I’ve become completely hooked on the MPO orchestra, and while browsing their website, I discovered a concert that looks really interesting.

The theme is “Nature” and “The Outdoor World,” and it seems to be a concert where you can enjoy the “playfulness of Baroque music.”
The composers express various sounds and scenes from the natural world—such as insects, frogs, birds, and the sounds of the night—through music.

Maurice Steger, a world-renowned recorder player from Switzerland, will conduct while also performing on the recorder himself.
He is one of the leading recorder players of our time and is even known as the “Paganini of the recorder.”

Rather than difficult classical music, this is described as “classical music that lets you enjoy nature through sound, full of humor and playfulness”—it sounds like the perfect way to lose yourself in music without a care in the world on a Saturday night!
Since admission is open to those ages 8 and up, it would be a great outing for children with a rich sense of imagination.

MPOのオーケストラの魅力にすっかりはまり、WEBサイトを見ていたら面白そうなコンサートを発見。

「自然」や「野外の世界」がテーマで、「バロック音楽の遊び心」を楽しむコンサートらしい。
作曲家たちは、虫やカエル、鳥、夜の音など、自然界のさまざまな音や情景を音楽で表現。

スイス出身の「リコーダーのパガニーニ」と呼ばれるほどの世界的なリコーダー奏者、モーリス・シュテーガー（Maurice Steger氏が指揮をしながら自らリコーダーを演奏するとのこと。

難しいクラシックではなく、「ユーモアと遊び心に満ちた、音で自然を楽しむクラシック」とは、土曜の夜に何も考えず音楽に没頭するのにとても良さそう！
8歳以上は入場できるようなので、感性豊かなお子さんと行くのもいいですね。
