This is a serviced apartment where you can stay as if you were living in Mont Kiara, KL.
The room is spacious and very simple, abd the big plus is that they are equipped with a large refrigerator, washer/dryer, kitchen, and have a large bathtub.
And above all, it is too convenient that it is directly connected to 163 Mall, which has many stylish cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. The mall was crowded with people even around 9 pm.
I stayed at another serviced apartment managed by Bamboo Hospitality about a month ago and found it very comfortable, so I stayed at The OOAK this time.
As a hotel stayer, I like the fact that it is not just an air B&B, but that there are staff at the reception to check in and help you if you have any problems, just like in a hotel.

広くてとてもシンプルだけど、大きな冷蔵庫や洗濯乾燥機、キッチンが備わっていて、大きなバスタブ付きというのは大きなポイント。
そしてなによりも、おしゃれでたくさんのカフェやレストラン、スーパーも入る163モール直結というのは便利すぎる。モールは夜21時ごろでも多くの人で賑わっていました。
1ヶ月ほど前に、bamboo hospitality の管理する別のサービスアパートメントでステイケーションして、とても快適だったので今回はこちらのThe OOAKに宿泊しました。
ホテルステイ派の私としては、ただのAir B&Bではなくて、レセプションにスタッフがいて、ホテルと同じようにチェックインしたり、困った時に対応してもらえるのがとても良い。

And above all, it is too convenient that it is directly connected to 163 Mall, which has many stylish cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. The mall was crowded with people even around 9 pm.
I stayed at another serviced apartment managed by Bamboo Hospitality about a month ago and found it very comfortable, so I stayed at The OOAK this time.
As a hotel stayer, I like the fact that it is not just an air B&B, but that there are staff at the reception to check in and help you if you have any problems, just like in a hotel.

Bakeman 糕人 Pop Up Cafe @ Jari Reka, Johor Bahru
A quiet house behind Thistle Hotel. When you open the door with the sign, you will find yourself in a stylish and tasteful café. Bakeman, a confectionery brand created by my friend Tony, who started out as a home baker, has opened a pop-up cafe for weekends only. The sweets, all made with extremely low sugar content, are gentle and delicious, and seem to reflect Tony's personality. You can also enjoy a cup of delicious hand-pressed coffee.
His snowskin mooncakes are not too sweet, and are so popular that many customers order in large quantities.
The banana cake is also very popular because of its flavor and handmade tenderness. The cake we had this time was also very tasty, healthy and high quality, using yogurt and taro etc.
Check the Instagram for monthly opening days. Seating is limited, so advance reservations are recommended.

彼の作るスノースキン月餅は、食べくりサイズで甘くなく、大人気で大量オーダーを入れる顧客も多いです。
バナナケーキも風味よくて手作りの優しさがあり大人気。今回いただいたケーキも、ヨーグルトやタロ芋などを使用し、ヘルシーで上質でとてもおいしかった。

I'm sorry that before visiting, I suspected that the restaurant was only good for large portions. But Actually It was a very tasty, affordable, and nice restaurant.
A restaurant specializing in Japanese-style mega Don (rice bowls) and Kakigori (shaved ice ) opened in Permas City in April 2025.
The restaurant was born when Eddie, an experienced chef with 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine in Singapore and Malaysia, and Joe, who runs several cafes specializing in shaved ice, met.
The volume of Don is eye-catching, but the taste and price are also very satisfying. The signature dish is a large Don topped with pork ribs so tender they fall apart with chopsticks. The unagi and 2 types meat of char-grilled Don are also very popular. You can also choose a small Don, and it is filled to the brim with many ingredients. Whether you have a small appetite or want to eat a lot, the whole family can enjoy it.
After dinner, don't forget to try the authentic Kakigori. It was so delicious that I finished it even though I was full.
Soup, cabbage, and side dishes are free refills.

訪れる前は、大盛りだけが取り柄のお店だと疑っていてごめんなさい。とても美味しくてお手頃で、いいお店でした。
Permas City に4月にオープンした日本式メガ盛りどんぶりとかき氷の専門店。シンガポールなどでの和食経験20年の熟練シェフEddie と、かき氷専門カフェを数店舗経営するJoeが出会い、誕生したお店。ボリュームが目を引きますが、それだけでなく、味も価格も全てが大満足。箸で崩れるほどに柔らかいポークリブがぎっしりと載った大盛りの丼がシグネイチャー。うなぎや3種の炭火焼き丼も大人気。小盛りの丼も選べて、具沢山なのが嬉しい。少食の方もたくさん食べたい方も、家族みんなが楽しめます。
食後には、本格かき氷も忘れずに。お腹いっぱいでも完食できるおいしさ。
スープ、キャベツ、副菜はおかわりフリーです。

Concorde Hotel has an excellent location in the center of KL. I was invited by a friend to this restaurant for the first time because they have started a hot pot buffet on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.
The hot pot soup is Malaysian style. You can choose two from five types: the signature curry, tom yum, tomato, chicken, and kimchi. I definitely recommend the curry and chicken soup. A wide variety of dipping sauces are available for a change of flavor.
In addition, the restaurant offers freshly fried tempura and karaage, famous teppanyaki, and a full lineup of desserts. You can spend a pleasant time with your family, friends, or colleagues.

“Salt Beef & Mild Salami” and “ Fried Smoked Salmon & Horse Raddish”. Big volume and good taste! The coffee has a unique flavor with a strong acidity.

My favorite Colonial cafe at the Majestic Hotel. The atmosphere here is reminiscent of the British colonial era, and afternoon tea is very popular. There is live jazz music every night from about 7:30-10:00 p.m., so I often visit there at night, even by myself, to enjoy a cup of tea or a drink.
This time, I had a friend visiting from Japan and staying at this hotel, so we had the Colonial Sampler Course for dinner.
Colonial cuisine originated from a Chinese from Hainan who worked as a chef for an Englishman.
It is a reimagining of traditional British cuisine with Asian cooking methods, local ingredients, and exotic flavors, a Malaysian-style Western cuisine, so to speak. The nostalgic classic dishes are full of old-fashioned goodness, and the course is unique to the historic Majestic Hotel. It was very tasty and would be very much appreciated by those who are in their 40's or older.It may seem new to foreigners and young people. The bottle of wine starts from RM120.
After the meal, we moved to the sofa to enjoy the jazz music.

We stayed one night on a staycation in this hotel-like 31-story serviced apartment, which was recommended by a friend.
The location is really convenient, next to the Desa Sri Hartamas shop lot, with countless restaurants, cafes, and a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. It is still new, having only been open for about a year, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, equipped with washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.
I am usually more of a hotel person than an AirB&B person, but this serviced apartment has its own reception and is managed like a hotel. So very good. You can rest assured.
The infinity pool and gym are nice. We had breakfast at Common Man Coffee Roasters, a popular cafe on the G floor, and the coffee, green hummus, and hash browns were all wonderfully delicious and lovely.
I highly recommend this serviced apartment for a few days stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Desa Sri Hartamas のショップロット横にあり、無数のレストランやカフェ、24時間オープンのコンビニも階下にあり、本当に便利なロケーション。まだオープンして1年ほどで新しく、部屋は広くて清潔で、洗濯機、冷蔵庫、電子レンジなどが備わっていてとても快適。
私は普段、エアビーよりもホテル派ですが、このサービスアパートメントは専用のレセプションがあり、ホテルのように管理されているので、安心して宿泊できます。
インフィニティプールやジムも素敵。朝食はG階にある人気のカフェCommon Man Coffee Roasters でいただきましたが、コーヒーもグリーンフムスもハッシュドブラウンも、素晴らしく美味しく、素敵なカフェでした。

The good vibes cafe fennel & co. just opened at The Stories commercial complex in Taman Tunku. Aromatic Malaysian and Western cuisine and specialty drinks are served in a space surrounded by greenery.
The buttermilk oats fried chicken served with three different sauces is superb and a true signature dish. The Tom Yum Spaghetti with Prawn in homemade sauce is addictive with its richness and balance of spices. The sourdough French toast made with coconut milk and palm sugar is also a must-order. The satay is tender, juicy, and of high quality.
Although I didn't try it this time, I heard that their another signature dishes are the big volume nasi lemak and nasi serai. I would like to visit this restaurant again and again to discover my favorite menu items.
On weekends during June, a promotion is underway to give away a croque-monsieur to a father.

Taman Tunkuにある商業施設The Storiesにオープンしたばかりの爽やかなカフェfennel & co. 。香り高いマレーシア料理と西洋料理、こだわりのドリンクが緑に囲まれたスペースでいただけます。
3種のソースでいただくバターミルクオーツフライドチキンは絶品で、まさにシグネイチャーのメニュー。自家製ソースの海老のトムヤムスパゲティは、リッチなコクとスパイスのバランスがやみつききなる味。ココナツミルクとパームシュガーを使用したサワードゥのフレンチトーストもマストオーダー。サテは柔らかくジューシーで、ハイクオリティ。
今回はいただきませんでしたが、ビッグボリュームのナシレマやナシセライもシグネイチャーメニューだそう。何度も訪れてお気に入りのメニューを発掘したくなるお店。
