I stayed here for one night after a trip abroad. It’s close to the airport and offers a shuttle bus service. It’s a minimalist, simple boutique hotel with plenty of communal spaces—including a gym, kitchen, playroom and laundry facilities—making it suitable for longer stays. There’s a convenience store within the hotel, and the surrounding area boasts local restaurants and fast-food outlets, allowing you to soak up the authentic atmosphere of suburban Malaysia.
Whilst airport hotels often have cramped rooms, this one is simple yet spacious. It is also very clean. It adopts an eco-friendly approach, with guests fetching water from a dispenser in the corridor. You can enjoy the breakfast buffet for RM15 and a lunch set for RM12.90 at very reasonable prices.

このホテルを一言で言うと、「トランジットを、ライフスタイルに変える場所。」
海外旅行の後、一泊しました。空港に近く、シャトルバンでの送迎もあります。ジム、キッチン、プレイルーム、ランドリーなど共有スペースが豊富で長期滞在もできる、ミニマムシンプルなブティックホテル。ホテル内にはコンビニがあり、周辺にはローカルレストランもファーストフード店もあり、ちょっと郊外のマレーシアの雰囲気そのものを感じられます。
空港ホテルというと部屋が狭いところが多いですが、シンプルな分ゆったりスペースがあります。そしてとても清潔。水は廊下のディスペンサーにとりに行くエコスタイル。朝食ビュッフェRM15、ランチセットRM12.9と、お手頃な価格で楽しめます。

It’s one of the nicest brunch !
L Èden is a wood-fired café-restaurant. Located about a 10-minute walk from Ampang Park Station, it’s a standalone restaurant with a spacious garden.
I stopped by for a stroll from home, and so many customers were pouring in that I wondered if there was some kind of event going on.
A live band was performing on the second floor facing the outdoors, and many people were enjoying their meals in the garden. I ate inside, but the greenery visible through the windows was beautiful, and the delicious coffee and onion gratin soup loaded with cheese were fantastic. The brunch menu offers everything from light granola to hearty big breakfast options, and the desserts are tempting as well. It seems they also have a pasta menu available after noon.
It was a wonderful brunch—delicious, comfortable, and it really gave me that vacation vibe.

L Èdenは薪焼きコンセプトのカフェレストラン。Ampang Park駅から徒歩10分程度の場所で、広い庭付きの一軒家レストランです。
自宅から散歩がてら来てみましたが、続々とお客が入っていくので、イベントでもあるのかと思ったくらいです。
2階から外に向かって生バンドの演奏もあり、庭で食事を楽しむ方もたくさん。室内でいただきましたが、窓から見える緑も美しく、おいしいコーヒーとチーズたっぷりのオニオングラタンスープは最高。ブランチメニューは軽めのグラノーラからしっかりとしたビッグブレックファーストメニューがいくつもあり、デザートも魅力的。昼以降はパスタメニューもあるようです。
美味しくて心地よくて旅行気分も味わえる素敵なブランチでした。

The historic steakhouse "Smith & Wollensky," which opened in New York's Midtown in 1977, has opened at Suria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur!
Located near the Ramly Entrance, the floor is divided into a steakhouse and a dining room.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Each order comes with complimentary refills of coffee. The signature menu features American-style dishes, including novel items you can only find here in Malaysia.
I ordered biscuits served with rich cream gravy and a mango and sausage burrito. Both were substantial and exceptionally high-quality. The outstanding hospitality and hotel-like ambiance are wonderful, making it perfect for a power breakfast or weekend mornings.
They offer three types of locally exclusive homemade sauces; I especially thought the coconut-flavored sauce would make a great gift or souvenir.

濃厚なクリームグレイビーでいただくビスケット、マンゴーとソーセージのブリトーをオーダーしましたが、重厚感がありとても上質。素晴らしすぎるホスピタリティとホテルライクな空間も素敵で、パワーブレックファーストや週末の朝にぴったり。
地域限定ホームメイドソースが3種あるのですが、とくにココナツ風味のソースが、ギフトやお土産にも良いと思いました。
ロンドン、台湾、ソウル、マニラ、クアラルンプールに次いで、東京銀座にも今年春にオープン予定だそうです。

We had dinner at TanBuri on the ground floor of Hyatt Centric KL.
This casual dining spot combines "tandoor-baked traditional South Asian cuisine over charcoal × Japanese rice bowl style." The concept is intriguing, and the massive tandoor oven prominently placed in the kitchen is impressive.
Authentic preparation delivers a truly authentic taste. The presentation is beautiful and modern. Prices are reasonable. When I ordered the butter naan, it came with hummus and eggplant dip for RM6, and I was surprised by the freshly made, authentic flavor. Enjoying tandoor dishes in a natural, modern, and relaxing interior is wonderful!
The soft-serve ice cream dessert is also a perfect way to finish. From 7:00 AM, you can easily enjoy a Malaysian-style breakfast.

ハイアットセントリックKLのG階にある「TanBuri」でディナーをしました。
ここは、「炭火で焼く南アジア伝統料理のタンドール×日本の丼ぶりスタイル」のカジュアルダイニング。コンセプトが面白いし、キッチンにどんと置かれたタンドールの窯がすごい。
本格製法でかなり本場の味。盛り付けは美しくモダンスタイル。価格はお手頃。バターナンをオーダーしたら、RM6でフムスとナスのディップ付き、作りたての本場の味が出てきて驚きました。タンドール料理をナチュラルでモダンな落ち着くインテリアの中でいただくのも素敵！
デザートのソフトクリームも締めによく合います。朝7時からはマレー式朝食を手軽にいただけます。

The ever-popular St. Giles Hotel in Johor Bahru is always bustling. This 4-star hotel, attached to Mid Valley Southkey, is hugely popular with Singaporeans who love shopping.
Not only is it convenient, but the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This time, I stayed in a Premier Room for two nights. It features a separate living area and bedroom, with large windows offering endless views of JB. Equipped with a microwave and washer-dryer, it was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Water is eco-friendly, with guests filling their own bottles at the hallway water station.
Staying in a Premier Room grants access to the Executive Lounge, which features massage chairs. The real draw is the option to order à la carte items alongside the buffet during cocktail hour and breakfast. The breakfast menu has expanded and become even more appealing.
It's perfect for those who want to avoid the bustle of the buffet in the main dining restaurant and enjoy a quiet, leisurely meal. Since it often fills up, I recommend booking early.

About a 70-minute drive from downtown KL. Suddenly appearing in a region of rolling fields is the 23-story KSL Esplanade Hotel. It also has a shopping mall, and right next to the lobby is a 7-Eleven. The clean rooms feature large windows offering 360-degree views.
The hot spring facility, "KSL San Onsen," is amazing! It features a lounge where you can enjoy tea and offers various massage packages. Relax and unwind in the large bath reminiscent of Japanese hot springs, with guests receiving a 50% discount on the bathing fee. There's also a private hot spring available for exclusive use.
The pool area looked fun, especially the kids' pool, which was bustling.
We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant & bar "Sora" on the 23rd floor. It offered a fantastic view and Japanese fusion cuisine. It's great that you can order these dishes via room service too.
This is a hotel I'd definitely revisit, especially for the hot springs.

KL市内から車で約70分。田畑が広がる地域に突如現れる23階建てのホテル「KSL Esplanade Hotel」。ショッピングモールも併設していて、ロビーすぐ横にはセブンイレブンも。清潔な部屋には大きな窓があり360度見渡せるビューがあります。
温泉施設の「KSL San Onsen」がすごい！お茶をいただけるラウンジやマッサージのプランもいろいろ。日本の温泉を思わせる大浴場でゆっくり疲れを取れて、宿泊客は入浴料が半額。さらに貸切のプライベート温泉もあります。
プールはキッズプールが楽しそう。賑わっていました。
ディナーは23階のルーフトップレストラン&バー「Sora」でいただきました。素晴らしいビューとジャパニーズヒュージョン料理。ルームサービスでもこれらの料理がオーダーできるのが良い。
温泉を目的に、またリピートしたいホテルです。

On this trip to Bangkok, I stayed at this hotel, which is quite conveniently located.
It is a few minutes' walk from Sala Daeng BTS station and Silom MRT station, a short distance from convenience stores, shopping malls, supermarkets, and Lumpini Park, and in an area with many Japanese restaurants and nightclubs.
I was surprised to hear that the Japanese staff is always available and that 60% of the guests are Japanese, even though it is an international hotel.
The hotel is said to have undergone a major renovation about 3 years ago, and the modern yet warm interior is very nice.
The rooms with mini-kitchens are great for cutting fruits you buy at street stalls or heating up prepared foods, and it is nice to be able to spend time as if you were living in Bangkok.
The bathtub and plenty of hot water was also truly relaxing.
The club lounge is stylish with a high ceiling. It is a very quiet space. I was able to make progress reading and working.
The TV channels and breakfast made me feel a lot of Japan in this hotel. It was a very comfortable stay.

今回のバンコク旅では、かなり便利な立地のこのホテルに宿泊しました。
BTS Sala Daeng 駅とMRT Silom 駅から徒歩で数分、コンビニやショッピングモール、スーパー、ルンピニ公園もすぐで、日本食レストランやナイトクラブも多いエリア。
日本語スタッフが常駐していて、インターナショナルホテルなのに日本人客が全体の6割と聞いて驚きました。
約3年前に大規模な改装をしてるそうで、モダンでありつつ暖かさを感じるインテリアはとても素敵。
ミニキッチン付きの部屋は、屋台などで買ってきたフルーツを切ったり、お惣菜を温めたりできて、バンコクに暮らすように過ごせるのはいいですね。
バスタブがあり、熱いお湯がたっぷり溜まるのも心からリラックスできました。
クラブラウンジは天井が高くおしゃれ。とても静かな空間で、読書や仕事をするのも捗りました。
テレビのチャンネルも、朝食も、日本をたくさん感じるホテルでした。とても快適な滞在でした。

今回のバンコク旅では、かなり便利な立地のこのホテルに宿泊しました。
BTS Sala Daeng 駅とMRT Silom 駅から徒歩で数分、コンビニやショッピングモール、スーパー、ルンピニ公園もすぐで、日本食レストランやナイトクラブも多いエリア。
日本語スタッフが常駐していて、インターナショナルホテルなのに日本人客が全体の6割と聞いて驚きました。
約3年前に大規模な改装をしてるそうで、モダンでありつつ暖かさを感じるインテリアはとても素敵。
ミニキッチン付きの部屋は、屋台などで買ってきたフルーツを切ったり、お惣菜を温めたりできて、バンコクに暮らすように過ごせるのはいいですね。
バスタブがあり、熱いお湯がたっぷり溜まるのも心からリラックスできました。
クラブラウンジは天井が高くおしゃれ。とても静かな空間で、読書や仕事をするのも捗りました。
テレビのチャンネルも、朝食も、日本をたくさん感じるホテルでした。とても快適な滞在でした。

The Ooak Suites by Bamboo Hospitality @ 163 Mall, Mont Kiara, KL
This is a serviced apartment where you can stay as if you were living in Mont Kiara, KL.
The room is spacious and very simple, abd the big plus is that they are equipped with a large refrigerator, washer/dryer, kitchen, and have a large bathtub.
And above all, it is too convenient that it is directly connected to 163 Mall, which has many stylish cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. The mall was crowded with people even around 9 pm.
I stayed at another serviced apartment managed by Bamboo Hospitality about a month ago and found it very comfortable, so I stayed at The OOAK this time.
As a hotel stayer, I like the fact that it is not just an air B&B, but that there are staff at the reception to check in and help you if you have any problems, just like in a hotel.

広くてとてもシンプルだけど、大きな冷蔵庫や洗濯乾燥機、キッチンが備わっていて、大きなバスタブ付きというのは大きなポイント。
そしてなによりも、おしゃれでたくさんのカフェやレストラン、スーパーも入る163モール直結というのは便利すぎる。モールは夜21時ごろでも多くの人で賑わっていました。
1ヶ月ほど前に、bamboo hospitality の管理する別のサービスアパートメントでステイケーションして、とても快適だったので今回はこちらのThe OOAKに宿泊しました。
ホテルステイ派の私としては、ただのAir B&Bではなくて、レセプションにスタッフがいて、ホテルと同じようにチェックインしたり、困った時に対応してもらえるのがとても良い。

Stayed at the Renaissance Johor Bahru for the first time in about a year. The hotel is always cozy and truly relaxing.
This time my room was upgraded to a suite.
This suite, with a bathtub next to the window, the end of room number 02, is the best!
For breakfast, the buffet restaurant is very good with a large variety of items, but this time I had a leisurely breakfast at the Club Lounge. The steak & eggs and pancakes from the a la carte menu, which you can order, were both perfectly delicious. The hotel is always full of hearty hospitality.

約1年ぶりに、ルネッサンスジョホールバルに宿泊。常に居心地良く、心からリラックスできるホテルです。
今回はスイートルームにアップグレード。
この、窓の横にバスタブがある、部屋番号末尾02のスイートルームが最高！
朝食は、ビュッフェレストランも品数が多く、とてもよいですが、今回はクラブラウンジでゆっくりいただきました。オーダーできるアラカルトメニューの、ステーキ&エッグ、パンケーキ、どちらも完璧においしかったです。いつでもハートフルなおもてなしを感じるホテル。
