Located in an office building near KLCC, Barkar combines Malaysian fusion cuisine with open-flame grilling and smoking techniques, and has been named a Michelin Selected Restaurant for 2025.
The décor is uplifting from the moment you enter, and the food is of high quality, from the combination of Malaysian cuisine and the originality of the flavors that are well represented to the desserts. The dishes are dynamic, savory and smoky, yet harmonious throughout.
On weekdays, a 3-course RM108 lunch set is available, but on this day, we ordered a la carte.
The aging lamb ribs are melt-in-your-mouth. A must-try is the grilled squid and wagyu beef char siu claypot rice, both of which are unmistakably Malaysian. And be sure to try the corn millefeuille.
