Kenjo Bakery @ Taman Melodies, Johor Bahru
(Non Halal)

A Japanese-Taiwanese style bakery where every loaf lets the flavor of the flour shine. Made with premium ingredients like French butter and Japanese wheat, with no chemical additives. Enjoy around 10 varieties each of fluffy shiopan and chewy bagels, plus croissants, focaccia, cakes, and more—all at surprisingly affordable prices.
As one of the few non-halal bakeries in Malaysia, their bacon and sausages are especially flavorful. The quality easily rivals bakeries charging 1.5–2 times more. Definitely worth the visit.
Kenjo is named after owner Joey and her family. After studying baking in Taiwan and training at a Japanese bakery, she opened her dream shop two years ago. Today, it’s a beloved neighborhood bakery where you can also dine in.
