New open! Sushi Omakase Fine Dining in JB !
Now Omakase Japanese restaurant is trending in Malaysia. There are many in KL. Still JB has a few. So I’m glad.
But as a Japanese person, I am a bit nervous about introducing Japanese restaurants. I can't introduce a restaurant unless I can say with confidence that it is really good. That's why I went to this restaurant twice in one week to check the taste!
In conclusion, I can really recommend you! The ingredients, air-flown from Japan twice a week, are fresh. The chef’s skills is very good. The sushi rice is airy and the seaweed is crisp and flavoursome, with a quality that is evident the moment you bite into it. A thick slice of sashimi is very satisfying.
A course that will fill you up and leave you feeling satisfied.
A la carte menu is also available. It’s so good!

2週間前にペランギにオープンしたばかり。
カフェやファインダイニングなど複数店舗を手がけてきた会社の、初のおまかせ寿司ファインダイニングです。
シンガポールの寿司屋での経験があるシェフがお寿司を握っています。日本から鮮魚を週2回空輸。オーセンティックな和食寄りで、少しヒュージョン系。
RM488のコースを予約しました。
歯切れのよい上質な海苔、厚みがあって食べた時の満足感があるお刺身、お寿司はちゃんと空気を含み、口に入れたときにごはんがほどけるほどよい食感。和牛ステーキもしっかり量があり、ネギマ汁のダシもおいしかったです。
ジョホールバルのファインダイニング系は、お腹いっぱいにならない上品すぎる量のお店が多い印象ですが、ここではお腹いっぱいでとても満足。
完璧とは言わなくても、全体的にすごくよかったです。数日後に、アラカルトの料理を食べに再度行きました。12貫のお寿司と新鮮で厚切りの本日のおすすめのお刺身はリピート間違いなし。和牛のボーンマロー(骨髄)のグリルや和牛すき焼きなど、ヒュージョン系にアレンジされている料理もあり、お店の特色になっています。

美しくて可愛くて、そしてこのマカロンは、マレーシア1と言えるくらいにおいしく上質。
赤いカバーを外すと、27個のマカロンがタワー状になっています。マカロンの種類は16種から自由に選べます。

Before the day of soft launching, I stayed at 1 Bed Suite Room.
Simple, smart and affordable price !
All room rate include complimentary breakfast buffet. They have no swimming pool. But have gym, restaurant and meeting room.
Room is very clean, simple and comfortable. Usually when we stay at this category’s business hotel, room is very small. So just sleeping is good.
But this Holiday inn Express have many Suite rooms. ( all Suite room have Microwave !) They have 2 Bed room also. So you can relax even if you are in a hotel room during the day time.
Hotel’s lobby and restaurant is very big, nice place. They have laundry room too.
For business trip and budget traveler, it’s very good hotel!

本日ソフトオープン！
ホリデーインのシンプルスマートブランド、ホリデーインエクスプレスジョホールバルホテル。タウンエリアのコンベンションセンターから徒歩5分ほどの場所。
ソフトオープン前日に、1ベッドスイートルームに宿泊しました。
1室RM100からというお手頃なビジネスホテルですが、広いロビーとレストランがあり、部屋も清潔で快適。全室朝食付き。
スイートルームも何部屋もあるようで、2ベッドスイートなら、RM240ほどで4人宿泊できるので、1人あたり朝食込みで1泊RM60(約1600円)！プールはありませんがジムとレストラン、ミーティングルーム、ランドリールームもあって便利。すべてのスイートルームには電子レンジがあります。
インターネット環境も問題なく、インターナショナルブランドなので安心して宿泊できて、出張やバジェット旅行者に最適。

My favourite hawker Center. The place is in front of R&F mall.
Comfortable, many selection, fashionable hawker.
During MCO, many stalls closed or gone. But now, The energy is back!
Now(Dec 2021), 33 stalls are opening. I took all stall’s photo!
My repeat order is Korean stall and Pork Sate stall. Recently’s my favourite is Porridge stall and Vietnamese stall!
One thing is missing, there is no Hainanese chicken rice here! Please come and open! If KangBeeHong or SweeKee or Empurau or Meng Meng Roasted Duck come here and open, I’m very glad!

気に入ってるオシャレホーカーセンター。
R&Fモールの向かい、専用駐車場もあります。
MCO中にクローズしたり撤退したストールもありましたが、12月現在、また以前のような活気が戻ってきました！
数えたら33のストールがオープン。(全部写真撮ったのでチェックを！)
品揃え豊富。韓国ストールや豚肉サテのお店はよくリピートしていますが、最近のお気に入りは、ベトナムストールとお粥ストール。
本格的でおいしい！
一つ足りないのはチキンライスストール。これがオープンしてくれたらさらにいいのに！
また来たくなるホーカーセンター。オススメです。ビールもあるし、焼肉ができたりもします。

I like “Chestnut Brownie”! Little bit sour Raspberry purée is good essence for Chestnut cream.
“Matcha X’mas Tree” also good. Dark matcha taste and peanut butter cream’s combination is interesting and match well.
All cakes are not too sweet and Good taste.
