Today was the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra's first performance in Kuala Lumpur, and it was a magnificent world in the beautiful concert hall at KLCC.
It has been a long time since I have listened a live classical orchestra performance. The harmony of the sounds gave me the illusion that another world was appearing through the images. Young pianist Tomohiro Ushida's focused and captivating performance was shocking. Conductor Naoto Otomo's conducting was just beautiful and cool, and the harmony of the orchestra's sound was smooth and undisturbed. The composition of the two encores, ending with the famous song from the movie "ET," was also excellent.
It was really wonderful, and the audience applauded nonstop. A very worthwhile concert.
As a Japanese, I felt proud that Malaysian people could listen this wonderful performance.

今日は、東京交響楽団のクアラルンプール初公演。KLCCの美しいコンサートホールで、壮大な世界が広がりました。
クラシックのオーケストラの生の演奏を聴くのは久しぶり。音の調和によって、まるで映像が流れて別の世界が現れるような錯覚になりました。若手ピアニスト牛田智大氏の集中力、魅せる演奏は衝撃的。指揮者大友直人氏の指揮はとにかく美しくカッコよく、オーケストラの音の調和は全く乱れずなめらか。そして、2曲のアンコールで最後は映画ETの有名曲で締めくくるあたり、構成も最高でした。
ほんとに素晴らしくて、会場では拍手も鳴り止まないほどでした。とても価値のあるコンサート。日本人としても、マレーシアの方にこの素晴らしい演奏を聴いていただけて、誇り高い気持ちでした。
素晴らしい機会をありがとうございました！！
