Thistle Johor Bahru Hotel’s CNY2022 has Buffet and Set menu.
My photos are based Buffet on 31st Jan dinner time. But actually you will enjoy more dishes!
Fresh, chunky slipper lobster and other cold seafood, a beautiful and opulent BBQ section, Peking duck and whole baked salmon, a wide variety of main dishes, and (surprisingly) the most popular dish for us was an ingenious one: stuffed squid in a Nyonya curry.
The flamboyance of the dish and the deliciousness of the flavours were a perfect match.

1/31の夜のディナーメニューを基本とした料理をいただきましたが、実際はこれよりも多くのお料理が並ぶとのこと。
新鮮で身の詰まったスリッパロブスターなどの冷製シーフード、美しく豪勢なBBQコーナー、北京ダックに丸ごとベイクドサーモン、バラエティ豊かなメインディッシュ、そして(意外なことに)、私たちにとって1番人気の料理は、工夫を凝らした料理: 詰め物が入ったイカのニョニャカレー。
全体的に、お料理は、見た目の華やかさと味のおいしさがちゃんとマッチしていました。オススメ。

New hotel opened in Nov 2021.
The location is shop lot area in Desaru town, 10min drive from Desaru beach.
They have free shuttle bus every 30min to Beach on weekends, so I enjoyed morning walk at Westin’s private beach.
Room size is big. Price is affordable. International class hospitality.
So when I want to stay around RM200-400 per night in Desaru, I will choose here every time.
During Chinese New Year term, they have Buffet dinner (Buy 1 Free 1 !).

2ヶ月前にデサルの街中にオープンしたホテル。ショップロットが連なる前にあります。
目の前にはスーパーやカフェ等。
ビーチやウォーターテーマパークから車で10分の距離。週末の朝と夕方は30分毎にビーチへのシャトルバスが出ていて、私も朝8時の最初のシャトルでWestinに送ってもらい、ビーチを散歩しました。(行きと帰りの時間を予約します。)
シンプルながら落ち着くセンスの良いホテル。部屋は広く、リーズナブルで快適、レストランThe Meshも雰囲気がいいので、この価格帯でデサルに宿泊する場合は、私はいつもここを選ぶと思います。
CNYシーズンはビュッフェディナーが楽しめます。

Conveniently located across from the pavilion.
I stayed Residence Suite room. It is comfortable room with kitchen.
Welcome Sweets( Madeleine) is tasty.
At this time( Oct 2021), the club lounge open only Thursday to Saturday. And on weekdays, there was a cocktail hour and served set menu at the beautiful bar.
I stayed in this hotel several times in 2021. This time, Breakfast buffet had most selections. A salad made from cut hydroponically grown leafy greens is very special!
Recently, catching Grab car in KL is very difficult. Sometimes it takes over 30min.
So convenient location is very important.

ブキビンタンの、パビリオンの向かいにある便利な立地。最近KLではGrabカーをつかまえるのがとても大変で、30分以上かかることも多いので、歩いて食事や買い物に行ける立地の良さはとても重要です。
レジデンススイートルームに宿泊しました。ウェルカムスイーツのマドレーヌがおいしいので嬉しい。広くてキッチンもあり快適。
2021年10月に宿泊したこの時は、クラブラウンジは木曜日から土曜日までしか開いていませんでした。平日は美しいバーでカクテルタイムがあり、セットメニューが提供されました。
このホテルには2021年に何度か宿泊しましたが、今回の朝食ビュッフェは、品数が最も充実していました。水耕栽培の葉物野菜をカットしたサラダは特別感があります。

Room is very clean, simple and comfortable. Usually when we stay at this category’s business hotel, room is very small. So just sleeping is good.
But this Holiday inn Express have many Suite rooms. ( all Suite room have Microwave !) They have 2 Bed room also. So you can relax even if you are in a hotel room during the day time.

ソフトオープン前日に、1ベッドスイートルームに宿泊しました。
1室RM100からというお手頃なビジネスホテルですが、広いロビーとレストランがあり、部屋も清潔で快適。全室朝食付き。
スイートルームも何部屋もあるようで、2ベッドスイートなら、RM240ほどで4人宿泊できるので、1人あたり朝食込みで1泊RM60(約1600円)！プールはありませんがジムとレストラン、ミーティングルーム、ランドリールームもあって便利。すべてのスイートルームには電子レンジがあります。
インターネット環境も問題なく、インターナショナルブランドなので安心して宿泊できて、出張やバジェット旅行者に最適。

Capri by Fraser is an apartment hotel that opened two years ago right next to the CIQ on the border with Singapore.
Have you ever been to Caprilicious, the restaurant here?
It's a simple and relaxing space. You will be comfortable feeling.
This is where the Pre-Christmas dinner buffet is held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The popular menu is classic roasted turkey and roasted beef, a freshly made pasta station and baked fish with butter lemon sauce.
Chef Mahathir's Mediterranean and Arabic dishes are also available and are very tasty and not found in other hotels.
I like this place because I feel that the food is heartwarming and tasty.
On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, more menu selection will come.

Of course, they have many selections of Non alcohol drinks. Fresh lemon squash is my favourite.
This Saturday Brunch is my super highly recommend ! I think it’s the best brunch in Johor now!

ラグジュアリーなアナンタラリゾートの海辺のレストランで、スパークリングワインやカクテル、ビール飲み放題！生牡蠣やホタテやロブスター料理、フォアグラやビーフやラムなど、どれでも何度でもオーダーし放題。
美しく新鮮で美味しいお料理がテーブルに運ばれてきます。コース料理で出るような洗練された料理たち。好みのメニューがたくさんありました。
この場所でこの価格はちょっと信じられないほどのお得さ。生牡蠣はミルキーでポン酢ソースとよく合い、カキフライもジューシーで絶品。フォアグラも完璧。食材も味もクオリティが高い！美食を思う存分楽しめます。

Desaru Coast Malaysia has been named one of “ THE WORLD’S GREATEST PLACES OF 2021 - 100 extraordinary destinations to explore” at TIME Magazine.
Westin Hotel at Desaru Coast have private beach. Beach is 30seconds walk from hotel.
I often stay here. The sea view and bathtub makes us relax. The Bed is one of the most comfortable bed of all the hotels in Johor. Breakfast buffet has many selections and tasty. Homemade Chocolates ( complimentary for Marriot Bonvoy Members) is so good!
Already many people booked this comfortable rooms. So it’s better to hurry up for weekends stay.

Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel @ Permas, Masai Johor
After 5months home quarantine, I spent really good time.
Clean and comfortable room, friendly staffs, A wide choice of breakfasts.
Already many regular guests were enjoying this 2nd home.
This time I stayed Executive Suite room with Living room, Bed room and bathtub.
There are bathtub at Suite rooms and Pool view rooms in this hotel.
Club lounge haven’t yet opened, so Bento box was served.
Pool and Gym opened already.

5ヶ月ぶりのただいま！
第二の家のように頻繁に宿泊しているルネッサンスホテル。久々の宿泊は本当に寛げました。
すでにビュッフェ朝食やジムやプールはオープンしています。週末に宿泊したので、多くの家族連れで賑わっていました。
クラブラウンジは10月15日からのオープン。オープン前だったので、部屋におつまみ弁当セットとドリンクが届けられました。
このホテルは、長期滞在のお客が常に一定数いるので、長いロックダウンの後でもお風呂の水が茶色いなどの不具合はないようです。
いつでも清潔で、スタッフもフレンドリー。心地よいホテルです。
宿泊したエグゼグティブスイートルームは、リビングと寝室が分かれていて、バスタブ付き。窓に面してバスタブがあるのは各階に1室ずつ。開放感があってオススメ。

Korean dishes and Tteokbokki buffet restaurant at Level2, Paradigm mall JB.
I ordered Grab Food Delivery.
Ganjang Chicken RM12.9 and Honey Butter Chicken RM12.9 are crispy boneless fried chicken with sweet sauce.
The volume is big.
Bulgogi Bap RM10.9 is not too sweet, good taste.
I think price is reasonable than other Korean fried chicken restaurants. Try !

パラダイムモールに4月にオープンしたトッポギビュッフェのお店。韓国フライドチキンやブルコギ丼、デザートなどもあったので、グラブデリバリーでオーダーしてみました。
ガンジャンチキンとハニーバターチキンはどちらも甘めですが、骨無しチキンでカリッと揚がっていて食べやすい。量もたっぷり。逆にブルコギ丼が想像より甘くなかったです。
全体的にすごくリーズナブルで満足感ありなす。
思いがけないたい焼きサービスも嬉しかった。
