A small luxury hotel with 59 rooms, located next to a golf course.
The building was originally a cottage built in the 1930s and expanded in the 1970s, and is now the hotel. Colonial-style rooms, a lounge with Jim Thompson fabrics, and a pond with koi carp swim harmoniously together.
Afternoon tea in the Jim Thompson Tea Room is very popular. I have had this before and have always wanted to stay there someday.
The hospitality is both classy and friendly. Waking up to the sound of birds. A la carte quality breakfast. This is the perfect hotel for a relaxing stay in a summer resort.

ゴルフ場の横にある、全59室のスモールラグジュアリーホテル。
1930年代に建てられたコテージを1970年代に増築した建物が現在のホテルになっていて、コロニアル調の部屋、ジムトンプソンのファブリックを使用したラウンジ、鯉の泳ぐ池が調和しています。
「ジムトンプソンティールーム」でのアフタヌーンティーは人気。以前これをいただいて、いつか宿泊してみたいと思っていました。
品がありつつフレンドリーなおもてなし。鳥の声で目覚める朝。アラカルトの上質な朝食。避暑地でゆったりと過ごすのに最適なホテルです。

The Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant @ Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands
The hotel was built by the British in 1937 during the British colonial period. Everything is in a classic English style, and the lobby is decorated with antique furnishings. The gardens are beautiful with flowers in bloom. My family and I stayed 1 night in 2 rooms of the cottages.
It was an extraordinary and wonderful place to spend a relaxing time. We enjoyed chatting on the cool terrace in front of our room. I would recommend bringing warm clothes as it is cold at night. (No air conditioning.)
The English restaurant here is open to non-guests. I had afternoon tea here a few years ago and was impressed by the delicious sandwiches. Again, the roast beef and clubhouse sandwiches were quite a hit with everyone, and were so good that we wanted to come to Cameron Highlands for this.
Breakfast is by order and semi-buffet.

イギリス統治時代、1937年にイギリス人によって建てられたホテル。すべてがクラシックな英国風で、アンティークの調度品で飾られたロビー。庭園には花が咲き乱れ、とても美しい。家族でコテージの2室に1泊しました。
非日常な素敵な空間で、ゆったりと過ごせました。部屋の前の涼しいテラスでのんびりおしゃべりするのも楽しかった。夜は寒いので防寒着を持参することをお勧めします。(エアコンなし。)
ここのイギリス料理レストランは、宿泊客以外でも利用できます。数年前にここでアフタヌーン・ティーをいただきましたが、サンドイッチのおいしさに感動しました。今回も、ローストビーフとクラブハウスのサンドイッチはみんなにかなり好評で、このためにキャメロンハイランドに来たくなるほどのおいしさ。
朝食はオーダーとセミビュッフェ式。

This hotel is 5star classic hotel.
We can enjoy Afternoon Tea RM75/1pax, RM130/2pax at beautiful tea room from 3pm.
Just OK walking in. They don’t take reservation.
Beautiful atmosphere.
Food’s quality is quite good. Especially Sandwich and Scones. Highly recommended.
キャメロンハイランド旅行中。ここの名門クラシックホテルのアフタヌーンティーは、ジムトンプソンの名がつけられたティーラウンジにて、3時から6時。予約は受け付けていません。
すべて美味しくいただきましたが、とくにサンドウィッチのクオリティは素晴らしく、帝国ホテルのアフタヌーンティーを思い出しました。
ホテル内の雰囲気も美しく、宿泊しなくてもランチやアフタヌーンティーだけのために来る価値があります。
