Free tasting of raw oysters, tuna, scallops and more at this event hosted by Jetro and Sendo Ichi! The event is held at Lalaport for 3 days only until this Sunday!
The Japanese Seafood Fest started with a 60kg tuna cutting show by Chef Otsuka of Sushi Yoshi.
This interactive event is designed to foster new knowledge about fresh seafood imported directly from Japan, and to reward participants for tasting it by answering a simple quiz.
You can also enjoy a sushi roll making workshop, a yukata dressing session, and delicious sashimi all for free, how wonderful.
Food exports from Japan to Malaysia have more than tripled in the past five years. We hope that everyone in Malaysia will come to love and become familiar with Japanese food and culture even more.

Sushi Yoshiの大塚シェフによる、60Kgのマグロの解体ショーから幕開けしたジャパニーズシーフードフェスト。
日本から直輸入される新鮮なシーフードについての新たな知識を育んでもらい、簡単なクイズに答えてご褒美に試食していただけるというインタラクティブなイベントです。
巻き寿司作りのワークショップや、浴衣着付けも楽しんでいただけて、おいしいお刺身も全て無料なんて素敵。
日本からマレーシアへの食品輸出額は、過去5年間で3倍以上に増加しているそう。マレーシアの皆さんに、さらに日本の食や文化を好きになって親しんでいただきたいです。
