Modern, contemporary hotel. The location is very convenient. Near to Marina Bay, Bugis, Raffles Place and Suntec Convention Center.
Infinity pool at Level 18 has good view with comfortable breeze.
I stayed at Premier Room. It’s not so big space, but many mirrors let room looks wide and bright.
Afternoon tea and Cocktail time at Executive Lounge is really good. Wide food selection, taste is super good. And staff are very friendly. We could enjoy so much by Good hospitality.
Breakfast also quite good. Delicious!
I think it’s wonderful hotel for adult.

モダンで現代的、ラグジュアリーなホテル。ロケーションは非常に便利。マリーナベイ、ブギス、ラッフルズプレイス、サンテックコンベンションセンターにも近いです。
18階のインフィニティプールは眺めがよく、風が心地よい。
私はプレミアルームに泊まりました。シンガポールらしく、それほど広くはありませんが、鏡がたくさんあるので、部屋が広く明るく見えます。
エグゼクティブラウンジのアフタヌーンティーとカクテルタイムは最高です。食べ物の種類も豊富で、味もとてもよかったです。サーモンやチーズなどの前菜系とデザートがとくに素晴らしい。スタッフもとてもフレンドリーで親切で、ずっと心地よく過ごすことができました。
朝食もかなりの品揃えでとても美味しいです。食べたいものを全て制覇できないほどにいろいろありました。
大人のための素晴らしいホテル。

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy, the MJCC2022 (Malaysia-Japan Cross-Cultural Integration Programme) was launched at Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, with Tourism Malaysia and Johor Tourism etc as collaborative partners.
Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan is a high education college by government. The school offers five specialisations, including tourism hospitality and mechanical engineering.
The students gave us a great experience this time with the aim of building further friendly relations and cooperation with Japan through mutual cultural exchange in the future.
The cultural exchange started with the Malaysians wearing Japanese clothes and the Japanese wearing Malaysian clothes. This alone is already a joy.
Some of our friends had made new Malay clothes for this event today.
Together with Director Ts. Noor. Aidi and Ts. HJ Hamdan, we watched traditional dances and martial arts, played games, coloured batiks and for Japanese culture, there was an origami corner.
The food experience was a lively and enjoyable event with a tete-a-tete demonstration, a comparison of Malaysian and Japanese Mochi, and other dishes such as nasi lemak, satay and roti chanai.
The cultural exchange will deepen mutual understanding and further strengthen the friendship and trust between the two countries.
I feel very happy to be a part of such a bridge between Malaysia and Japan.

ルックイースト政策40周年を記念して、Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan にて、MJCC2022 (マレーシア-日本 異文化統合プログラム)が発足し、マレーシア観光局やジョホール観光局をコラボレートパートナーとして、それを祝うイベントが、開催されました。
Politeknik Ibrahim Sultanは、公立の職業専門学校。ツーリズムホスピタリティや機械工学など、5つの専門技術を学べる学校です。
今後、相互に文化交流を通じて、日本と更なる友好関係、協力体制を築き上げていこうということで、今回、学生さんが素晴らしい体験をさせてくれました。
マレーシアの皆さんが日本の服を着て、日本人がマレーシアの服を着るところから、文化交流がはじまっていました。これだけでも、既にもう嬉しい。何人かの友人は、今日のこのイベントのためにマレー服を新調してくれていました。
Director のTs.Noor. Aidi 氏とTs. HJ Hamdan 氏と共に、伝統的なダンスや武術を観たり、ゲームやバティックの色付けをしたり、日本の文化としては折り紙のコーナーもありました。
食の体験ではテタレの実演や、マレーシアと日本のお餅の食べ比べ、その他、ナシレマやサテーやロティチャナイを振る舞っていただき、賑やかで楽しいイベントでした。
文化交流から、お互いの理解が深まり、さらなる友好関係と信頼がより強化されるでしょう。
このようなマレーシアと日本の橋渡しの一端を担えることは、とても幸せに思います。
素晴らしいイベントの開催と招待をありがとうございました。

かなりリーズナブルに、焼き肉と鍋と揚げ物などが食べ放題。

ですが一度は来てみる価値のあるお店。

The sea breeze is comfortable. Variety of Chinese dishes are very tasty.
Their Tower Beer is RM58 now.
I bought sparkling wine at Duty free shop and brought it. Wine Corkage fee is RM30/ bottle.( corkage fee: Whisky RM80/bottle, Shochu RM50/bottle.) Nice place for drinking people!

ジョホールバルの免税エリアZon内にある、おなじみのシーフードチャイニーズレストラン。
海風が心地よく、何を食べても美味しいお店。お酒が免税価格でいただけるので、飲み会に最適。現在はタワービールはRM58でした。
今回、対面の免税店でスパークリングワインを購入して持ち込みました。ワインの持ち込み料は1本あたりRM30。ウィスキーなどアルコール度数が高いお酒でも持ち込み料はRM80。お手軽。
午後2時からオープンしているので、週末の午後4時に伺いましたが、海の眺めや風が心地よく、店は空いていて、とても快適でした。

Let’s go to Central Market.
There is famous Curry rice stall in this market.
My 2 JB friends recommended me this stall. Their menu is only 2. Chicken curry rice RM7 and curry soup RM1.
It’s Mild and tasty! They prepared many takeaway order too.
Central Market sell many parts of pig. Something deferent from JB’s market.
Exotic !

「街を知りたければ台所へ行け。」
ということで、街の中心地にある市場に来てみました。
豚のいろんな部位を売っていて、エキゾチック。JBでは見られない光景。
ここに街で最も有名なチキンカレーライス屋さんの屋台があります。
2人の友人から薦められました。
しっとりと柔らかいチキンと、コクのあるマイルドなカレーはとても美味しかった。お持ち帰り用もたくさん包んでいました。

Authentic Korean Restaurant at Eco Palladium. They opened 6 months ago. But already many Korean and local regular customers come here.
We ordered 3 kinds of menu.
They are very good taste, big portion, and affordable.
Korean Army Stew is very rich, not sour, and good balance taste.
Next time, I want to try another menu and BBQ too. Will definitely come back again.

エコパラディウムに半年前にオープンした本格韓国レストラン。
すでにたくさんの韓国とローカルのお客が頻繁に訪れています。
焼肉をはじめ、鍋類などメニュー豊富で、1人でも楽しめるランチセットも多数。
今回3品をオーダーしてちょうどRM100くらいでした。3-4人でシェアする量。ビッグボリュームで味のバランスも良く、リーズナブル。いろんなメニューもまた試してみたい、おいしいお店。

I felt this was the most fantastic course I've had since it opened three and a half years ago.
“Initial” is evolving!
A modern contemporary Japanese restaurant using local ingredients and cooking methods.
Owner-chef Koh has worked at Noma in Copenhagen, which has been named the best restaurant in the world 4 times, and in Japan.
When he opened the restaurant, he said he wanted to offer dishes made with local ingredients, but at that time it was still a time when 'luxury course meals should use imported luxury ingredients'.
Now, three and a half years later, the trend is shifting to 'rediscovering the quality of local ingredients and cuisine'.
Reflecting this, this year's course was beautiful and tasty, with Chef Koh's signature dishes that others cannot imitate. The small starters in particular were excellent.
A course worth trying; 11 dishes for RM368++. Value for money.

6 pan seared cod and bake with banana leaf, capsicum tomato sauce, homemade bread crumbs, ginger gel , pickle onion and fennel salad
7 lime yogurt garnita and fresh grapefruit
8 slow cook new Zealand lamb rack coat with cheese herb crumbs, stew purple cabbage, mushroom puree and red wine sauce
9 homemade dark chocolate ice cream with baileys wine , caramel walnut, diplomat with Brandy, mix berry puree and chocolate tuile
10 Coconut mousse , dark chocolate shell, coconut desiccated, passionfruit gel and lime zest
11 almond flake cookie , panda and gula melaka cream , lime agar agar and gula melaka zest

3年半前のオープンから今までで、今回が1番素晴らしいコースだと感じた。
Initialは進化してる！
ローカル素材や調理法を使用したモダンコンテンポラリージャパニーズレストラン。
オーナーシェフKohは、世界一のレストランの名を4回も得ているコペンハーゲンの「Noma」や、日本でも働いたことのあるシェフ。(日本語堪能です。)
オープン時に、「ローカルの素材を使った料理を提供したい」と言っていましたが、その時はまだ「高級コース料理は輸入の豪華食材を使用すべき」という時代だった。
3年半後の今、トレンドは「ローカルの素材や料理の良さを再認識」に移りつつある。
それを反映した今回のコースは、美しくおいしく、他の人が真似できないシェフKohらしい料理になっていた。特に小さな前菜が素晴らしい。
試す価値のあるコース。11品でRM368++。お値打ちです。

After open, still 1 month. But their cake’s reputation is so good.
Must try “Black Rum Raisin Dark Chocolate Tart”.
“Pistachio Raspberry Tart” has good balance of richness and sour.
All cakes are less sweet and high quality.
Don’t miss Signature Carrot Cake too!

オースティンのショップロットに新しくオープンした雰囲気の良いカフェ。
こだわりのコーヒーとケーキを提供しています。
オープン後1ヶ月余りですが、すでにケーキはおいしいと評判。全てが甘さ控えめで、食感も良く、良い素材を使用していて、日本人好みの味だと思います。
みんなが大絶賛するのはブラックラムレーズンダークチョコレートタルト。
ラムの具合とチョコレートのビター具合が絶妙。
ピスタチオ好きには、たっぷりのピスタチオにラズベリーの酸味が良いタルトを。シフォンケーキはかなり甘さ控えめでふわふわです。隠れた名物はキャロットケーキ！
