It’s my first time to stay here. When I arrive, I surprised that there were many customers!
It’s the first business hotel in this area. The location is only 10minutes from JPO( Johor Premium Outlets) and Senai airport.
So many neighbours, business man, shopping people enjoy here.
The restaurant have Halal cert. and they provide many affordable promotions.
I had Muhibbah Set. ( my stay plan include dinner for 2adult and 2kids.) It’s really delicious Malay dishes. And huge amount !
Room was comfortable. I’m glad to have 2type of bathrobes.
Now Club Lounge closed. So Club floor customers can enjoy complimentary High Tea Set.

初めて宿泊しましたが、到着すると、たくさんのお客がいて驚き。聞くと、ビジネス客だけでなく、アウトレットでの買い物目的で泊まるファミリーも多いとか。
レストランはハラル認証をとっていて、お得なプロモーションもたくさんあるので、ランチの時間はいつも混んでいるそうです。
マレー料理のセットディナーは、とても美味しく、食べきれないほどのボリューム。
部屋は快適で、プール横の席もいい感じでした。

I knew this restaurant from someone’s post at Food group of Facebook.
I have interest to see Menu in Japanese.
and went there first time.
They cook daily dishes with fresh ingredients. So menu changes everyday.
We like there very much !
We found Homemade Shiokara ( squid marinade with raw guts. It must be very fresh.) it was dish we’ve been wanting to try for a long time. “Doteni” (Braised Beef Suji with Miso) have a lot of spring onion. It’s Authentic Japanese Izakaya menu.
Grilled Mentai Salmon is big cut.
We felt very nostalgic ! ( rice is not Japanese rice though.)
Eat-in space is small. So if big group, ask seats by calling is better.

ちょっといいお店発見！少し前に、Facebookのフードグループでの投稿を見て、日本語のメニューがあるローカルのお店ということで興味を持ちました。
行ってみると、小さなお店。潮州粥と蒸し魚などの中国料理と、日本の家庭料理を提供しているお店です。その日仕入れた新鮮な食材で作る料理は日替わり。
店主のリナさんと息子さんは日本語も話せる方。以前のご主人が日本人で、大阪で飲食店を営んでいたとか。
自家製の塩辛に感激。土手煮は柔らかな牛すじにネギがたっぷり。サーモン明太焼きは大きな切り身。ごはんはローカルのお米ですが、日本の家庭料理的な懐かしさを感じました。テイクアウトもOK。メニューや席の確認には電話してくださいとのこと。

New open! Sushi Omakase Fine Dining in JB !
Now Omakase Japanese restaurant is trending in Malaysia. There are many in KL. Still JB has a few. So I’m glad.
But as a Japanese person, I am a bit nervous about introducing Japanese restaurants. I can't introduce a restaurant unless I can say with confidence that it is really good. That's why I went to this restaurant twice in one week to check the taste!
In conclusion, I can really recommend you! The ingredients, air-flown from Japan twice a week, are fresh. The chef’s skills is very good. The sushi rice is airy and the seaweed is crisp and flavoursome, with a quality that is evident the moment you bite into it. A thick slice of sashimi is very satisfying.
A course that will fill you up and leave you feeling satisfied.

2週間前にペランギにオープンしたばかり。
カフェやファインダイニングなど複数店舗を手がけてきた会社の、初のおまかせ寿司ファインダイニングです。
シンガポールの寿司屋での経験があるシェフがお寿司を握っています。日本から鮮魚を週2回空輸。オーセンティックな和食寄りで、少しヒュージョン系。
RM488のコースを予約しました。
歯切れのよい上質な海苔、厚みがあって食べた時の満足感があるお刺身、お寿司はちゃんと空気を含み、口に入れたときにごはんがほどけるほどよい食感。和牛ステーキもしっかり量があり、ネギマ汁のダシもおいしかったです。
ジョホールバルのファインダイニング系は、お腹いっぱいにならない上品すぎる量のお店が多い印象ですが、ここではお腹いっぱいでとても満足。
完璧とは言わなくても、全体的にすごくよかったです。数日後に、アラカルトの料理を食べに再度行きました。12貫のお寿司と新鮮で厚切りの本日のおすすめのお刺身はリピート間違いなし。和牛のボーンマロー(骨髄)のグリルや和牛すき焼きなど、ヒュージョン系にアレンジされている料理もあり、お店の特色になっています。

Do you know this large but hidden seafood restaurant?
I had never heard of it. It's a 30-minute drive from the city of Desaru. I wouldn't have known about it if my friend hadn't taken me there, as it's inland.
A large open-air space with chairs and tables made entirely of wood. The fish tank at the back is filled with fresh lobsters and crabs that arrive daily. It makes you feel like you're on special holiday.
The menu offers a variety of no-pork, no-lard Chinese dishes.
The lobster is priced per 100g, not at market price, and comes in a variety of sizes. The lobster is the freshest !! It’s naturally sweet and plump. You can enjoy the lobster to your heart's content here.
After lunch, I was taken to the fishing village where the boss of the restaurant buys his lobsters. The lobsters are bought directly from the fishermen, so they are the freshest ! ( I write again.)
Local people also seemed to come through here frequently.
We 5pax had lunch. Price per pax is around RM100.

この大きいけれど隠れ家のような海鮮レストランを知っていますか？
私は全く知りませんでした。デサルの街から車で30分。内陸にあるので、友人に連れて行ってもらわなかったら、知る機会はなかったでしょう。
オープンエアの広い空間に、全て木で作られた椅子とテーブル。奥の生簀には毎日入荷する新鮮なロブスターと蟹がぎっしり。旅行気分が盛り上がります。メニューにはノーポークノーラードの中華料理がいろいろ。ロブスターは時価ではなく100gあたりの価格が表示されていて、サイズもいろいろあるので注文しやすい。自然な甘味とぷりぷりの身。思う存分ロブスターを楽しめます。
食事の後、お店のボスがロブスターを買い付けしているフィッシングビレッジに連れて行ってもらいました。ボートで30分ほど海に出ると、ロブスターがたくさんいる場所があるらしい。直接漁師から買い付けているから、最も新鮮なものがいただけます。
地元の方も頻繁に通ってきているようでした。

Stepping into the restaurant, you will find yourself in a large space inspired by a forest. You can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine from the Chinese restaurant Meng Kitchen next door, as well as a wide range of drinks and mocktails.
There is a stage in the restaurant, which will soon become a place where you can have a drink while listening to live music. The restaurant is spacious and we saw a group of people having a birthday party.
Popular dishes include Hokkien mee, Tilapia in garlic sauce and Giant prawn Bee hoon in cheese sauce.
All of these dishes were very tasty.
You can have a full meal or just order a snack with your favourite drinks!

ニューオープン！オースティンの工場地帯にできたナイトスポット。
一歩店内に入ると、森をイメージした広い空間。隣にある中華料理店「銘厨房(Meng Kitchen)」の本格中華料理と、お酒やモクテルの数々を楽しめます。
店内にはステージがあり、近い将来生演奏を聴きながらお酒を飲める場所になるとのこと。店内は広く、バースデーパーティーを行っているグループもいました。
人気の料理は、ホッケンミーやティラピアのガーリックソース、大海老のチーズソースビーフンなど。
どれをいただいてもとてもおいしかったです。
しっかりとした食事もいただけるし、スナック程度のものだけを注文することもできます。

Grand Opening! New hotel!
I attended the grand opening ceremony and stayed on the first day.
After long term MCO, new hotel opened in the heart of Desaru town.
10 minutes drive from the beach and water theme park. Weekend mornings and evenings there is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes to the beach (you can go to the Westin's private beach).
Maverick Loh, General Manager said:
“The most notable things about this hotel are: 1) it is a brand with 4-star international standards; 2) it works with the local community; and 3) it is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Group, which consists of 30 brands of hotels around the world, making it easy to earn points and get benefits.”
A simple but relaxing hotel with good sense. Room rates are reasonable, starting from RM242 per room. The rooms are spacious and have a resort feel to them despite being in the town area. All rooms have a terrace and coffee machine.
I like here so much !
The hotel is family friendly with free rental fee floating rings at the swimming pool, Games room available by reservation, Planetarium and tent in the family room.
“The Mesh” is an all-day dining restaurant with indoor seating and a terrace next to the pool, serving artisan coffee, craft beers and big portions of local and western cuisine.

ショップロットが連なる中にあるフォーポインツバイシェラトンデサルは、ビーチやウォーターテーマパークから車で10分の距離。週末の朝と夕方は30分毎にビーチ(Westinのプライベートビーチに入れます。)へのシャトルバスが出ています。
総支配人のMaverick Loh氏曰く、

シンプルながら落ち着くセンスの良いホテル。宿泊料金は1室RM242からとリーズナブル。部屋は広く、タウンエリアにありながらリゾート感も感じます。全室にテラスとコーヒーマシン付き。私はすっかり気に入りました。
プールでの浮き輪の貸し出しが無料だったり、予約によりゲームルームが使用できたり、ファミリールームにはプラネタリウムとテントが装備されていて家族連れにも優しいホテル。
オールデイダイニングの「The Mesh」には室内の席とプール横のテラス席があり、アルチザンコーヒーやクラフトビール、ビッグボリュームのローカル&西洋料理がいただけます。
11月末までの滞在予約で朝食がRM1になるプロモーション実施中。

I’m regular customer of this restaurant. We can enjoy comfort foods at convenient shopping mall and Pelangi Shoplot.
We Japanese like and often order Ma Po Tofu 麻婆豆腐 RM11.9 and Lei Cha 擂茶 (Thunder Rice) RM8.9 here. (I think this Ma Po Tofu is one of the best in JB!)
I didn’t know there were many “new” taste in Hakka Dishes. It’s very traditional taste. But for me, something very new.
I like Yam Abacus RM10.9, Garlic Red Oil Dumplings RM8.9 and Pork Belly Soup Noodle in 3kinds of wine RM12.9.
If eat Dry Hakka Minded meat noodle RM8.9 everyday, not boring. Lei Cha fried rice RM11.9 include a lot of vegetables.
Drunken Chicken Set RM20.9 is so special! So drunken! So wine! It’s one of most popular menu. I can’t finish. If I eat all, Can’t drive.
They have some collaborate Menu.
虫草花soup RM16.9 is Collaborate with Herbal Farmer.
Their new brand “Minch Minch”’s Minch( Hamburg) is juicy, meaty, and big size.

ハッカ(客家)料理レストラン。
現在はミッドバレー内とペランギに店舗があります。
便利で手頃な価格なので、ここにはよく来ます。麻婆豆腐はJB内でベスト。メニューがたくさんありますが、日本人はレイチャ(ハッカライス)や麻婆豆腐をオーダーすることが多いと思います。
今回、いろんなメニューを試して驚き。伝統料理なのになんか新しい！日本では出会わないような新しい味わいの料理がたくさん。
定番ハッカ料理のヤムイモボールはもちもちで、食感が面白いドライ湯葉とひき肉と共に炒められています。みんなが好きな味。
3種のお酒が入った豚バラスープ麺は、オススメ！ハマります。「酔っ払い鶏セット」はここの人気メニューの一つだそう。強烈にお酒！甘みもあって酔っ払う！ちょっと私は完食は厳しいほど。食べたあと運転していいのか不安。お酒好きな方はぜひお試しを。
レイチャフライドライスは野菜たっぷり。漢方ブランドとのコラボした冬虫夏草のスープなどもあります。
ここの新しいブランド、「ミンチミンチ」のハンバーグもメニューに載る予定。これは、日本の「びっくりドンキー」のハンバーグを彷彿とさせるような、和風のような感じのジューシーなハンバーグ。(デリバリーで注文可。)
ハッカ料理の探求はなんか新しくて面白い。

New Open! Must-Go Restaurant.
It’s the 1st Flame Grill Restaurant in JB.
For long time, I had wanted to go such a Simple Grill speciality restaurant.
There is nothing better than fresh ingredients cooked to perfection, with the flavours of the ingredients coming through. But until now, there were no such restaurants in JB.
So I was very excited with these simple but perfect flame grilled dishes.
Juicy mushrooms with the aroma of charcoal and straw. The combination of savoury pineapple, crispy butter and sweet brioche. The exquisite burnt Caesar salad. And the Shiro miso-flavoured cod. Etc. There were also Japanese essences.
This is a rare restaurant where you can enjoy the delicate flavours of the ingredients.
Another thing I like is the reasonable prices for bottles of wine.
I already made reservation for next visit!

ヌサジャヤに新規オープン！こんなお店が欲しかった。
ホライゾンヒルズの新しいショップロットの2階にできた直火焼きレストラン。
新鮮な食材を完璧に焼くだけで、それ以上美味しいものはないと思うくらいですが、これまでJBにはシンプルにグリルしただけ、というお店はありませんでした。
ファインダイニングのエッセンスや日本などのヒュージョン感を取り入れつつも、基本は薪の炎でシンプルに焼いた料理ばかり。自然に炭が香る香ばしい料理はとてもおいしいです。ジューシーで藁と炭でスモークされたマッシュルーム、白味噌味のタラのカマ焼き、香ばしいシーザーサラダ、焦がしパイナップルと甘い自家製ブリオッシュとサクサクバターの組み合わせは最強。
サイコロステーキのグリルには甘めのフォアグラソース添え。日替わりの魚介メニューもあり、今後さらにシーフードを増やしていきたいとのことでした。ボトルワインがリーズナブルなのも嬉しい。
さっそくその場で次回の予約を入れました。
