At Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur—recognized by the Malaysian National Heritage Department for its contributions to promoting traditional Malaysian cuisine and holder of a Guinness World Record for “Most Nasi Lemak Served in 8 Hours (11,446 plates)”—you can savor Oriental Kopi’s carefully selected dishes and egg tarts.
As an exclusive item available only here, Lobster Laksa will also be featured.
In a speech by Oriental Kopi’s founder, Dato’ Calvin Chan Jian Chern, he remarked, “It feels like a dream that the day has come when our menu is served at a five-star hotel. I look forward to this opportunity to introduce traditional Malaysian dishes to travelers and people from all over the world.”
Since opening its first store in Johor Jaya, the chain has grown to 31 locations. I suspect that the secret to their delicious food lies in the fact that they prepare their dishes at each individual store rather than in a central kitchen.

ジョホールジャヤに最初の店を開いてから、今では31店舗。セントラルキッチンではなく各店舗で料理を作っていることが、おいしさの秘訣ではないかと思いました。
