I stayed here for one night after a trip abroad. It’s close to the airport and offers a shuttle bus service. It’s a minimalist, simple boutique hotel with plenty of communal spaces—including a gym, kitchen, playroom and laundry facilities—making it suitable for longer stays. There’s a convenience store within the hotel, and the surrounding area boasts local restaurants and fast-food outlets, allowing you to soak up the authentic atmosphere of suburban Malaysia.
Whilst airport hotels often have cramped rooms, this one is simple yet spacious. It is also very clean. It adopts an eco-friendly approach, with guests fetching water from a dispenser in the corridor. You can enjoy the breakfast buffet for RM15 and a lunch set for RM12.90 at very reasonable prices.

I attended the opening ceremony and a buffet lunch at the dining restaurant.
This relaunch marks the full renovation of all 448 rooms. It is not merely a refurbishment, but a “strategic evolution” designed to meet business demands. From the convenience of direct access to the mall to functional guest rooms and cashless payment options, everything has been optimized for modern urban stays, making it a hotel that truly serves as a hub connecting guests to the city.
The buffet lunch was delicious, and I was thrilled to win a stay at Cititel Express in Ipoh (part of the same CHM Hotels Group) in the lucky draw.

Every dish is incredibly delicious, from roast lamb served with chimichurri sauce and mustard to Nyonya-style curry chicken and Chinese-style steamed fish. The desserts are beautifully presented as well, making this a buffet you can truly enjoy from start to finish.

This brand-new five-star hotel just opened in August. It was my first visit, and I absolutely loved it. Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the hotel extensively uses natural materials like wood, stone, and paper throughout, creating an atmosphere of a tranquil retreat in the city.
The buffet prioritizes quality over quantity. Alongside the signature chili crab, there were many freshly prepared dishes like pulled beef bao and Indian dosas. The desserts are exceptionally delicious compared to other hotels! The homemade ice cream, baked apple, and strawberry cream are must-tries! Highly recommended for those seeking a high-quality buffet experience.

Every year around this time, they make donations to hospitals and orphanages. This year marks their 40th anniversary since opening. The cumulative amount donated so far is a staggering 6 million ringgit!
The buffet offers an extensive selection. The standout is the Surf and Turf Wellington. This dish features a roast of Australian beef tenderloin layered with juicy lobster mousse, wrapped in golden puff pastry, and finished with a Sangiovese wine sauce. It's a truly magnificent creation.

毎年この時期に
病院や孤児院などへの寄付を重ね、開業から今年で40年。これまでの累計で寄付した額は6ミリオンリンギ(約2億円)というから驚きです。
ビュッフェは、たくさんの品揃え。イチオシはサーフ・アンド・ターフ「ウェリントン」。オーストラリア産牛ヒレ肉のローストに、ジューシーなロブスターのムースを重ね、黄金色のパイ生地で包み、サンジョベーゼワインのソースで仕上げた一品。素晴らしい仕上がりです。
