It's been a while since I had really good nasi lemak and chendol! They are one of the best !
My friend Mike from Malacca owns Yalo Yalo Yum, a clean and bright restaurant located on Old Klang Road, where I had a nasi lemak party with friends.
The nasi lemak served with dry sambal and water spinach is Malacca style.
There are two types of sambal ( Sweet wet, and Spicy dry), you can pour as much sambal as you like on it.
The dry sambal is a perfect match for the rice cooked in flavorful coconut milk. In addition to fried chicken, there is a wide variety of side dishes, drinks, and desserts to choose from, making it hard to decide which to order.
A great place to have a nasi lemak party. The food was very tasty. Cendol is also a must order. The coconut milk and Gula Melaka was rich and authentic with a hint of salt.
