Pyro, a wood-fired restaurant in Damansara, opened 2 years ago and is already receiving high praise.
The food prepared by Chef Louis, a flame specialist who trained at Burnt Ends, a famous wood-fired restaurant in Singapore, as well as other famous restaurants in Netherlands and Spain, is excellent, perfectly cooked to bring out the best flavor of the ingredients.
He purchases the best ingredients of the day at the market every day and updates his menu frequently.
The juiciness, texture, and flavor of the ingredients are served at their best, and each dish is so delicious that it leaves a strong impression. The dishes are fragrant and aromatic but not overly burnt, and the ingredients are fully presented. Juicy oysters, abalone and octopus cooked at a low temperature for 40 minutes, asparagus with a pile of truffles, flatbread with the aroma and flavor of the sea, and truffle rice from the back menu were beautiful, delicious, and blissful.
The restaurant's modern, relaxed atmosphere makes for a wonderful dining experience as you watch the food being prepared and the flames blazing over the long counter.
