Sakaba cuisine 酒場美食 @ Impian Emas, JB
Non Halal
Japanese restaurant opened in Feb 2021. So still new.
Local chef has over 10years Japanese cuisine experience in Singapore.
I'd heard good reputation about their ramen and reasonably priced rice bowls, but today was my first visit. And I like here!
The most popular dish is the tonkotsu ramen( Pork bone broth) , which is made by slowly simmering pork bones for 18 hours. It has an authentic taste and is full of collagen. The soup is rich and naturally sweet, with thin Kyushu-style noodles and large pieces of pork.
It will become a regular ramen in my family. It was delicious. You must try it!
The pork shogayaki (pork ginger) rice bowl is also a popular menu item. It's also a delicious. Big volume.
A la cart items such as gyoza and kakiage are also carefully prepared and affordable priced.
Kakuni(Char siew), Karaage(fried chicken) and curry are arranged to suit local tastes.
The drinks menu include Sours, beer and a little sake. It's not a place to go for a drink, but rather a casual place to eat.
