The resort hotel is 15 minutes south of the airport and southeast of Phu Quoc."
The hotel is based on a fictional story, “ A Hotel renovated from University”by renowned Californian architect Bill Bensley.
The design is luxurious, yet playful in every detail. The study book you get at the beginning describes the entire resort. There are plenty of activities for both adults and children.
Everyone on staff is wonderful and full of hospitality.
The buildings, restaurants, etc., are all divided according to the category of the university's faculty, and I was in the Agriculture building. The decor in the elevator and in the rooms is related to the theme. The ceilings are very high, with large terraces and spectacular ocean views.
The beach at Emerald Bay, as the name suggests, is emerald green and the sand is pure white. It is breathtakingly beautiful.

私がこれまで宿泊したホテルで、ここは素敵なホテルベスト3に入ります！
泊まったらわかる。こんなホテルは、多くの人にとって唯一無二の経験になるでしょう。
空港から南に15分、フーコックの南東にあるリゾートホテル。”大学を改装したホテル”
という架空のストーリーに基づいて作られているのですが、これはカリフォルニア出身の著名な建築家Bill Bensleyによるもの。
ラグジュアリーでありながら、細部まで遊び心あふれるデザイン。最初にいただくStudy book にこのリゾート全体の説明が書いてあります。大人向けも子供向けもアクティビティがたくさんあります。
スタッフ誰もがホスピタリティに溢れていて素晴らしい。
宿泊する建物やレストラン等はすべて大学の学部のカテゴリーで分かれていて、私はAgriculture (農業)学部の建物でした。エレベーター内も部屋もテーマに関連したデコレーション。天井がすごく高くて、広いテラスと圧巻のオーシャンビュー。
エメラルドベイのビーチも名の通り、エメラルドグリーン色で砂は真っ白。息を呑む美しさです。

One hour north of Phu Quoc airport. The resort is located along the beach and next to Vin Wonders amusement park.
Eight-story building with rooms on all four sides surrounding the reception lobby. Large garden with restaurant and pool. No club lounge.
We stayed 2 nights in a senior suite with amusement park view. When you enter the room, the smell of lemongrass fills the air and you feel good. The classic decor is relaxing.
The oldness of the entire building and the old refrigerator is a concern. Also, many of the restaurant staff did not speak English when we asked about the food.
The quality and selection of breakfast is very good, with a nice Vietnamese lineup of fruit juices and jams. There is a free bus that goes around the Venice style town and theme parks every 30 minutes.

フーコックの空港から北に1時間。ビーチ沿いで遊園地のVin Wonders横のリゾート。
レセプションロビーを囲むように四方に部屋がある8階建て。広い庭にレストランとプールがあります。クラブラウンジはありません。
遊園地ビューのシニアスイートルームに2泊しました。部屋を入るとレモングラスの香りが満ちていていい気分。クラシックな内装は落ち着きます。
建物全体の古さ、冷蔵庫の古さなどは気になるところ。また、レストランのスタッフに料理について聞いても、英語が通じない人も多かったです。
朝食のクオリティと品揃えはとても良く、フルーツジュースやジャムがベトナムらしいラインナップで素敵。ベニス風の街やテーマパークを巡回する無料バスも30分ごとに出ていて便利。

One hour north of the airport in Phu Quoc, we stayed 3 nights in a large 5-star hotel run by VinGroup. They offer free transportation to and from the airport by reservation. It has a huge casino, a private beach on the property, and is located 5 minutes from Grand World, a Venice-like town, and a short distance from Safari World and amusement parks.
The rooms are old, but they have separate shower booths and bathtubs, balconies, and a good selection of breakfast items. Hospitality is good and it is really convenient to take a circular shuttle bus to wherever you want to go for free.
I thought this was worth about RM300 (9000Yen) including breakfast. This hotel is perfect for family stays or for those who want to visit all the casinos.
Room service prices are reasonable, and we ordered spring rolls and crab noodles, which were very good.

フーコックの空港から北に1時間。VinGroupの経営する大型5つ星ホテルに3泊しました。空港までは予約制で無料で送迎してくれます。巨大なカジノも併設していて、敷地内にプライベートビーチもあり、ベニスのような街並みのグランドワールドから5分、サファリワールドや遊園地からもすぐ近い立地です。
部屋は古めですが、独立したシャワーブースとバスタブ、バルコニーもあり、朝食の品揃えは豊富。ホスピタリティはよく、行きたいところに循環シャトルバスで無料で行けるのは本当に便利。
これで朝食込みで約RM300(¥9000)は価値があると思いました。ファミリーの滞在やカジノにいき尽くしたい方にぴったりのホテルです。
ルームサービスの価格はお手頃で、生春巻きやカニの麺をオーダーしましたが、とてもおいしかったです。

We are in Venice.
No, this is Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.
We came to Phu Quoc for the first time on vacation since the start of my son’s school holiday.
It is the last unexplored resort island in Vietnam, located off the coast of Cambodia, one hour by plane from Ho Chi Minh City. It takes 105 minutes from Kuala Lumpur by direct flight.
There are many super luxury resort hotels, the sea is so beautiful that you can snorkel, there are many huge theme parks, amusement parks, and safari parks, and there is a Vietnamese night market that looks fun!
This is a commercial center called Grand World, a colorful city with rows of stores and canals. Like Venice, no cars can pass through the city. Explore by tuk-tuk, rented motorcycle, or on foot. There are many restaurants, massages, and mini-marts, and there seems to be a fountain show at night. Free shuttle buses from nearby hotels run through here.
Today we will start enjoying Phu Quoc at a leisurely pace.

ベニスに来ました。いえいえ、ここはベトナムのフーコック島。
子供のスクールホリデーがスタートしたので、休暇ではじめてのフーコックに来ました。
ベトナム最後の秘境と言われるリゾートアイランドで、カンボジア沖合にあり、ホーチミンから飛行機で1時間。クアラルンプールからは直行便で105分。
超高級リゾートホテルもたくさんあり、シュノーケリングもできるくらい海が綺麗で、巨大なテーマパークや遊園地やサファリパークなどがたくさんあって、ベトナムらしいナイトマーケットもあって楽しそう！
ここはグランドワールドという商業施設で、お店が連なり、運河が通るカラフルな街。ベニスのように街中は車が通れません。トゥクトゥクやレンタルバイク、徒歩で散策します。たくさんのレストランやマッサージ、ミニマートがあり、夜には噴水のショーもあるようです。近隣のホテルからは無料巡回バスがここを通っています。
今日からフーコックをのんびり楽しみます。

Beautiful Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel.
Afternoon tea is so popular that all seats are filled with reservations on weekends.
During Ramadan, the lounge is open from 2pm to 10pm.
We visited for a late lunch.
The menu is creative and attractive. We ordered two kinds of sandwiches. The beef tenderloin cutlet sandwich with black truffle is juicy and tender to the point of overflowing with juices, while the lobster, caramelized onion and cheese sandwich is an interesting combination of tender sweetness served with tomato soup.
The delicate and beautiful sandwiches are like a part of a fine dining course. It was delicious and I wanted to try different items on the menu.
A very nice place with a relaxing atmosphere.

フォーシーズンズホテル内の美しいラウンジ。アフタヌーンティーが人気で、週末は予約で全席埋まってしまうほどです。
ラマダン中は、14時から22時までの営業時間。
遅いランチをしに伺いました。
クリエイティブで魅力的なメニューがたくさん。サンドウィッチを2種オーダーしました。牛ヒレカツのサンドウィッチブラックトリュフ添えは、肉汁が溢れるほどにジューシーで柔らかく、ロブスターとキャラメルオニオンとチーズのサンドウィッチは、トマトスープが添えられて、優しい甘みを感じる面白い組み合わせ。
繊細で美しいサンドイッチは、ファインダイニングのコースの一品のよう。おいしくて、いろいろなメニューを試してみたくなりました。
落ち着ける良い雰囲気でとても素敵な場所です。

This year, over the past two months since January 16, I have enjoyed 17 hotel Ramadan buffets, including previews. Perhaps this completes my Ramadan review for this year.
Wagyu beef dishes, which were a common highlight last year, are rarely seen this year, and shawarma, which was a trend last year, is now a staple, along with Kambing Gorek (whole roasted lamb); durian goreng is common and very popular in JB, but not so common in KL.
I think the trending dishes this year are tempoyak (fermented durian) dish and sambal petai as signature dishes at many hotels.
I think it's good to see a return to local, with many hotels digging deep to serve great local food, and a growing trend to focus on local ingredients.
Prices tend to get higher and higher each year, so hotels that use a lot of luxurious and high quality ingredients but offer a reasonable price are still likely to be more satisfying and attract people's attention. A hotel's Ramadan buffet where the chef's taste, skill and teamwork are evident. I look forward to experiencing the unique features of that hotel.
今年は、1月16日からこの2ヶ月間で、プレビューも含めると、17のホテルのラマダンビュッフェを楽しみました。たぶん私の今年のラマダンレビューはこれで完了したと思う。
去年、ハイライトとしてよく見かけた和牛料理は今年はほとんど見かけなくなり、去年のトレンドだったシャワルマはカンビンゴレック(ラムの丸焼き)と並ぶほど、今ではすっかり定番になりました。JBではドリアンゴレンをよく見かけるし大人気だけど、KLではあまり見かけない。
今年のトレンド料理としては、テンポヤック(ドリアンを発酵させた料理)や、サンバルペタイがシグネイチャーとして多くのホテルで出ていたと思います。
ローカル回帰で、ローカルの素晴らしい料理を深掘りして出すホテルも多く、食材も地元産にこだわる傾向が出てきたのは良いことだと思います。
価格は年々高くなってきている傾向にあるので、豪華な食材や質の高い食材を多く使っていても割安な価格設定をしているホテルは、やはり満足度が高く人々の注目も集めやすいです。シェフのセンスや技やチームワークが顕著に出るホテルのラマダンビュッフェ。そのホテルならではの特色を感じられることを楽しみにしています。

Dinner buffet at Hotel Stripes during Ramadan season.
Perfect for those who want to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere, the buffet consists of 7 different BBQ dishes as the main course, appetizers, side dishes, and desserts, which can be assembled and enjoyed like a course meal. During this season, you can also enjoy traditional Malaysian dishes such as satay and lemang.
The signature beef ribs were tender and exquisite with a tangy mild perchik sauce. The dessert croffle at the end of the meal is decorated with your choice of sauce or fruit. It was a very nice dinner in a beautiful setting, relaxing and reasonably priced.
After dinner, we moved upstairs to the poolside bar for cocktails and mocktails with a view of the KL Tower, and it was definitely a perfect evening.

おいしいものを落ち着いていただきたい人にぴったり。7種のBBQをメインとし、前菜とサイドディッシュ、デザートがあり、コース料理のように組み立てて楽しめるビュッフェ。この時期はサテーやルマンなどのマレーシアの伝統料理も楽しめます。
シグネイチャーのビーフリブは、柔らかくてピリ辛マイルドなペルチックソースが絶妙で、とても美味しかったです。締めのデザートのクロッフルにはお好みのソースやフルーツを飾って。美しい空間でゆったりと食事が楽しめて、手頃な価格でとても良いディナーでした。
食事の後は上階のプールサイドのバーに移動して、KLタワーを眺めながらカクテルやモクテルをいただいたら、完璧な夜になること間違いなし。
