とてもシンプルで静か。私がリピートしているカフェの一つです。
コーヒー、ペストリー、パン、サンドウィッチなどがあり、ほとんどのパンや食べ物が自家製です。
海老カツサンドはとてもオススメ。自家製のパンに挟まれたエビカツはパティも自家製で、格別です。フィッシュサンドやスクランブルエッグサンドもとてもおいしいです。
もちろんコーヒーにもこだわっています。
右隣のワンタン麺屋さん(詳しくは後日書きます)もすごくおいしいのでハシゴもおすすめ。

The 29th of every month is Niku Day ! (in Japanese, 29’s pronouns is Niku= Meat).
It has been a while since I had dinner at Awagyu.
Awagyu is a restaurant specializing in wagyu beef that buys a whole cattle of halal-certified wagyu beef from Tokushima Prefecture.
The menu has recently been renewed and offers many attractive dishes such as easy-to-order set menus and yakiniku set menus for lunch.
The platter, which includes a total of 1 kg of 18 different A5 Wagyu beef parts, is sure to make the occasion more exciting.
I ordered the Raya Special Promo. The platter includes five different shoulder parts, totaling 300 grams. The thinly sliced Misuji meats are the best if you order the egg yolk sauce.
Today I got chopped wasabi greens, which was a very good condiment.
Not only is the food delicious, but the hospitality is always excellent.

毎月29日はにくの日！久々にAwagyuでディナーしました。
徳島県からハラル認証付きの和牛を一頭買いしている和牛専門レストラン「阿波牛」。
最近メニューもリニューアルして、オーダーしやすいセットメニューや、ランチの焼肉定食など魅力的なメニューがたくさん。
18種類のA5和牛の部位が合計1kg入った盛り合わせは、場が盛り上がること間違いなし。
私はRayaスペシャルプロモをオーダーしました。肩の部位が5種、計300gの盛り合わせ。薄切りのミスジは卵黄のタレをオーダーすれば最強。
今日は刻みわさび菜をいただき、とてもよい薬味でした。
おいしいのはもちろん、いつもホスピタリティも素晴らしい。

I attended culinary school’s lunch event.
Teacher and Students cooked 5 dishes for us, we enjoyed.
The Salmon Wellington was a thin pie encased in juicy salmon and spinach duxelles. The pie was not too overpowering and the sour sauce matched well with the taste of a fine restaurant.
The Earl Grey Berry Mousse also had a good balance of sweet and sour.
It is nice to be able to make such an authentic dish.
Credo F&B Academy opened around 1 years ago. They teach mainly Western cuisine, Pastry and bakery.
There is internship program to restaurants.
Of the many culinary schools in JB, this school is notable for its ability to offer tailor-made lessons.
They will suggest best classes plan depends on your require, schedule and budget.

今日は料理学校のランチイベントに招待いただきました。
先生と生徒が5種の料理を作ってくださり、美味しくいただきました。
サーモンウェリントンは、薄いパイにジューシーなサーモンとほうれん草のデュクセルが包まれています。パイの存在感が強過ぎず、酸味のあるソースもよく合って高級レストランの味でした。
アールグレイベリーのムースも甘さと酸味のバランスがよく、とても美味しかったです。
このような本格的な料理が作れるようになるのは良いですね。
クレドF&Bアカデミーは、約1年前に開校しました。西洋料理、ケーキ、ベーカリーを中心に教えています。
レストランへのインターンシッププログラムもあります。
JBにある多くの料理学校の中で、この学校の特筆すべきことは「オーダーメイドレッスンができること」です。

My friend introduced me, I attended this event.
Grand Straits Garden, a long-established seafood Chinese restaurant that relocated and opened about a month ago in Legend Park, which is located in the heart of the city but is still a hidden gem.
This is a truly luxurious event where you can enjoy delicious Chinese food and listen to a performance by pianist Kok Kee Boon in this one-of-a-kind space.
The beautiful tiffins on display and for sale were made by the NGO Jeiwa.
Since its establishment in October 2015, the NGO, known as JEIWA, which stands for the Johor Empowerment of Intellectual Women Association, has been working to help DV victims and women in need of support regain their confidence and develop the skills to contribute to their communities again.
The NGO paints and sells tiffins as part of its activities. (Currently 60 people are making them.)
In addition to this, JEIWA is continuously involved in charity and various projects in which women are active, and JEIWA is now a permanent member and presenter at the World Women's Conference, an annual international-level event.
Ina Fadilah, the president of JEIWA, is a friendly, passionate, charming, and attractive woman who told us that "it is all about relationships.”
I was surprised to learn that she is the portrait on the packaging of Hershey's chocolates, a symbol of a wonderful Malaysian woman.
Her dream for the near future is to operate a glamping resort as Jeiwa and offer a nice, traditional, and sustainable stay by reducing waste with her own products such as Tiffin.
The venue for this event was a unique space in JB. I quite like the chaotic beauty of this place.
All the murals and paintings were painted by owner Bruce Lee during the Corona period. The space is a mix of Western and Chinese, classic and modern, gorgeous and chic, and everything else is "in my head," he says.
Chinese food here is wonderful!

友人の紹介により、このプライベートチャリティーイベントに招待いただきました。
街の中心部にありつつ穴場なLegend Parkの中に、1ヶ月ほど前に移転オープンした老舗のシーフード中華レストラン「Grand Straits Garden」。その唯一無二な空間で、おいしい中華をいただきながら、ピアニストのKok Kee Boon氏による演奏を聴くというなんとも贅沢なイベント。
展示販売された美しいティフィンの数々は、NGOのJeiwaによるもの。
2015年10月の設立以来、JEIWA（Johor Empowerment of Intellectual Women Associationの略称）として知られるこのNGOは、DV被害者や支援が必要な女性が自信を取り戻し、再び地域社会に貢献できるスキルを身につけるための活動として、ティフィンの絵付けをし、販売しています。(現在60名が制作しているそう。)
それ以外にも継続的にチャリティーや女性が活躍するさまざまなプロジェクトに取り組んでおり、今ではJEIWAは、毎年国際レベルのイベントである「世界女性会議」の常任メンバーであり、プレゼンターを務めています。
代表のIna Fadilah 氏は、気さくでパッションに溢れ、チャーミングで魅力的な女性で、「すべて人との関わりが大事だ」と話してくれました。
素敵なマレーシアの女性の象徴として、ハーシーズチョコレートのパッケージにも描かれている肖像画か彼女だと知って驚きました。
近い将来の夢は、Jeiwaとしてグランピングリゾートを運営し、Tiffin等の自社製品によって、素敵で伝統的、かつ、ごみの削減によって持続可能なステイを提供したいそうです。
今回のイベントの会場は、JBで唯一無二の空間でした。私はこのカオスな感じな美しさがかなり好きです。
壁画や絵などは全て、オーナーのBruce Lee氏がコロナの時期に描いたそう。西洋風、中華風、クラシックだったりモダンだったりゴージャスやシックや、全てがミックスされた空間は、「僕の頭の中」だそうです。
ここでいただく中華料理って素敵！

I often go to Marina Bay Sands outlet or here. Singapore friend told me that this Swissotel hotel outlet is not too crowded, can relax so much.
It’s near City Hall station, very convenient.
My son and I really like TWG’s “ Crab & Prawn Club Sandwich “ So sometimes we come to Singapore for only this menu !
Their all food menu include Tea infused sauce or topping etc. Elegant aroma and taste is so good. Of course Tea and salon’s environment is nice. I will repeat again and again.

シンガポールにはTWG Tea Salonが6店舗あるようです。
私はマリーナベイサンズ内のサロンか、ここに来ることが多いです。このSwissotel hotelのサロンはあまり混雑していなくて穴場だと、以前、シンガポール在住の友人が教えてくれました。確かにいつも並ぶことなく、シティホール駅に直結なので、とても便利です。
息子と私はTWGの "Crab & Prawn Club Sandwich "がとても好きで、このメニューを食べるという目的だけで、シンガポールに来ることもよくあります。(マレーシアでも提供してほしい！探していますがこのメニューに出会ったことがありません。)
TWGのフードメニューには、ソースやトッピングなどですべてにお茶を使っていて、お茶の織りなす上品な香りと複雑な味わいは最高です。もちろんお茶自体やサロンの雰囲気もとても良いので、何度でもリピートします。
(コロナ後に、マカロンやアイスクリームが値上がりしてしまったのが悲しい。)

料理に定評があるそうで、この日も多くの人が訪れていました。
ロティチャナイやクイティアオゴレンのパフォーマンスが、お客を楽しませる気遣いもあり素晴らしい。シェフの誇りを感じました。
料理もデザートもおいしかったです。特に、大きなピースのチキンサテーや、具沢山のトムヤム味のお鍋がよかったです。

クアラルンプール周辺にはル・メリディアンホテルが3つあります。
このホテルはPetaling Jayaにあり、大きなショッピングモールParadigm Mallの横にあります。とても便利です。ホテルから出てすぐ横にファミリーマートやカフェがあります。
内装はモダンでシック。屋上のスイミングプールは素晴らしい眺めです。エグゼクティブラウンジのカクテルタイムでは、夕食にも十分な食べ物が用意されていて、アイスクリームまであります！
快適な滞在ができるホテル。

It’s popular seafood Chinese restaurant in KK.
We went there on Monday night. I surprised it was super crowded. So many people enjoy fresh seafood!
There is a fish tank with the price per kilo, a sign with a menu picture next to it, and you give your table number and order on the spot.
There was also a gigantic Mantis prawn, the largest I have ever seen.
We ordered modestly (2 seafood items, vegetables, tofu, fried rice) for 5 people and ordered tea for a total of about RM130.
It was delicious!
The atmosphere is very local and popular, this place is a must when in Kota Kinabalu.

コタキナバルでとても人気のシーフードチャイニーズレストラン。
友人のShayneがオススメしてくれて、月曜夜に行きました。
屋外席まで人がたくさん。キロあたりの値段が書いてある水槽があり、横にメニュー写真の看板があり、テーブルナンバーを伝えて、その場で注文します。
みたこともないくらいな巨大なシャコもありました。5人で控えめに(シーフード2品、野菜、豆腐、チャーハン)注文して、お茶をオーダーして合計でRM130くらいでした。
おいしかった！
雰囲気がいかにもローカルの人気店で、ここはコタキナバルに来たら必須。

This is my 3rd stay here in 6 months.
I like this 5 star hotel overlooking the ocean, it is in a great location and is bright.
The view from the upper floors and the club lounge is of the ocean. In front of you is a series of markets, full of activity and fresh seafood.
Behind you are the old-fashioned kopitiam, bakeries and small stores.
This time we stayed in a low-rise seaview suite (4 nights). It is spacious, clean and comfortable.
Cocktail hour in the club lounge and a good selection of breakfast items. Food is delicious and hospitality is good.
The view of the ocean is so relaxing that you don't want to go out.
This will definitely become a regular stay in Kota Kinabalu.

上階やクラブラウンジからの景色は一面の海。目の前には市場が連なり、活気に溢れ、新鮮な海鮮料理がいただけます。
裏手には昔ながらのコピティアムやパン屋さんや小さなショップが立ち並びます。
今回は低層のシービュースイートに宿泊しました(4泊)。広くて清潔で快適。
クラブラウンジでのカクテルタイムや朝食の品揃えは十分。料理はとてもおいしく、ホスピタリティも良いです。海を眺めながらのんびりしていると、出かけたくなくなるほど。
ここはコタキナバルの定宿になること間違いなし。

My friend Ben recommended me here.
It’s famous for Tuaran Mee and Seafood Laksa.
Tuaran Mee is fried egg noodle from Sabah. The ingredients are Char Siew and rolled fish cake.
I felt it’s very flagrant. Very “Wok hei” taste. Looks normal fried noodle. But something deferent !
Fried fish with kicap( dark soy sauce) and garlic is very good.
Kolo Mee sauce is too sweet to us. But char siew is salty. So its good balance ? Noodle is little bit too soft.
Good experience Sabah foods !!

友人Ben が教えてくれた、トゥアランヌードルとラクサが有名なコピティアム。40年以上の歴史があるらしい。
トゥアランヌードルとは、サバ州のトゥアラン地区発祥の麺料理で、エッグヌードルのいわゆる焼きそば。チャーシューとフィッシュケーキのスライスと青菜が具になっていて、醤油味というより塩味っぽいのだけど、鍋で炒めた香ばしさがものすごく広がる感じがした。
白身の魚のフライは身が締まっていて、ガーリックとダークソイソースがよく合う。
コロミーは、ちょっと私たちには麺が柔らかすぎて、タレが甘すぎ。チャーシューなどが塩っぱいからバランスをとっているのかもしれない。
サバ州ならではの食事。

I like Teppan Squid and Prawn. It’s very fresh. KK-like menu.
Overall, Food taste is very good. Not too sweet, not too heavy.

ゴルフ場と海に挟まれたリゾート、ザ・パシフィック・ステラホテルのラマダンビュッフェ。
グランドボールルームに入ると、ビビッドでカラフルな装飾が出迎えてくれました。ラマダンカラーの緑色と、バティックのテーブルクロスの色の組み合わせがとてもキュートで、ファンタジーな感じ。ガザルの演奏も素敵です。
約300種類の料理があります。マレー料理、中華料理、ピザ、屋台料理などなど。
私はイカとエビの鉄板焼が気に入りました。とても新鮮で、JBやKLではあまり見ない種類のイカで、すごくコタキナバルっぽい。
全体的に、料理の味は甘すぎず、重すぎず、おいしかったです。
スタッフのホスピタリティも良く、席と席の間のスペースも十分にとられているので、ゆったりとできて良い気分。
ちょっと異国情緒を感じる素敵なラマダンビュッフェでした。

It’s one of the best location hotel. Only 1 minutes to Pavilion, connect to Starhill Gallery.
Simple and Elegant, room is comfortable.
Bath tub is deep. Similar Japanese style bath tub. I like it.
This hotel is suitable for adult. Because Executive lounge allow only adult ( over 12years old) to enter. I have a child. He cannot enter. But if I ask, staff delivery some foods to room immediately. It’s good hospitality.
Lounge is big space and very quiet.
I missed cocktail time. In tea time, they have 2 kinds of cake. ( if possible, want they add sandwich or savoury.)
Lounge provide continental breakfast. It’s simple selection. But Smoked salmon and Beef pastrami’s quality is so good. So very sufficient.
Dining restaurant “ Shook” provide American Breakfast buffet. The foods are very very normal. Not bad. But too standard. I surprised. If this level’s hotel, I want something special menu or unique menu.

KLのほとんどのマリオット系列のホテルに泊まっていますが、JWマリオットに宿泊したのは初でした。
ロケーションは最高。パビリオン前、スターヒルギャラリーに接続していて、ベストな立地。
エレガントでシンプルな部屋。ベッドも快適だし、バスタブは日本式のように長さはなく深いタイプ。
エグゼグティブラウンジは12歳未満は入れないので、大人向けのホテルです。
広くて静かなラウンジ。スタッフにお願いすると、食べ物をすぐに子供がいる部屋に運んでくれるのは、素晴らしいホスピタリティ。
カクテルタイムは出かけていて逃しましたが、ティータイムのフードはケーキ2種のみ。サンドウィッチかセイボリーも欲しいところ。朝食は一般のダイニングレストランでのビュッフェか、ラウンジでのコンチネンタルかを選べます。ラウンジでの品数は少ないですが、スモークサーモンとビーフパストラミにクオリティが高いのですごく満足。
ダイニングレストランでの朝食は、ひととおりのメニューがあり悪くはないのですが、あまりにも普通のメニューしかなくてびっくり。このクラスのホテルなら、ちょっとだけでも工夫した料理、変わった品揃えなどが欲しいものです。
