The interior is Peranakan themed and is a new Marriott Bomboy Group hotel that just opened in December 2024.
This was my first time staying there.
The lobby is bright, spacious, and upscale, but with lovely Peranakan patterns in every detail. This hotel is packed with "little pleasures".
The executive lounge is open 24 hours. Delicious baked goods. Even the teacups, pots, and amenities in the rooms are cute, the drinks and snacks in the minibar are complimentary, there are five different pillow menus, the infinity pool and bar are nice and open, the gym is open 24 hours, and the breakfast menu is full of Penang specialties. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
The hotel arranged a car for me from the airport to the hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the seats were equipped with massage chairs.
Have a wonderful experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

ロビーは明るくて広く、高級感がありながらも、細部にわたってプラナカン柄が可愛い。このホテルには「ちょっと嬉しいこと」がたくさん詰まっています。
エグゼクティブラウンジが24時間オープン。焼き菓子も美味しい。部屋にあるティーカップやポット、アメニティまでもキュート、ミニバーのドリンクとスナックが無料、枕のメニューが5種類もある、インフィニティプールとバーも開放感があって素敵、ジムも24時間オープン、朝食にはペナンならではのメニューがたくさん。そしてスタッフの皆さんもにこやかで丁寧。とても快適な滞在でした。
さらに、空港からホテルまで、車を手配してもらったのですが、なんと席がマッサージチェア付きで嬉しい驚きでした。

Ramadan Buffet at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort. This is a hotel that I always want to come back to because of the wonderful atmosphere and appearance of the space.
Traditional flavors and regional Malaysian dishes are the main focus, but there are also quality grilled dishes such as Percik beef filet and Thai-style lamb chops, as well as Thai dishes such as duck red curry and mushroom tom yum kung. Be sure to try the whole roasted lamb grilled by the poolside.

Ramadan Buffet at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. “Sajian Istimewa” means Special Dishes. And the team led by Chef Safee will be serving up specialties from all over Malaysia at outdoor bazaar stalls.
Laksa Johor, Tempoyak (stewed fermented durian) with patin fish, and Malacca's baked coconut sweets (a rarity, I've never seen it before)! etc. I was also pleased to see that Shangri-La's buffet has a wide selection of another non-Malay dishes. You can enjoy high quality Chinese, Italian, Western, Indian, and even seafood such as lobster. Overall, it is luxurious, upscale, and a wonderful place to spend a wonderful time.

I attended the CNY event at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.
This is their 40th year. So it was more fantastic !
We enjoyed Acrobatic Lion Dance, Rythmic 24-drummers, Ling Long Yee Sang tossing, and Buffet lunch.
How prosperity! 5 Lions danced!
昨日は2025年のチャイニーズニューイヤー最終日。シャングリラクアラルンプールのイベントに出席しました。
今年40周年を迎えるこのホテル。より一層素晴らしいイベントでした。
アクロバティックライオンダンス、24太鼓の演奏、長い長いイーサンに、ビュッフェランチ。5頭のライオンによるダンスはなんておめでたいことでしょう！

The theme of this year's Ramadan Dinner Buffet at Crowne Plaza Klcc is “Kampung".
The menu features a variety of heartwarming Malay dishes, seafood, and beautiful desserts.
The food was very tasty with a good balance of meat and seafood and a wide variety of flavors.
There were also eight different types of sambal with flavors that I was discovering for the first time.
