Towzen とうぜん @ Bukit Damansara, KL
Vegan, Vegetarian, No Alcohol
Japan's oldest vegan ramen restaurant, which has been in operation for 20 years, arrived in Malaysia in January 2024. Towzen, which originated in Kyoto, is completely vegetarian and free of garlic, chives, rakkyo, leeks, onions, and chives.
Its specialty is ramen noodles based on walnut milk. With its refined and delicious taste, the restaurant is so popular that customers have to wait in line to get in. There is a one-hour time limit for peak meal times.
A vegetarian friend of mine liked it so much that he has been there more than 10 times already and took me there.
The kitchen is full of staff! The serving speed is fast, and all are sophisticated and of Japanese quality.
We had the tantanmen, yuzu kosho ramen, tofu cutlet and grilled dumplings, and the ramen was so good that we wanted to drink all the soup.
Located right next to Pavilion Damansara.
