Sabah visual art museum.
It displays the work of Sabah artists.
Eye-catching building. Already beautiful from the reception table.
After climbing the spiral staircase, a number of artworks were displayed along the corridor.
We were in the middle of an exhibition of women artists from Sabah, and enjoyed the variety of artworks.
It's nice to have such a beautiful museum in the city.

目を惹く建物。受付のテーブルからすでに美しい。
螺旋状の階段を上がると、回廊沿いに展示された作品の数々。
サバ州の女性アーティストの展示会の最中でしたが、さまざまな作品があり、楽しめました。
こういう美しい美術館が街にあるっていいですね。

“A gourmet play store”. It’s sustainable restaurant.
A friend who had lived in Kota Kinabalu for a long time recommended it to me, so I visited.
The restaurant is bright, natural and beautiful. Lots of wine, delicacies, pies and cakes on the wall side. Very nice atmosphere.
The menu offers breakfast and brunch options and the meat and creative dishes to enjoy with wine were all very good.

「グルメな遊び場」。サステナブルなレストラン。
コタキナバルに長くすんでいた友人が、おすすめしてくれたので、訪れました。
明るくナチュラルで美しい店内。壁側には、たくさんのワインやお惣菜やパイやケーキが並びます。雰囲気がとても良い。
ブレックファストやブランチを楽しめるメニューと、ワインと一緒に楽しめる肉料理、クリエイティブな料理はどれもとてもおいしかったです。

The guests staying Club Floor, can choose breakfast place at Club Lounge ( level14) or Latest Recipe ( Lobby floor).

Breakfast in the lounge overlooking the sea has not so many choices, but it is enough, wonderful and relaxed meal.
The omelette was perfectly cooked, with a melting inside.
If possible, I want to drink Fresh fruit or vegetable juices.

A large selection of dishes. Notable items on the menu include steamed cakoi with kaya jam and frozen yoghurt.
And, perhaps because of the French brand, I find the bread tasty in all Meridien hotels.

クラブフロアに宿泊している人は、クラブラウンジ（14階）か、ロビー階のメインダイニングレストランのどちらかで朝食をとることができます。
私は4泊していたので、どちらにも行ってみました。
雰囲気をとるか、品数をとるか。個人的には、混みすぎないラウンジでの食事がより快適だと思いました。

海を一望出来るラウンジでの朝食は、品数は多くありませんが、落ち着いて食事ができて素晴らしい。
オムレツは中がとろとろで完璧な焼き加減でした。
フルーツや野菜のフレッシュジュースを提供して欲しい。

たくさんの品揃え。特筆すべきメニューは、蒸したチャコイ(油条)のカヤジャム添えと、フローズンヨーグルト。
それと、フランスの系列だからか、どこのメリディアンでもパンはおいしいと感じます。

15-minute drive from Kota Kinabalu Airport. Overlooking the sea, this 5-star hotel is in a prime location.
The view from the upper floors and club lounge is of the ocean. The sunsets from here and from the rooftop bar are also spectacular.
The market, seafood market and Filipino market are all in front of the hotel, which is very lively and offers fresh and tasty seafood dishes at extremely low prices.
We stayed in a suite this time (4 nights) and it was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The view of the sea changes with time and you never get tired of it, so much so that you want to stay in your room forever.
The cocktail hour selection in the club lounge was good and tasty.
Breakfast can be served either in the restaurant on the lobby floor or in the club lounge.
If I have require, The only thing is I want fresh juice at breakfast.

コタキナバル空港から車で15分。海を望むこの5つ星ホテルは、最高の立地です。
上階やクラブラウンジからの景色は一面の海。ここやルーフトップバーからの夕陽がまた素晴らしい。
目の前には市場、海鮮市場、フィリピーノマーケットが連なり、活気に溢れ、新鮮で美味い海鮮料理がものすごく安く食べることができます。
今回はスイートに宿泊しましたが(4泊)、広くて清潔で快適でした。
時間と共に変化する海の眺めは飽きることがなく、ずっと部屋にいたくなるほど。
クラブラウンジでのカクテルタイムの品揃えは良かったし、おいしかった。
朝食はロビー階のレストランかクラブラウンジ、どちらでも選べます。
唯一残念だったのは、朝食時にフレッシュジュースがなかったことくらい。

Sabah State Museum @ Kota Kinabaru, Sabah
A specimen of whale bone greets you at the entrance.
The exhibition was rather spectacular, with a wide range of exhibits about a whole range of Sabah collections, from the history of the state, ancient artifacts, textiles and pottery, natural creatures to information about the headhunters.
Entrance fee for Malaysians is RM2; foreigners, whether children or adults, pay a flat fee of RM15.

サバ州立の美術館。
入り口では鯨の骨の標本がお出迎え。
サバ州の歴史から、古代の出土品、織物や陶器、自然の生き物から首狩族についてまで、サバ集に関する一通りのことが幅広く展示されていて、わりと見応えはありました。
マレーシア人の入場料金はRM2。外国人は子供でも大人でも一律RM15。
切れた電球がそのままで暗いところが随所にあるのは、マレーシアでは想定内。
