It's like being in France!
Chef KaHong of Atelier Binchotan has opened a new traditional French bistro in Sri Hartamas.
This cute restaurant with a fountain as its landmark offers casual yet authentic bistro cuisine.
The dinner menu features bistro classics such as frog legs and ris de veau ( sweetbread). Lunch is very reasonably priced at RM69 for two courses, RM89 for three courses, and a choice of beef dishes for an additional RM50, and the same menu as in the evening is also available.
I had the beet and burrata salad, pepper filet steak (this is a very French steak!), and an apple tart, which was very tasty. Coffee and a delicious sourdough is also included.
In KL today, French lunch courses are all over the RM150+ budget, but I hope that more casual, authentic restaurants like this will become popular and increase in number.

まるでフランスにいるかのよう！
Atelier Binchotan のシェフKaHongによる伝統的なフレンチビストロがSri Hartamas にニューオープン。
噴水が目印のかわいらしい店で、カジュアルで本格的なビストロ料理がいただけます。
ディナーメニューには、カエルの脚やリードヴォーなど、これぞビストロというクラシックな料理たち。ランチタイムはとてもお手頃で、2コースRM69、3コースRM89、牛肉料理はプラスRM50で選べて、夜と同じメニューもあります。ビーツとブッラータのサラダ、ペッパーフィレステーキ(これぞフランスのステーキ！)、アップルタルトをいただきましたが、とても美味しかったです。コーヒーと美味しいサワードゥが付くのも嬉しい。
現在のKLでは、フレンチのランチコースは予算RM150以上のお店ばかりですが、こういうカジュアルで本格派のレストランが流行って増えてくれるといいなと思います。

The Ritz-Carlton's newly revamped Afternoon Tea.
Classic and authentic afternoon tea served in the spacious Lobby Lounge by guest pastry chefs HOSS and ZAHRA from L'NOP.
The experience of choosing from 31 different teas, each with its own aroma to compare and choose from is wonderful.
The scones, finger sandwiches, quiches, and cakes are all of high quality and delicious, and since you can enjoy them from 12 noon, it is a very good alternative to lunch. They pour hot water into the teapot several times.
Also, if you order by yourself alone, they offer half the quantity for half the price.
Elegant and fine quality afternoon.

31種類のお茶から、1人1種類、香りを比べながら飲むお茶を選ぶ経験は素敵。
スコーンもフィンガーサンドウィッチもキッシュもケーキも上質でおいしく、お昼12時から楽しめるので、ランチ代わりに利用できるのもとても良いです。ティーポットにお湯を何度も注いでくれます。
また、1人でオーダーすると、半分の価格で半分の量を提供してくれるのも嬉しいポイント。
エレガントで上質な昼下がり。

Beef Wellington and short rib stew, freshly made Blue River Prawn Masak Lemak, Whole steamed fish and chili crab, Three kinds of chicken rice, a variety of Malay dishes that the chef who cooked them knows how to prepare, French, Indian, Middle Eastern and sushi! A very enjoyable weekend buffet with more tempting dishes than you can eat.
I especially liked The fish dish with shrimp and scallops broth cream sauce and The gnocchi with king prawns and spinach.
The hotel's buffet also has an amazing selection of cheeses.
