Do you know this hidden resort with private beach ?
I first time to know!
It’s 90 min drive from JB. The location is south of Desaru. All Room is Sea View with Balcony. Around RM200 per night !
After passing through the toll at Desaru, drive for 30 minutes along a straight road in the palm palm palm, and suddenly this resort appears.
There is nothing around, and the ocean is right in front of you.
The rooms are comfortable as they have been renovated.
There is a large garden, a swimming pool, and a restaurant with lots of smiling staff. The omelettes baked by the head chef were fluffy and delicious.
They also have a water park and adventure park nearby.
A perfect place for a family vacation or a paradise escape from reality.
It was raining this time but would love to stay again on a sunny day.

たぶんほとんどの人が知らないでしょう。隠れリゾート！JBから車で90分。プライベートビーチ付き、全室シービュー、バルコニー付き。1室RM200代のリゾートホテル！
デサルの料金所を通ったあと、パームやしの中のまっすぐな道をひたすら30分運転すると、突如現れるこのリゾート。周りには何もなく、すぐ目の前は海。
リノベーションされているので部屋は快適。
広い庭もプールもあり、笑顔の素敵なスタッフのたくさんいるレストラン。ヘッドシェフの焼いてくれるオムレツは、ふわふわでおいしかった。
ウォーターパークやアドベンチャーパークも近くにあるそう。
家族旅行や現実逃避のパラダイスのためにぴったりの場所。
今回は雨でしたが、晴れている日にまた滞在したい。

Beautiful resort hotel having private beach.
After 2 years, I stayed here.
Their bathtub is big and deep. The Bed is one of the most comfortable bed of all the hotels in Johor.
This time, I first time stay at Garden View room. ViVid green garden let me relax.
About Buffet Breakfast, their food selection became more attractive than 2 years ago. Egg Benedict and Roasted beef will be one of “must eat dish”.
Recently, Desaru beach is very beautiful. White sand and No garbage.
This hotel will let you feel relax and resort feeling.

約2年ぶりに宿泊したウェスティンホテルデサルコースト。
人気で年々価格も上がって来ている上に満室になるのも早いので、週末の予約はお早めに。
全室大きくて深いバスタブとテラス付き。とても快適なベッド。
プライベートビーチはとても美しく、白い砂でゴミもほぼ落ちていません。
クラブラウンジはありませんが、マリオットボンヴォイの上位会員にはカクテルパーティーのお誘いがあります。(今回はラマダンビュッフェプレビューと時間が重なり、参加できませんでした。)
朝食のクオリティは以前よりさらに上がっていました。エッグベネディクトやローストビーフは必食。

お料理のバラエティが豊かで、とてもおいしくて、リーズナブルなお値段でとてもおすすめ。
Jaffery シェフとそのチームによるお料理は、地中海料理を中心として、インド料理、中華料理、中東料理、マレー料理と幅広い品揃えで、食べたいものが全て食べきれないほど。デザートまでちゃんとおいしいです。
白身魚のチミチュリバターソース、ガーリックシュリンプ、タンドリーチキン、シシカバブ、ラムのムサカなど、他のビュッフェにあまりないラインナップが嬉しい。
このビュッフェのためにデサルに来る価値があります。

I first time stayed here. It’s only 30 min from central of Kuala Lumpur. But it’s very resort feeling.
Big size swimming pool with waterfall and many activities for kids.

プトラジャヤの中では老舗の、巨大なクラシックリゾートホテル。
初めて泊まりました。クアラルンプール中心部からは30分程度の場所ですが、とてもリゾート感があります。
大きなプールには滝があり、バスケットゴールや卓球やバトミントンやダーツのスペースがあり、充実しています。
朝食のビュッフェの種類はとてもとても豊富。味も品質も良い。
部屋は古いですが、清潔です。
家族で泊まるにはとても良いホテル。
コストパフォーマンスは最高です。
遠くに旅行ができない時でも、ここで3泊くらいしたら、すごくリゾートに行った気分になれそう。

広大なレストランにたくさんのビュッフェ台。品揃えはものすごい。
和食コーナーにはお吸い物や茶碗蒸しや焼き魚もありました。
オムレツは上手に仕上げられ、デニッシュ類は可愛らしくデコレーション。

I attended the grand opening ceremony of Y Space, a cultural destination in a renovated historic building.
Ground floor is Bakery Cafe and Select Shop, Upstairs is Event spaces with beautiful water paintings by Johorean Artists.
So Amazing ! 120years historic bungalow has been serving as a residence, Russian restaurant, School, and now a curated creative space!
It’s packed with Each age, deferent People’s memories!!
I think Having such a cultural place is really good for Johor Bahru.
Speech by Datuk Bandar Johor Bahru, Think City, and Founders were very meaningful and interesting.

歴史的建造物を改装した文化施設、Yスペースのグランドオープニングセレモニーに参加しました。
1階はベーカリーカフェとセレクトショップ、2階はイベントスペースで、ジョホール出身のアーティストによる美しい水彩画が飾られています。
120年の歴史を持つ美しいバンガローは、時代の移り変わりによって住居、ロシア料理店、学校として利用され、現在はキュレーションされたクリエイティブなスペースとして利用されています。
120年前は個人宅として使われ、60年前はロシアレストラン、30年前はアートスクールだったのです。その時代の人によってここに異なる思い出があるということに、歴史の壮大さを感じます。
このような文化的な場所があることは、ジョホールバルにとって本当に素晴らしいこと。
Datuk Bandar Johor Bahru、Think City、そして創設者のスピーチはとても有意義で興味深いものでした。

My choice is this 5 star hotel facing the South China Sea.
It’s old ( open since 2005), big Resort hotel.
Location is convenient. Swimming pool is very big. Breakfast is tasty.
Room rate is affordable ( RM204-).
So it’s suitable for family vacation.
They don’t have any club lounge. Marriot Bonvoy (over platinum) member can get redeem card for 2 free drinks every day.

海に面した5つ星リゾートホテルのマリオットに5泊しました。
予約の際、価格の安さに驚きました。夜に到着すると、空港から近いものの辺りは暗く、大きくて古さのあるリゾートホテルだと思いましたが、朝になると窓からの景色は素晴らしい。かなり広いプールの奥には海が広がります。
シャワーブースはなく、バスタブにシャワーが付いているタイプ。クラブラウンジはありませんが、メンバーは毎日、ルームサービスやレストランで使えるドリンク2杯無料券がもらえます。
朝食はおいしく、レストランの外はプールが広がり、リゾート気分。
家族の休暇にはとてもよいホテルだと思いました。

The omelette was perfectly cooked, with a melting inside.

A large selection of dishes. Notable items on the menu include steamed cakoi with kaya jam and frozen yoghurt.
And, perhaps because of the French brand, I find the bread tasty in all Meridien hotels.

雰囲気をとるか、品数をとるか。個人的には、混みすぎないラウンジでの食事がより快適だと思いました。

15-minute drive from Kota Kinabalu Airport. Overlooking the sea, this 5-star hotel is in a prime location.
The view from the upper floors and club lounge is of the ocean. The sunsets from here and from the rooftop bar are also spectacular.
The market, seafood market and Filipino market are all in front of the hotel, which is very lively and offers fresh and tasty seafood dishes at extremely low prices.
We stayed in a suite this time (4 nights) and it was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The view of the sea changes with time and you never get tired of it, so much so that you want to stay in your room forever.
The cocktail hour selection in the club lounge was good and tasty.
Breakfast can be served either in the restaurant on the lobby floor or in the club lounge.
If I have require, The only thing is I want fresh juice at breakfast.

上階やクラブラウンジからの景色は一面の海。ここやルーフトップバーからの夕陽がまた素晴らしい。
目の前には市場、海鮮市場、フィリピーノマーケットが連なり、活気に溢れ、新鮮で美味い海鮮料理がものすごく安く食べることができます。
今回はスイートに宿泊しましたが(4泊)、広くて清潔で快適でした。
時間と共に変化する海の眺めは飽きることがなく、ずっと部屋にいたくなるほど。
クラブラウンジでのカクテルタイムの品揃えは良かったし、おいしかった。
朝食はロビー階のレストランかクラブラウンジ、どちらでも選べます。
唯一残念だったのは、朝食時にフレッシュジュースがなかったことくらい。

It has been a long time since I stayed at a hotel in Desaru.
The Four Points by Sheraton Desaru was also busy with many guests.
The rooms are spacious, simple and clean, minimalist but with an espresso machine in each room.
The swimming pool, gym and reserved games room are also popular.
The restaurant focuses on coffee, tea and cocktails.
It was just the night of a cocktail event, and the creative cocktails by guest mixologists and soothing music by a DJ attracted regular local customers as well as tourists.

久しぶりのデサルのホテル滞在。
フォーポインツバイシェラトンデサルもたくさんのお客で賑わっていました。
広くてシンプルで清潔な部屋、ミニマムだけどエスプレッソマシーンが各部屋にあり、ゆったりと過ごせます。
プールやジムや予約制のゲームルームも人気。
レストランではコーヒーや紅茶、カクテルにこだわっています。
ちょうどカクテルイベントが行われた夜でしたが、ゲストミクソロジストによるクリエイティブなカクテルとDJによる心地よい音楽は、観光客だけでなく、地元のレギュラーカスタマーをも魅了していました。

It’s like Tony himself.
Soft, Gently, and little bit witty.
Last year he made and presented me his Mooncake first time.
It was less less sweet, fresh and tasty.
This year, I can say. It’s More delicious!
“Purple potato Blueberry”is popular flavour of last year. Made with Japanese purple sweet potatoes and homemade blueberry sauce.
And this year’s new flavour is
“Earl Grey Lavender Cream Cheese”.
It’s so delicious! I really like it!
The home made custard is filled with Earl Grey tea leaves.
And then wrapped with salty cream cheese.
It’s very special.
All ingredients are No colouring, no flavouring, no preservatives. Using only Natural fruit and vegetable powders.

友人トニーの手作りスノースキン月餅。
トニー自身のような、優しくマイルドでウィットが効いた月餅。
かなり甘さ控えめでフレッシュな手作り月餅を去年はじめていただきましたが、今年のはさらにおいしいと断言できます！
去年から引き続き人気の「紫芋ブルーベリー」は、日本産紫芋と自家製ブルーベリーソースを使用。
もう一つの味は新商品で、「アールグレイラベンダークリームチーズ」。これがすごく美味しくて香り高くて大好き！
自家製カスタードにアールグレイの茶葉を入れ、塩気のあるクリームチーズを包んでいます。和菓子のような洋菓子のようなその中間のようなスペシャルな月餅。
アイシングもフィリングも全て手作りです。
無着色、無香料、無保存料。天然のフルーツと野菜のパウダーを使用。

Bun Cha is Hanoi’s traditional dish. It’s dipping rice noodle. The dipping sauce is sour and sweet, with Charcoal Grilled Pork Meats. We eat it with a plenty of Herb vegetables.
I haven’t yet tried this dish. So wanted to have and searched the restaurant.
This Bun Cha speciality shop is inside small street of Japan Town.
Packed with Many customers.
The more you eat, the more you like the taste. The fried spring rolls were also very tasty.

ブンチャーはハノイの伝統料理。ライスヌードルのつけ麺です。酸味と甘味のあるつけ汁に、炭火で焼いた豚肉が入り、たっぷりの香草野菜と一緒に食べます。
私はまだ食べたことがなくて、気になってお店を探しました。
ジャパンタウンの小さな通りにあるブンチャー専門店。
たくさんのお客さんで賑わっています。
食べれば食べるほどに好きになる味。揚げ春巻きもとても美味しかったです。
Bun Chaは約¥300、揚げ春巻き、海老かき揚げ、ビールはそれぞれ約¥90。
