Leen’s Middle East Kitchen @ TTDI, KL
No Pork, No Lard, No Alcohol
Syrian Fusion Restaurant at TTDI. It’s selected Michelin Bib Groumand 2025.
I was so excited to learn about this restaurant from a picture of the food I saw on Instagram that I immediately made a reservation the next day.
I have always loved Middle Eastern food, but this was my first time to try the combination of ingredients and the modern style of the food was wonderful and made it my favorite restaurant. The salad of melted eggplant and crispy fried onions with the sweetness, tartness, and color of pomegranate was so creative that I tried to copy it at home.
The freshly baked Middle Eastern pizza with plenty of truffle-scented mushrooms was also delicious, and the beef short ribs were again fantastic. The smoked, sweet, savory, tender beef was paired perfectly with artichoke puree, pickles, nuts, and mizuna. The watermelon dessert was seedless, which is a wonder. The combination of figs and Greek yogurt was also refreshing.
My first experience with modern Syrian cuisine was very satisfying.
