Lunch with two friends after several months. We enjoyed a three-course set lunch at Merdeka Grill on the 75th floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel. The set lunch is RM168+ for two courses and RM198+ for three courses, with several menu options to choose from.
They kindly confirmed any Dietary restrictions beforehand.
We started with eggplant hummus and bread. The modern, beautiful presentation, simple yet high-quality ingredients, and friendly, attentive service made for a wonderful experience.
Everything was absolutely delicious!
The view from the 75th floor was also outstanding.
I was delighted to meet Executive Pastry Chef Holger @holgerdeh. He made a thoughtful gesture, and the gentle cheesecake and vanilla bean-like cake were also delicious.
Lunch reservations are booked solid for the next 1-2 weeks, so I recommend booking well in advance.

I attended the preview dinner this time. The menu featured a variety of traditional Sarawakian dishes, prepared in a wild and modern style. The Prawn Umai, a raw shrimp dish marinated with lime and other herbs, was especially delicious. The fried bario rice served with chicken steamed in a bamboo pot was a gentle and natural taste of Sarawak.
With breathtaking city views, indulge in a dining journey where tradition meets innovation and local stories are told through refined creations.

The Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Hotel just opened in Merdeka 118 (678.9m), the second tallest building in the world.
I was looking forward to its opening.
All of the restaurants and bars are on the 75th floor, and I visited the chocolate-themed bar.
You can enjoy the fusion of mixology and the art of chocolate, including original chocolate blocks created by Executive Pastry Chef Holger Deh, a variety of cacao-based cocktails and mocktails, and chocolates from various origins, types, and blends.
The welcome drink and moist towel were also a little surprise.
This bar is located on the highest floor in Kuala Lumpur. It's beautiful and delicious, and has become one of my favorite bars.

開業を楽しみにしていました。
レストランやバーは全て75階にあるのですが、その中のチョコレートをテーマにしたバーに行ってきました。
エグゼクティブペストリーシェフHolger Deh氏によるオリジナルのチョコレートブロックや、カカオを使用したカクテルやモクテルの数々、さまざまな産地や種類、配合の異なるチョコレートなど、ミクソロジーと芸術的なチョコレートの融合を楽しめます。
ウェルカムドリンクとおしぼりにもちょっとした驚きがありました。
クアラルンプールで最も高層階に位置するバー。美しくておいしくて、お気に入りのバーになりました。

One of the most popular hotels in JB.St. Giles Hotel, a 4-star hotel attached to Mid Valley South Quay.
Because of its convenient location, it quickly fills up with Singaporeans who want to enjoy shopping.
I stayed two nights in a Premier Room this time.The living room and bedroom are separated, and the large windows offer an expansive JB panoramic view. The water is eco-friendly and you can get your own water from the water station in the hallway.
If you stay in a Premier room, you also have access to the executive lounge, and breakfast is available as a buffet as well as an a la carte menu. Even though I stayed here for shopping, I felt so relaxed that I didn't want to go out anywhere. How comfortable this room is !
Be sure to book early for weekends; most days in December are already full.

今回プレミアルームに2泊しました。リビングとベッドルームが分かれていて、大きな窓からはどこまでも広がるJB view。電子レンジや洗濯乾燥機もあり、ものすごく快適でリラックスできました。水は廊下のウォーターステーションで自分で汲むエコフレンドリー。
プレミアルームに宿泊すると、エグゼクティブラウンジも利用でき、朝食はビュッフェの他、アラカルトメニューも。買い物目当てでここに宿泊したとしても、どこにも出かけたくなくなるほど寛げました。
週末の予約はお早めに。12月はすでにほとんどの日が満室です。

It has been a long time since I stayed at the Renaissance Johor Bahru, a cozy and truly relaxing hotel. This time, they upgraded me to a pool terrace room.
A Renaissance specialty? s welcome message on the mirror, the welcome amenity of three sophisticated, creative, and delicious bottled salsas and mini cones, and the heartwarming hospitality with fresh presentation every time. The rooms are very clean and the staff is hospitable. The hotel is neither too dignified nor too casual, but rather comfortable with just the right amount of kindness and just the right amount of warmth.
The omelette at breakfast was creamy, rich, and very tasty.
I was also reminded that the location is very convenient for getting around by Grab, with easy access to JB Town and to the Austin and Molek areas.

居心地良く、心からリラックスできるホテル、ルネッサンスジョホールバルに久々の宿泊。今回はプールテラスルームにアップグレードしてくださいました。
ルネッサンス名物？の鏡へのウェルカムメッセージ、洗練されたクリエイティブでおいしい3種の瓶入りサルサとミニコーンのウェルカムアメニティ、毎回新鮮な演出に心温まるおもてなし。部屋はとても清潔で、スタッフもホスピタリティにあふれています。凛としすぎているわけでもなく、カジュアル過ぎることもなく、ほどよい優しさ、ほどよい温かさがなんとも心地よいホテル。
朝食のオムレツがトロトロクリーミーで濃厚で、とても美味しかったです。
また、JBタウンにも、オースティンやモレックエリアへもアクセスがよく、グラブで移動するのにとても便利な立地だと再認識しました。

Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel @ Permas Jaya, Johor
It has been a long time since I stayed at the Renaissance Johor Bahru, a cozy and truly relaxing hotel. This time, they upgraded me to a pool terrace room.
A Renaissance specialty? s welcome message on the mirror, the welcome amenity of three sophisticated, creative, and delicious bottled salsas and mini cones, and the heartwarming hospitality with fresh presentation every time. The rooms are very clean and the staff is hospitable. The hotel is neither too dignified nor too casual, but rather comfortable with just the right amount of kindness and just the right amount of warmth.
The omelette at breakfast was creamy, rich, and very tasty.
I was also reminded that the location is very convenient for getting around by Grab, with easy access to JB Town and to the Austin and Molek areas.

居心地良く、心からリラックスできるホテル、ルネッサンスジョホールバルに久々の宿泊。今回はプールテラスルームにアップグレードしてくださいました。
ルネッサンス名物？の鏡へのウェルカムメッセージ、洗練されたクリエイティブでおいしい3種の瓶入りサルサとミニコーンのウェルカムアメニティ、毎回新鮮な演出に心温まるおもてなし。部屋はとても清潔で、スタッフもホスピタリティにあふれています。凛としすぎているわけでもなく、カジュアル過ぎることもなく、ほどよい優しさ、ほどよい温かさがなんとも心地よいホテル。
朝食のオムレツがトロトロクリーミーで濃厚で、とても美味しかったです。
また、JBタウンにも、オースティンやモレックエリアへもアクセスがよく、グラブで移動するのにとても便利な立地だと再認識しました。

When I heard that Park Hyatt Tokyo's Executive Pastry Chef Julien Perrinet and Grand Hyatt KL's Chef Low Kin Kang were collaborating, I Must Go !
The theme of this afternoon tea is the blooming gardens of the Grand Hyatt.
It was so beautiful, delicious, fulfilling and wonderful.
THIRTY8 boasts a dynamic panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur as the backdrop for a menu that incorporates sustainability and locally sourced ingredients.
The savory dishes are like a course lunch, including oriental steamed fish, deep-fried dishes, and the exquisite white corn steamed egg custard. The 13 items are a perfect combination of the best, including delicate Japanese feeling cakes and ice cream to finish. Drinks are refill free, so you can get a very good value for your money.
I went on a weekday during lunch time and it was extremely crowded.
Highly recommended.

セイボリーはオリエンタルな蒸し魚や揚げ物、絶品のホワイトコーンの茶碗蒸しも入ってコースランチのよう。繊細な和も感じるケーキや、締めのアイスクリームまで、絶品揃いの13品。ドリンクはリフィルフリーでお得感もあります。
平日ランチの時間に行きましたが、ものすごく混んでいました。とてもオススメです。

Fabulous Sunday Brunch at Michelin Selected restaurant: The Brasserie at St.Regis Kuala Lumpur.
This is the second time I have visited since this new Sunday brunch started in May.
Very elegant. Great time starting with an aperitif in the Astor Bar before the buffet time and ending with beautiful desserts. There is also live music. (Today it was violin.)
The emphasis is on quality rather than number of items. Although it is a buffet, you can enjoy it like a superb course, and the fullness is amazing. Highly recommended！Today they gave us Honey souvenir too!
