Bean to Bar chocolate made with cacao from three different regions in Malaysia. You can see the farmer’s face in these chocolates. The taste and aroma of the same chocolate is completely different depending on the soil and content of cacao.
This bean-to-bar chocolate is a product of Benns Ethicoa, which purchases cacao beans from Asia through fair trade and carefully makes single-estate chocolates. The back of @ohbeatricee's gently illustrated packaging introduces the producer and farm, and inside is a detailed history of Malaysian cacao.
The chocolate is made with only cacao nibs, cacao butter, and raw cane sugar, with no additives. To that, coconut, orange peel, and hazelnut are mixed in, respectively, for a limited time only.
