I ordered Margherita Pizza ( 12 inch) RM32 . The chunky Neapolitan dough is the best when cooked over a wood fire. Now they have 14 kinds of pizza. I want to try more!
Steak + Egg ( include Coleslaw and Smokey fries) RM39 is grilled by Charcoal. You can choose from 8 different sauces. I chose the herb chimichurri sauce, which is authentic and wonderful.

パルマスジャヤの大上海の並び、ショップロットの左端角に5月にオープンした、バイカーコンセプトの西洋式& 地中海式レストラン。評判を聞いていて、やっと伺うことができました。
薪の火で石窯で焼くピザ、炭焼きグリル、パスタやミルクシェイクが楽しめるハラルのお店です。
ガスを使わず薪の火だけで焼き上げるナポリ風のピザは、もっちりしていて香ばしくて絶品。14種類もあるのでどれを選ぶか迷いそう。
マリネした後に炭火で焼くステーキは、完璧なミディアム具合。付け合わせのポテトやコールスローもおいしいし、選べるソースも8種類あります。アルゼンチンのパセリソース、チミチュリソースを選びましたが、これがまた本格的でとても美味しかったです。
ファミリーにも最適なおいしいお店。
炭焼きハンバーガーなども気になりますが、まずは必須オーダーはピザ！オススメ。

8種いただいたのですが、どれも食べるのが止まらなくなるほどのおいしさ。
甘さ控えめでまろやかで繊細、飽きずにいただけるおいしさ。
中でも、私のベスト3は、優しい烏龍茶風味が洗練されたチャコールウーロン(黒色)、小豆とお餅入りの抹茶(緑色)、つるんとした外見の中に、カスタード黄身餡の入った上海ゴールデンカスタードヨーク。
他にも、ロンガンとデーツや、ぎっしりナッツの伍仁など贈り物でも喜ばれそうです。
もちろん保存料や添加物不使用。
4つ購入するとキュートなピンクのボックス入り、2-3個の場合は紫色の缶入りになります。ピュアバターを使用したパイナップルタルトも軽くて甘さ控えめでとてもおいしい。

実は日本にも、銀座と新橋に店舗があり、この味を楽しめるんですよ。
100％天然素材で作られており、肉軟化剤、保存料、人工香料、人工着色料、MSGなどは一切使用しないというポリシーは、1933年の創業以来引き継がれているもの。
そして、このポリシーは月餅にも。
一切の添加物を使用せず、自然の材料から餡やペーストを作り仕上げた月餅。とても上品で素材の美味しさが伝わる味です。
私がいただいた、クラシックロータスシリーズは、最高級の蓮の実から作られた餡とメロンシードが使用されています。
低糖バージョンもありますが、普通のものでもかなり上品な甘さ。ソルティッドエッグは、程よい柔らかさもあり、塩辛すぎず、上品な餡にマッチしてエレガントな味わい。

Exhibition “14 Dynasties and a Region: The History and Culture of the Muslim World”

One of my favourite place in Malaysia is “ Islamic Arts Museum” in KL.
I don't know much about religion, but the tranquillity of this place and the beauty of Islamic design is inspiring no matter how many times I visit. I also love the Islamic design notebooks and other items sold in the museum shop.
Now, The touring exhibition is on show at the Tokyo National Museum, near Ueno station in Tokyo, Japan!
“This exhibition aims to introduce the rich cultural heritage of the Muslim world that spans over 1000 years following the spread of Islam from the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century. The rise and decline of fourteen major Muslim dynasties in both the east and west will be unfolded and recounted through an assemblage of more than 200 artefacts from the collection of the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia. “
My family went to the exhibition and sent me some photos, many of which I saw at the museum in KL.
I can't visit now to both KL and Tokyo. But I look forward to seeing these beautiful designs again!

マレーシアで大好きな場所のうちの1つ、クアラルンプールにあるイスラミックアートミュージアム。
私は宗教については詳しくないですが、とにかくここのイスラムデザインと展示物の美しさ、そして凛とした空間は、何度行っても飽きることがなく、ワクワクします。ミュージアムショップで売っているイスラムデザインのノートなども大好き。
現在、この美術館の巡回展「イスラーム王朝とムスリムの世界」が、東京上野の駅のそば、東京国立博物館で開催されています。会期は2022年2月まで。オンラインでの事前予約が必要なため、ゆっくりとみてまわることができます。
「本展は、7世紀にアラビア半島からイスラム教が広まって以来、1000年以上にわたるイスラム世界の豊かな文化遺産を紹介することを目的としています。東西14の主要なイスラム王朝の栄枯盛衰を、マレーシア・イスラム美術博物館が所蔵する200点以上の工芸品を用いて紹介します。」
家族が行って、写真を撮ってきてくれました。
クアラルンプールで見たことのある美しい工芸品が、東京に今あると思うと不思議な感じ。
今はクアラルンプールにも東京にも行けませんが、また訪れるのを楽しみにしています。

フランスから輸入した食材を使い、着色料、香料、添加物不使用。
良質なバターの産地で有名なブルターニュ産のバターやクリームを使用しています。
ブリタニークロワッサンボックスのクロワッサンは、本場フランスっぽいざっくりとした食感。バターのよい風味。キャラメルクロワッサンやパンオショコラが気に入りました。マッシュルームハムバゲットはランチにぴったり。
ケーキのセットでは、濃いめのクリームとザクザクのパイがおいしいナポリタン、いちごの甘酸っぱさとたっぷりのクリームのストロベリータルトがいい感じ。チョコムースのエレガントは、かなり甘さ控えめで食べやすい。フランスの街場のケーキ屋さんのような趣を感じることができます。
どちらのセットにもマドレーヌとティーバッグが入るのですが、このマドレーヌがとてもおいしい。しっとりしたバターの感じがいいです。

ブキインダに新しくオープンした焼き鳥ショップ。whatsappでオーダーするとデリバリーしてくれます。タウンエリアでも、RM50以降のオーダーで送料はRM5でした。
ローカライズされたタレは、ちょっとだけ甘めですが十分美味しくいただけます。
いろいろな種類の焼き鳥は1本RM3前後でリーズナブル。柔らかくてジューシーです。
うなぎの串焼きや揚げ物の串もあり、それらが日本米と海苔に乗ったお弁当もとてもお手頃。うなぎ弁当は4本の串がのってわずかRM19.9。ちょっとタレが多めな気がしますが、気軽に焼き鳥やうなぎを食べたい方にはよいお店。

“Purnama" by WVC Jazz Ensemble, a new album born from a journey of discovery of Malaysian roots.
He is undoubtedly one of the treasures in the Malaysian music world.
Mr. Tay Char Siang is a jazz pianist, composer, music director, writer and reader.
Jazz music will never be king in the world. But he is pursuing the excellence of Malaysian music, sharing it with others, and creating a culture that will last for generations to come.
His activities include not only holding regular concerts, but also touring the world to promote Malaysian jazz, teaching children about music in schools, organizing music festivals, talking about jazz on radio programs “听爵享受 (CityPlusFM)” and appearing on TED and in the Hollywood movie "Crazy Rich Asians. The scope of his activities continues to expand.
I attended the concert, and listen the music of his band, the WVC Jazz Ensemble, at an Art festival held at the Puteri Pacific Hotel in JB about three years ago and was struck by its excellence.
I came across his compositions on Shakespeare's poems and stories and became a complete fan.
And now, WVC has launched a new music album called "Purnama".
It features 12 pieces of good old Malaysian music from the 1930s-1970s, arranged in jazz. This is probably the first time these songs have been arranged for jazz.
Many Malaysian musicians were also passionate about this production.
”We realized that we didn't know much about our musical roots.
From around 2016 I embarked on a journey of discovery – to educate myself about our own musical inheritance.
This has also been a journey of enlightenment. “

recognising and respecting the good people of the past, and the gift of humane values they have left us, which offers us the hope – if not more than that – that another world is possible.”

Among the light rhythms and beautiful songs, the song that struck me the most and is my favorite is “Purnama”, a song about life and death.
The combination of the beautiful voice, theremin, and Debussy's masterpiece "Beau soir” is amazing!
I hope many people will try listening to it. It is also fun to compare it with the original piece.

マレーシアのルーツの発見の旅から生まれた新アルバム「Purnama」by WVC Jazz Ensemble
彼はマレーシアの音楽界において、間違いなく宝のうちの1人です。
ジャズミュージシャン、コンポーザー、文筆家、読書家のTay Char Siang氏。
ジャズミュージックは世の中で王道にはならないでしょう。ですが彼はマレーシアの音楽の素晴らしさを追求し、人々に伝え、後世にのこるカルチャーを生み出しています。
彼の活動は、定期的にコンサートを開催するだけでなく、世界で音楽ツアーをしてマレーシアジャズを伝えたり、学校で子供に音楽の素晴らしさを教えたり、ミュージックフェスティバルを主催したり、ラジオ番組でジャズを語る他、TEDやハリウッド映画「Crazy Rich Asians」にも出演。活動の枠は広がり続けています。
私は、彼の率いるバンド「WVC Jazz Ensemble」の音楽を、約3年前に、ジョホールのプテリパシフィックホテルで行われたジャズフェスティバルで聴いて、その素晴らしさに衝撃を受けました。
シェイクスピアの詩や物語、村上春樹の小説の世界などに曲をつけた彼の作品に出会い、完全にファンになりました。
そして、このたび、WVCから、新しいミュージックアルバム「Purnama」がローンチされました。「Purnama」とはマレー語で満月のことです。
1930-1970年代の、古き良きマレーシアの音楽、12曲が、ジャズにアレンジされています。おそらく、これらの曲がジャズにアレンジされたのは初でしょう。
多くのマレーシア人ミュージシャンも加わり、この制作に情熱を注ぎました。
“自分たちのルーツであるマレーシア音楽のことを意外とよく知らないということに気づき、2016年頃から、私は自分たちの音楽（＝マレーシア独自の音楽）の継承について自分自身を教育するために、発見の旅に出ました。これは悟りの旅でした。”

軽快なリズムの曲や美しい曲の中で、私が1番衝撃を受けた曲、好きな曲は、Purnama。生と死をテーマにした曲です。
美しい歌声と、テルミンと、ドビュッシーの名曲「Beau sour(美しき夕暮れ)」の組み合わせがすごい！
ぜひ多くの人に、聴いてみて欲しいです。

南洋式コピティアム。ジョホールジャヤの店舗が大人気で、いつも行列ができていた店。
MCO中のこの5月に、2店舗目がミッドバレー内、Village Grocer と同じ階にオープンしました。
WhatsAppでプレオーダーができるので、スーパーで買い物の後にピックアップできるよう指定しておけば便利。
メニューは他のコピティアムと同じようなのに、なぜそんな人気なのだろうと思ったら、食べるとすぐわかります。骨なしフライドチキンがたくさん入ったミーシャム、さっくりしてるのに中身がたっぷり詰まったエッグタルト、しっかり味がついていてライスだけでも美味しくいただける海南チキンライス。
また食べたくなるおいしさ。
