Do you know Borneo Market in Johor ?
My friend told me 2 places selling Borneo ingredients.
I totally didn’t know! So exciting! I want to buy Latok ( Sea Grapes), so I went to these 2 places. Unfortunately they don’t sell Latok the day. But there are so many special ingredients from Borneo!

1. Pasar Borneo @ Megan Ria, Masai, Johor
So interesting! Very Borneo feeling. We can get seasonal Borneo foods here.
And surrounding this market, there are many Sarawak & Sabah food restaurants.
I ate authentic Sarawak Kolo Mee!

2. Restoran Original Sarawak Kolo Mee @ Megah Ria, Masai, Johor
Authentic Sarawak Kolo Mee shop owned by Sarawakian.
It’s beside of Pasar Borneo. Yummy !

3. Pasar Muafakat Sabah Johor @ Seri Alam, JB
Sabah market. Clean place. But only 7,8 shops open. Some shops sell clothes. Around 5 shops sell charcoal grilled fish. We can Done-in here.

ジョホールの中のボルネオ！
友人が教えてくれて、初めて知りました！
ジョホールにボルネオ市場が2つあります。(2つとも日本人学校の方面。)
海ブドウを目当てに行きましたが、残念ながらどこにも売っていませんでした。時期によるのかな？
でも、JBの他の市場では見かけない食材がたくさん！山菜や天然のフルーツや筍など、季節の食材が購入できます。

Pasar Borneoでは食材を売っていて、周りにサバやサラワクの本場レストランがたくさんあります。
市場すぐ横のコロミー店で本格コロミーをいただきました。評判が高いようです。
ここから車で8分くらい移動すると、Pasar Muafakat Sabah という市場があります。
こちらは綺麗に整備されていましたが、開いている店が7、8軒しかなく寂しい感じ。
ほとんどの店が、食堂になっていて、炭火焼きの魚がいただけます。
ショーケースに入った魚の種類はあまり多くないのですが、すごくローカルな雰囲気を楽しめます。
