車を打診してもよいかも。

Simple and cozy Cafe Bistrot at New Shop lot of Horizon Hills.
What kinds of food do they serve?
The dishes mixed Malay, French, Japan, Korea, Italian etc. No style is their style.
But promise to serve very good quality foods.
“Habitat” means “Place of Origin”.
They use local ingredients, cook them nicely.
I had 3 kinds of dishes. All very very tasty.
Especially, Chicken all’ Arrabbiata is perfect texture, spicy level, and taste. I want to eat it every week.
5 kinds of Lunch set RM25( Main + Drink) is very affordable. Atmosphere is comfortable.

ホライズンヒルズの新しいショップロット(Firepitzのすぐ近く)に、シンプルで居心地の良いカフェビストロがオープンしました。
何料理かというと、スタイルがないのがこの店のスタイル。
マレー、フランス、日本、韓国、イタリア料理などなど、さまざまな料理を取り入れていますが、どれも非常に質の高い料理ということは間違いがありません。
「Habitat」とは「原産地」という意味。
地元の食材や自家製ハーブを使い、美味しく調理してくれています。
一見普通に見えるこの3種類の料理は、全て洗練されておいしかった。とくにチキンアラビアータリングイネは、食感、辛さ、味、どれをとってもパーフェクト。毎週でも食べたくなる味です。クロックマダムの韓国風は、とろけるチーズとキムチのコンビがいい感じ。お茶漬けは出汁が本格的でした。
5種類のランチセットRM25(メイン＋ドリンク)はとてもお得。雰囲気もよく、居心地がよいお店。

Let’s say. In my personal opinion, this Saturday Buffet is the best buffet at the Grand Paragon Hotel in the last 3 years. Not only is it an attractive menu line-up, but it also tasted delicious. Especially The Nyonya laksa is superb!
From September, Grand Paragon Hotel will start Saturday Dinner Buffet featuring BBQ and International cuisine.
And Roasted Crusty Lamb Leg, Peking Duck, Shell Out Seafood, Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, Salmon Piccata, Vegetanle Lasagna, more and more.

個人的な感想ですが、今回のサタデーブッフェは、過去3年間のグランドパラゴンホテルのブッフェの中で一番良かったです。メニューのラインナップが魅力的だっただけでなく、味も美味しいものがたくさんありました。特にニョニャラクサは絶品！
グランドパラゴンホテルでは、9月からサタデーディナーブッフェとして、バーベキューとインターナショナル料理を提供する予定です。
ラムレッグのロースト、北京ダック、シーフードのシェルアウト、ソフトシェルクラブのディープフライ、サーモンピカタなどなど...。
きっとお気に入りの一品が見つかるはずです。

When I open the hidden vending machine Door and go up the stairs, I surprised to find a large, Instagrammable space!
There are both a nice café and a Lucky Cat concept bar.
From the outside I didn't realise how big the place was!
I was invited to a private event and attended from around 10pm.
SONY cameras were lent out, cosplay models posed for photos, we had delicious food and cocktails, and finally a silent disco with headphones.
On the terrace of the restaurant, they also had cats that lived there during the lockdown and had a baby.
The homemade mooncakes and other souvenirs are very nice and looks tasty.
It was great to see some friends and I felt comfortable with the heart-warming hospitality of the owners and their staff.
The name of the place, Merah, means 'red' in Malay and I wore red clothes and shoes in Merah respect fashion.
The name of the restaurant has a meaning: Multidisciplanry, Engaging, Resourceful, Ambitious, Hearty.
The space is stylish, a bit retro, warm and can be used in many ways, so I would like to drop by again for a meal or a drink.

自動販売機の隠れドアを開けて上がると、instagramable な大きなスペース。落ち着ける雰囲気の良いカフェも、招き猫コンセプトバーもあって驚きました。外から見た限りではこんな広いお店だとは思いませんでした！
プライベートイベントに招待いただき、夜10時ごろから参加しました。
SONYのカメラが貸し出され、コスプレモデルにポーズを取ってもらって撮影したり、おいしい食事やカクテルをいただいたり、最後はヘッドフォンをつけてのサイレントディスコ。
お店のテラスでは、ロックダウン中に住み着いて子供を産んだという猫も飼っていました。
自家製の月餅などのお土産もとってもステキで美味しそう。
何人かの友人にも会えて嬉しかったし、オーナー夫妻とスタッフによるハートウォーミングなおもてなしに居心地が良かったです。
店名のMerahはマレー語で「赤」。Merahリスペクトファッションで赤い服と靴で行きました。店名には意味があって、「Multidisciplanry, Engaging, Resourceful, Ambitious, Hearty」とのこと。
おしゃれでちょっとレトロで温かみがあり、いろいろな使い方が出来そうなスペースなので、またご飯やお酒を飲みに寄りたいです。
