Hoi An - UNESCO World Heritage site
@ Vietnam
2, Night walking
Old Town of Hoi An registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port from the 15th to 19th centuries.
In the evening and at night, the city becomes very lively with night stalls, many lanterns lit, glaring lights and restaurant lights. The Tubon River is so crowded with people that the river is jammed with tourists who take boats to float lanterns down the river.
The river and the streets were overflowing with people, and many of them were group tourists, making it difficult to walk. I was surprised at the sheer number of people.
Old Town Hoi An has a different face during the day and at night. It is a place I would like to visit at least once.
