A long established Italian restaurant. The team, led by owner-chef Hans Durst, has been serving Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in JB for 10 years. The restaurant is loved by many repeat customers.
For the first time in several years, I visited for a private Christmas party. As we walked upstairs to their private room, the centrepieces and ceiling decorations were gorgeous and beautiful, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The focaccia, olive oil and balsamic that was served to us first completely won us over (I want to buy some to take home!). The roasted turkey, stuffed with mushrooms and turkey toast, was moist and better than any turkey I've ever had. The best Turkey !
It was a reminder of the character of the old establishment and how good it still is.
Gianni's Pelangi is now accepting reservations for Christmas dinner courses (RM195++/pax) and A la carte dishes such as roasted turkey. (Order 3days in advance).
