This is the lunch buffet that has been offered at the W Hotel's dining restaurant, Flock, since last month.
I loved the quality and the healthy food.
The buffet includes appetizers (breads and sandwiches, a variety of poke bowls, salads, soup, sushi and sashimi, and vegetable skewers) and a dessert buffet for RM108 nett. If you want to have main dishes, you can choose one of four main dishes for an additional RM48nett.
Perfect for a business meeting or just a chat with friends. You can enjoy a lot of vegetables and feel healthy even though it is a buffet. The skewers of Leek and shiitake mushrooms, beef ciabatta sandwich, and ice cream were my favourite.

Wホテルのダイニングレストラン「Flock」で先月から実施されているランチビュッフェ。
質が高くて、ヘルシーでとても気に入りました。
アペタイザー(パンやサンドウィッチ、豊富な具材のポケボウルとサラダ、スープ、お寿司とお刺身、野菜の串焼き) それとデザートのビュッフェで税込RM108。メインディッシュをオーダーしたい場合はRM48の追加で4種類から選べます。
ビジネスミーティングや友人とのおしゃべりの場にぴったり。たくさん野菜をいただけて、ビュッフェだけどヘルシーな気分。ネギや椎茸の串焼き、牛のチャバタサンド、アイスクリームなど、とても美味しかったです。

I think its popularity is due to the fact that it is conveniently located about 20 minutes from Shinjuku by train, yet is rich in nature, such as Inokashira Park, and has many shopping streets and stores, offering everything from inexpensive stores to high-end stores.
Once you get off the station, there are countless stores. There are many arcades, from department stores, cheap confectionary stores, electronics stores, drug stores, restaurants, cafes, and anything else you want to buy!
You can shop from the perspective of the people who live here.
However, there are few hotels, so you may want to stay in another city.

駅を降りると無数のお店があります。アーケードも多く、デパートメントストアから、格安お菓子屋さん、電気屋さんからドラッグストア、レストラン、カフェなど、あなたの買いたいものがなんでも揃います！
ただし、ホテルは少ないので、観光客が宿泊するなら別の街がいいでしょう。

Pastry cafe in Medini opened new outlet at Trove Hotel.
The bright and soft atmosphere of the cafe is comfortable, though not so spacious. Open from 9:00 am daily.
A large selection of cakes, tarts, breads, etc. The food menu, including pasta and chicken chops, is classic standard and not too expensive. There are snacks and cocktails too.
You can park your car in the hotel parking lot, so it is convenient to stop by.

メディニ地区にオープンした、アフタヌーンティーを楽しめるケーキカフェが、JBタウンエリア、TroveホテルのG階にオープンしました。
明るくて柔らかい雰囲気の店内は、それほど広くはありませんが快適。毎日朝9時から営業。ケーキやタルト、パンなど数多く並びます。パスタやチキンチョップなど、フードメニューはオーソドックスで価格が高すぎないのが良い。カクテルやスナック類もありました。
ホテルの駐車場に車を停められるので、立ち寄るのに便利です。

ボリュームタップリのチキンとビーフの串焼きに、生春巻きやチキントルティーヤロール、ドリアンゴレンに、スコーンやケーキと紅茶がついて、2人前でRM88はかなりお得感あり。甘いもの少なめな組み合わせは、私の好み。食事代わりによさそう。
アラカルトメニューの中でのおすすめは、バナナリーフのシーフードフライドライス。XLサイズの海老とXLサイズのイカが添えられていてRM34.9。ナシカンダーのお店なら倍くらいのお値段がしそう。

The spacious lobby, the dignified air and subtle good smells, the panoramic sea view when you enter the room, the fluffy slippers.
I stayed two nights at the Ascott Gurney Penang, an apartment hotel located on Gurney Drive in Penang.
The executive room is very comfortable with a spacious living room, a bright bedroom, and a bathtub with an ocean view.
I liked it very much.
I had an image that the Ascott series are simple hotels with only rooms, but this is the only hotel in Malaysia that has a bar and restaurant inside the hotel.
The restaurant and bar menu prices start from RM20, so it is suitable for everyday use.
In addition to the pool, gym, yoga room, and residence lounge, there is a very well-equipped kids' room and children's pool.
Although it seems like a beautiful and simple hotel for adults, it is also a place where families can fully enjoy themselves.
Breakfast is a delight, with many varieties of dim sum and elaborate menus such as beancurd desserts.
The location is very convenient as it is attached to a shopping mall with many convenience store, restaurants, and cafes.

すごく気に入りました。
アスコット系列は、部屋のみのシンプルなホテルというイメージがありましたが、ここは唯一、ホテル内にバーやレストランが入っています。
レストランやバーのメニューの価格もRM20からと普段使いにできる感じ。
プールやジム、ヨガルームやレジデンスラウンジの他、キッズルームや子供用プールがとても充実しています。
美しくシンプルな大人向けのホテルと思いきや、家族も存分に楽しめる場所。
朝食は、飲茶の種類が多かったり、豆花デザートなどの趣向を凝らしたメニューも多くて嬉しい。
ショッピングモールに併設しているので、コンビニやレストラン、カフェもたくさんあってとても便利な立地。

I stayed at 3 bedroom at this residences. It’s something service apartment for 1day yo 1year long stay.

I had a room on the 27th floor and the view was just amazing!!
The ocean is everywhere and you can see it from every room!
There was a laundry room with all the cooking equipment, etc. The water has a high performance filter in it so you can drink from the tap.

Hotel Mercure Penang Beach is located on a street lined with houses and condominiums, about 20 minutes by car from the center of Penang.
Behind the compact front desk, the beautiful sea and sky suddenly appear. It is as if you are in another world.
You can enjoy the atmosphere of a resort with a private beach and swimming pool, yet you can stay in a room from RM240 per room.
I stayed in a superior ocean view room. The large window opens to the ocean, and when you lie down on the bed, the sky is all around you. Very relaxing.
There is a rocky beach right off the beach, so if you bring your own equipment, you are allowed fishing. There were countless shells on the beach.
There is a convenience store in the building next door and several reputable restaurants conveniently located within a 3 minute walk. The place was crowded with families.

First stay in 2 years was very comfortable.
Doubletree is located in JB Town and the rooms are clean and of high quality.
What I was happy to find out for the first time is that there is a jacuzzi and steam room. Guests can use it from 6 am to 10 pm. It is very relaxing and I would be willing to take a staycation for it. The pool here is also very resort-like and comfortable.
I thought the breakfast buffet at the Makan Kitchen had the most attractive selection since the hotel opened. There is Kacang pool (meat sauce with beans served with toast), a local dish of Johor, freshly squeezed vegetable juices, grain salads, soy milk coffee machines, and many other things you won't find in other hotels.
Watching the sunset while having a drink in the executive lounge is also a nice touch.

2年ぶりの宿泊は、とても快適でした。
JBタウンにあるDoubletree。部屋は清潔で高いクオリティを保っています。
今回初めて知って嬉しかったのは、ジャグジーとスチームルームがあること。朝6時から夜10時まで、宿泊客は使用できます。とてもリラックスできて、このためにステイケーションしても良いと思えるほど。ここのプールもリゾート風で心地よいです。
マカンキッチンでの朝食ビュッフェは、このホテルがオープン以来、最も魅力的な品揃えだと思いました。ジョホールの郷土料理であるカチャンプール(豆入りミートソースをトーストといただく料理)があったり、搾りたてのフレッシュベジタブル野菜ジュース、穀物のサラダ、豆乳のコーヒーマシーンなど、他のホテルで見かけないものがたくさん。
エグゼグティブラウンジで、お酒やドリンクをいただきながら夕陽を眺めるのもいい感じ。

If you decide to go Weekday Buffet Dinner, I recommend this at Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru.
Usually if go to Hotel dinner buffet, definitely Friday or Saturday is the best timing. Because many customers come, food selection is wide and gorgeous.
But if you go on Weekdays, This Roast and Grill Buffet will be good.
Dry Rubbed Barbecue Australian Beef Rib, Grilled Seabass, Seafood Paella, Assorted Cold Cuts etc.
There are many attractive main dishes.
And on Weekday, you can feel very relax. Not too crowded. So good for business meeting too.

I stayed at the Renaissance Johor Bahru for the first time in about 2 years. The hotel is always clean and comfortable.
The rooms are spacious enough. The windows are large and you can enjoy a far-reaching view from any room, no matter which direction you face.
The breakfast lineup is quite extensive.
The executive lounge is always crowded during cocktail hours, but seems relaxing during tea time.
The staff is friendly, hospitable, and professional. Many of them have been with the hotel for a long time and provide decent hotel service.

「ジョホールバルに来たらいつもここに宿泊する」というファンも多いルネッサンスジョホールバル。私は約2年ぶりに宿泊しました。いつでも清潔で、心地よいホテルです。
部屋は十分な広さ。窓が大きく、どの向きの部屋でも遠くまで見渡せるビューが楽しめます。
朝食のラインナップはかなり充実しています。
エグゼグティブラウンジは、カクテルタイムはいつも混んでいますが、ティータイムにはゆったりできる感じ。
スタッフがフレンドリーでホスピタリティに溢れ、プロフェッショナル。長く勤めている方も多く、きちんとしたホテルのサービスが受けられます。

It's a very special menu! The 6 colorful Xiao Long Bao 小籠包(black truffle, scallop, mala, tomyam, nyonya, and Korean spicy) offer a taste of each country. If you didn't know this was a no-pork Chinese restaurant, you wouldn't even notice that the Xiao Long Bao 小籠包 are so authentic and delicious. They are rich, impactful, flavorful and very tasty!
I've seen colorful Xiao Long Bao 小籠包 with different flavors in non-halal restaurants, but I think this is the first time I've seen them in a Muslim-friendly restaurant. A delicious, fun and wonderful menu that anyone can enjoy.
These xiao long bao are available only during lunch hours.
Another special a la carte menu item is the Crablicious. They prepare live crabs from Malaysia with your choice of 13 different flavors. (Minimum 1 kg 2-3 crabs.)
The Sarawak white pepper crab is the best choice. The delicate spiciness of the white pepper brings out the sweetness of the crab.
Crab served in such a beautiful atmosphere is gorgeous!

こういう味わいの違うカラフルな小籠包は、ノンハラルの店では見かけますが、ムスリムフレンドリーの店では初ではないでしょうか。どなたでも楽しめるおいしく楽しい素敵なメニュー。

Today is an annual festive day for the 170+ Renaissance Hotel Group. I attended the event “ Let's all connect while exploring Johor's cultural heritage.” called “ celebration with Discover Johor’s Cultural Heritage”.
Many influencers and media from Malaysia and Singapore were invited and enjoyed 1day trip.
Morning started with Delicious breakfast.

Art museum by local artists.
Now the exhibitions is Arabic and Malay traditional letter’s drawing.
I cannot read. But Malay friend can read Arabic and translated to me.

The evening cocktails will round out today's event. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful live music, mocktails with fresh coconut juice in the cocktails, fusion crepes and nasi lemak sushi.
And the special chocolate tower for this event was amazing! It's like a chocolate coral filled with so many sweets and appetizers. Amazing work! It tasted great too.
The Renaissance Hotel will be renovating this space in the future. I hope they will have a nice bar lounge.
It was a great day to explore and get to know the culture of Johor.

今日は、170以上のルネッサンスホテルグループにとっての年に一度のお祭りのような日。「みんなでジョホールの文化遺産を探求しながら繋がって行こう」というイベントがあり、シンガポールやマレーシア各地から多くのメディアが招待されて参加しました。前日から宿泊し、朝からイベント「Global Day of Discovery」スタート。
朝8時にお揃いのTシャツを来て集合。GM:Kanit 氏の挨拶に始まり、朝食は作りたてのラクサジョホール、ロティのハンドロール、お好みクロワッサン、コーヒーとテタリ。とてもおいしい。
メディアの皆さんとバスに乗って遠足開始。

まずはジョホールの伝統的な家へ。
ジョホールの伝統的な料理やゲーム、コスチュームなどを説明していただく。初めて知ることもあり、楽しい。
10:15 Galeri Tenun Johor
織物美術館へ。
ここに来るのは3回目。
伝統織物を学べて、美しい布を見ることができる。
オリジナルの布をオーダーすることもできる。2mでRM2000(約6万円)から。
男性がシルクを着るのはハラムでいけないんだそうですよ。知らなかった。
11:00 Galeri Seni Johor
ローカルアーティストの作品を展示する美術館へ。
現在行われているのは、(5月末まで)、アラビア文字とマレーシアの昔も文字を使用したアートの展示会。
私はさっぱり読めないけど、ジョホールのマレー人はアラビックの教育を受けているから読めて意味も分かるそうで、訳してくれた。ポエムとか心に留めておきたい言葉とか。
ワークショップはナプキンの色染め。綺麗。

今日のイベントを締めくくるのはイブニングカクテル。生演奏で素敵な音楽、カクテルにフレッシュココナツジュースを使用したモクテル、ヒュージョンクレープやナシレマ寿司など、とても美味しくて驚きました。
そしてこのイベントのためのスペシャルチョコレートタワーがすごい！チョコレートのサンゴのようなものに、たくさんのお菓子やアペタイザーが詰まってる。すごい作品！味も美味しかった。
今後ルネッサンスホテルではこのスペースを改装するそう。素敵なバーラウンジができることを願っています。
ジョホールの文化を探求して知ることができる、素晴らしい1日でした。

I think this is the best buffet at the Renaissance in the last 2 years!
All you can eat raw oysters and charbroiled oysters too!
I have been to every dinner buffet at this hotel, and of the past 2 years, this buffet today is personally the best.
It is an Asian themed buffet and the selection and flavors were very good.
The large shrimp tom yum soup was an original recipe by GM Kanit (who is from Thailand!). and was very flavorful and not too spicy. All other Thai dishes were also endorsed by him.
Vietnamese spring rolls, lamb briyani in a bamboo tube, Singapore hocken mee, and many other "must try" items.
The pastry staff has changed and the cakes taste better.
The mango sticky rice is good, and the candy apples were nostalgic and delightful.
Both can be enjoyed on Fridays and Saturdays. (There are no live food stalls such as grilled oysters on weekdays).
Highly Recommended!

生牡蠣と炭火焼牡蠣も食べ放題！
このホテルのディナーブッフェは毎回行っていますが、過去2年の中では、今日のこのブッフェが個人的には一番です。
アジアをテーマにしたビュッフェで、品揃えも味付けもとても良かったです。
大きなエビのトムヤムスープは、GMのKanitさん（タイ出身の方です！）のオリジナルレシピで、風味がよく、辛すぎず、とても美味しいです！他のタイ料理も全て彼のお墨付き。
ベトナムの生春巻き、竹筒に入ったラム肉のブリヤニ、シンガポールホッケンミーなどなど、「食べてみたい」と思うものがたくさんあります。
パティシエのスタッフが変わって、ケーキの味も良くなりました。
マンゴースティッキーライスもいいし、リンゴ飴は懐かしくて嬉しかった。
いずれも金・土曜日に楽しむことができます。(平日は焼き牡蠣などのライブ屋台はありません)。
