Ramadan Buffet at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. “Sajian Istimewa” means Special Dishes. And the team led by Chef Safee will be serving up specialties from all over Malaysia at outdoor bazaar stalls.
Laksa Johor, Tempoyak (stewed fermented durian) with patin fish, and Malacca's baked coconut sweets (a rarity, I've never seen it before)! etc. I was also pleased to see that Shangri-La's buffet has a wide selection of another non-Malay dishes. You can enjoy high quality Chinese, Italian, Western, Indian, and even seafood such as lobster. Overall, it is luxurious, upscale, and a wonderful place to spend a wonderful time.

A fusion restaurant of Nanyang Kopitiam and Japanese cuisine.
Maya, the Lady boss, and Chef Ong, a gold medalist in the World Japanese Culinary Competition, are full of passion. “ We want our customers to have a wonderful and memorable experience," she said enthusiastically. Although it has only been open for about two months, most of the customers keep coming back to the restaurant at least three times. Word of mouth has brought in more and more customers, and the restaurant has become very popular.
To be honest, when I first looked at the menu, I had no idea that the addition of the Nanyang and Japanese would be so well matched and tasty. I was surprised to find that the combination, which seems to be too much as Japanese people, was so harmonious and delicious when i tasted! The omelet rice curry with sambal prawns, The sea bream porridge with miso, and The Unagi Nasi lemak were all high quality, delicious, and new experiences. The original blend of coffee is also excellent.

女主人Mayaさんと、世界の日本料理コンペティションで金賞受賞のOngシェフによる、パッションが詰まったお店。「お客様に、心に残る素晴らしい経験をしてほしい。」と熱く語ってくれました。オープンしてまだ2ヶ月余りですが、ほとんどのお客が3回はリピートして訪れてきているとのこと。口コミで客が客を呼び大人気。
正直、最初にメニューを見た時には、南洋と和を合わせた足し算の料理が、これほどマッチして美味しくなるとは思いませんでした。1番人気メニューが、お刺身の載ったアッサムラクサと聞いて、本当なのか疑いました。日本人的にはトゥーマッチに思われる組み合わせが、実際料理が運ばれてきていただくと、とても調和して美味しくて驚き!サンバルプラウンの入ったオムライスカレー、味噌入りの鯛雑炊、うなぎのナシレマ、どれもクオリティが高く、おいしく、新しい体験でした。オリジナルブレンドのコーヒーも絶品。
