We had lunch at an Inner Mongolia restaurant ( muslim Chinese restaurant) that we found by chance. The restaurant was opened by a Muslim wife from Inner Mongolia who married in Malaysia. This is my first experience of Inner Mongolian cuisine.
The signature dish is lamb Siu mai. The large siu mai is filled with meat that has no Lamb smell at all. They use lamb from New Zealand. There are several types of Siu mai, and you can choose between steamed and baked. The Bao was also tasty and the dough was elastic. The fried rice with plenty of boiled lamb on top is sweet and gentle. Good restaurant! I would like to come back again.
