ポンデロッサショップロットの端にできた和食のお店。ここをなんと形容したらいいのか。ぴったりな表し方は、「アメリカにあるヒュージョン寿司居酒屋」。
メニュー数はかなり多く、とんかつや鰹節から出汁をとったうどんや、定食や、お寿司、海鮮丼などなんでもあるのですが、盛り付けはお花をあしらったりとアメリカの和食屋さんっぽい。本格ドライエイジングのステーキや、週3回日本から輸入する季節の魚やまぐろなど、プロの食材の扱い方がしっかりできていて、素材を活かした高級食材ほど、おいしく完璧な調理でいただけます。
それもそのはず。オーナーシェフはアメリカの日本料理屋さんで10年以上の経験がありとのこと。
オーナーのパートナーがBzが大好きで、B’zの30周年記念アルバムからHinotori の名をつけたそう。1つの個室には彼らのCDのジャケットデザインがあしらわれ、店内に曲もかかっています。

パサマラムタマンスリアのRM1のフライドチキン屋さんが近くのショップロットに店を構えました。
毎日4時から夜遅くまで営業。驚くのはその値段。ロッロッ(串料理)はどれでも1串RM0.99。海老もイカも同プライス。60種くらいあるそう。好きなものを選んで、ボイルかフライか選んで調理してもらいます。フライはオリジナルかスパイシーの味付けがあり、そのままいただいてもおいしいですが、ディップソースが20種くらいあります。
フライドチキンはぜひ揚げたてをオーダーして！衣を薄くまぶして揚げているチキンは、日本の唐揚げと味も雰囲気も似ていて、飽きずにいつでも食べたい味。お弁当などにも使えます。タピオカティーなどもRM8で売っています。これはしっかり甘い。
