So exotic! So beautiful! It’s like Paris Petit Hotel.
The Vagabond Club offers Parisian-inspired accommodation housed in a 1950 Art Deco heritage building.
The location is east of Little India. Surrounded by many local restaurants. Very convenient place.
Designer is French architect and designer Jacques Garcia ( one of Architectural Digest’s top 100 designers in 2014). He designed an apartment for the Sultan of Brunei, advised on the restoration of the Chateau Versailles etc. Hotel Vagabond is his first Asian project.
This small boutique hotel has 42 rooms. But packed with thousands of work of art!
It’s small hotel. But Thick bathrobes and towels, good quality Rosenthal teacups, Etro amenities etc makes me luxury feeling.
Hospitality and A la cart breakfast also very good!

異国情緒あふれるアートなホテル！パリのプチホテルに迷い込んだかのよう。
ザ・バガボンド・クラブは、1950年に建てられたアールデコ調の建物を利用した、パリ風のデザインブティックホテル。
場所はリトルインディアの東側。周囲にはローカルレストランやホーカー、マッサージ屋さんなどがたくさんあります。
デザイナーはフランス人建築家・デザイナーのジャック・ガルシア( 建築ダイジェストの2014年トップ100デザイナーの一人)。ブルネイの王様のアパートを設計し、ベルサイユ宮殿の修復のアドバイスなどもしている彼にとって、ホテル バガボンドは、初のアジアのプロジェクト。
客室数42室の小さなブティックホテルですが、その中にはたくさんのアートが詰まっています。
分厚いバスローブやタオル、質の良いローゼンタールのティーカップ、エトロのアメニティなどがゴージャスな気分にしてくれます。ホスピタリティやアラカルト朝食もとてもよく、素晴らしい滞在ができました。

There are poke bowls with a free choice of combinations, freshly baked bagels, sourdough and croissants, several types of cakes, and a growing menu of other Big Breakfast-like items, Kids menu to make it more appealing.

ポケボウルとベーグルのカフェ。JBに系列店が4店舗ある人気店。このスポーツセンター脇に移転して、5/1にオープンしたばかり。
広くて明るくて、2階席もあり、心地よい空間。駐車場も十分にあります。
店内は平日の朝は空いていましたが、お昼にはほぼ満席になりました。
自由に組み合わせを選べるポケボウル、焼きたてのベーグルやサワードゥやクロワッサン、ケーキ類も何種類かあり、その他にもビッグブレックファーストのようなメニューやキッズメニューが増えて、より魅力的な内容に。
私はバリバリ食感のノリタコ(海苔×タコス)が好きです。
使い勝手の良いカフェができて嬉しい。

Exquisitely cooked lobster omelette, smoked salmon eggs Benedict, steak and fried eggs, and many other tempting dishes.

ビュッフェコーナーにはスパークリングワインやフレッシュ丸ごとココナツジュース、マレーシアの伝統菓子クエ、ローストチキン、フィッシュヘッドカレー麺やキッシュなど、質が高く充実した品揃え。
アラカルトメニューからも好きなだけオーダーできますが、これがまた素晴らしい。
絶妙な焼き具合のロブスターオムレツ、スモークサーモンエッグベネディクト、フィレステーキと目玉焼き、など魅力的なメニューがたくさん。
宿泊しなくとも、朝食を食べに来るだけでも価値があります。
虎のぬいぐるみが置いてあるのは、動物避けのためだそうです。

It’s my first time to stay this hotel.
Rooms are spacious and functional. There is no lounge, but Titanium members were offered free drinks in the fridge and snacks.
The pool is on the roof and the breakfast is good with a wide selection.
Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water for showers.
Location is very convenient as it is connected to KL Sentral. There are restaurants, shops, supermarkets and everything else. A perfect hotel for a simple stay.

My 3rd time to stay this hotel. Room is big, there is coffee machine, simple but always very comfortable.
Weekday Breakfast is sometimes Buffet, sometimes a la cart or set menu.
This time I tasted new a la cart menu at The mesh restaurant for dinner. It was Wonderful!! I like so much !!
We can enjoy Gastronomy feeling dishes and local favourites. Each Portion is huge. Suitable to share with 2-3pax. So price is affordable.
Must order “The Mesh Salad”. The combination of Tuna curried spice, Asparagus, Savoury Granola and sesame dressing is super nice.
Most Popular dish “24hour Slow Braised Short Ribs” is marriage of Asian aromatic flavour and Western style.
“Land and Sea Grills” is gorgeous! The sauces are also very tasty so very satisfying.
I’m very glad to meet this menu” Lobster Roll”! Maybe only this restaurant serve this menu in Johor ?( I was looking for it!)
Actually I like these all dishes ! (Not enough space to describe…)

このホテルには3回目の宿泊。シンプルながら、部屋は広く、全部屋にコーヒーマシーンがあり、いつでも快適に過ごせています。平日の朝食は、ビュッフェの日と、メニューの中から好きなものオーダーする日があるようです。
今回は、レストランThe Mesh でアラカルトの新メニューをディナーにいただきました。
これが、カジュアルにガストロノミーとローカルと洋風の全てを楽しめる、とても素晴らしい料理！ポーションはどれもとても大きく、数人でシェアする大きさなので、価格も手頃に感じます。
マグロのたたきが入ったメッシュサラダは必須オーダー。カレースパイスとスパイシーなグラノーラがアクセントになっていてとてもおいしいです。ロブスターロールはおそらくジョホールで提供しているのはここだけ？地元はロブスターの産地。海老好きはぜひ。
1番人気は、ビーフリブをバクテーのハーブで24時間かけて柔らかく仕上げたメニュー。
豪華なグリルの盛り合わせは、焼き加減や塩加減がばっちり。チミチュリソースやレモンバターソースがまたいい感じ。
他にも、ハラル仕様にした麺、コロミーや、四川風の茄子と豆腐と牛ひき肉の料理もとてもおいしかったです。チーズケーキは伝統的なビスケットをアレンジしたもの。
また、コーヒーにこだわりがあるレストランなので、コーヒーを使用したカクテルなども充実しています。

First time in 3 months at the Westin Desaru Coast, we stayed on the first day of CNY so it was very packed but we were enough comfortable in the sea, by the pool and at the buffet breakfast.
This time we stayed in a Suite room on the Anantara side. This is a great, bright room with sea views from both the living room and bedroom terraces.
In addition to the gift of fruit and cookies, we were served Mandarin and homemade pineapple cookies, a unique Chinese New Year treat.

3ヶ月ぶりのウェスティンホテルデサルコースト。CNY初日の宿泊だったので、ほぼ満室でしたが、プールでも海でも、予約制の朝食ビュッフェでも、十分快適に過ごせました。
今回、アナンタラ側の1ベッドスイートルームに宿泊しましたが、リビングと寝室、両方のテラスから海が見え、明るくて素敵な部屋でした。このウェスティンでは建物の両サイドにスイートルームのがありますが、このアナンタラ側の方が明るくて雰囲気が良くて好きです。
フルーツとクッキーのギフトの他、CNYならではの、みかんとパイナップルクッキーをいただきました。

It’s my first time to stay here. When I arrive, I surprised that there were many customers!
It’s the first business hotel in this area. The location is only 10minutes from JPO( Johor Premium Outlets) and Senai airport.
So many neighbours, business man, shopping people enjoy here.
The restaurant have Halal cert. and they provide many affordable promotions.
I had Muhibbah Set. ( my stay plan include dinner for 2adult and 2kids.) It’s really delicious Malay dishes. And huge amount !

セナイ空港やプレミアムアウトレットから10分の位置のビジネスホテル。この地域でホテルはここだけ。
初めて宿泊しましたが、到着すると、たくさんのお客がいて驚き。聞くと、ビジネス客だけでなく、アウトレットでの買い物目的で泊まるファミリーも多いとか。
レストランはハラル認証をとっていて、お得なプロモーションもたくさんあるので、ランチの時間はいつも混んでいるそうです。
マレー料理のセットディナーは、とても美味しく、食べきれないほどのボリューム。
部屋は快適で、プール横の席もいい感じでした。

This old hotel opened in 1997, renovated in 2018, closed for over a year due to Covid, then opened on December 2021.
When I stayed here 6-7 years ago, I didn't have the impression that it was nice, but after a long time, I found this hotel to be very beautiful and comfortable.
Elegant lobby and staircase leading to the upper floors, 5-story high ceilings and a lounge with chandeliers, many selections and tasty breakfast, old but clean rooms, KL Tower view, and reasonable price.
We stayed in a club room and had complimentary drinks from morning 8am to night 11pm in this beautiful lounge. The set meal served during cocktail hour was also delicious.
The pool has a nice atmosphere like a garden resort. I would like to come back again.

1997年開業、2018年リノベーション、コロナにより1年以上休業ののち、2021年12月日オープンした老舗ホテル。
6-7年前に宿泊した時には、素敵だという印象はありませんでしたが、久しぶりにこのホテルに来ると、とても美しくて快適でした。
エレガントなロビーと上階につながる階段。5階の高さがある高い天井とシャンデリアのあるラウンジ、品揃え豊富な朝食、古いけれど清潔で広さのある客室、KLタワービュー、そして手頃な価格。
クラブルームに宿泊しましたが、この美しいラウンジで朝から夜までドリンクが無料。カクテルタイムに提供される食事のセットもおいしかったです。
プールもガーデンリゾートのようなよい雰囲気。また来たいと思いました。

We went there 8am on weekday.
Already many people enjoy Malay breakfast at garden.
Comfortable morning Sun and wind!
Love there.
I like this Begedil, Nasi Lemak and Beef noodle.
There is a cafe having inside seats. They sell cakes and desserts.
There are enough parking spaces beside of Lapo. ( enter with TnG)

近所にあるガーデンカフェ、Lapo。
朝7時からオープンしているので、朝に予定がない日に来たいと思っていて、今日がそのタイミング。
平日朝8時に行くと、結構お客が来ていました。9時には7割方外の席が埋まっている感じ。
朝の日差しと風が心地よく、好きなものをあれこれみて買えるのは楽しい。
隣にカフェもできていて、こちらにはケーキ類が売っていて、店内の席もあります。
ナシレマもビーフヌードルもコロッケの春巻き的なのもとてもおいしかった。
ティッシュやウェットティッシュを持参した方が良いです。

Conveniently located across from the pavilion.
I stayed Residence Suite room. It is comfortable room with kitchen.
Welcome Sweets( Madeleine) is tasty.
At this time( Oct 2021), the club lounge open only Thursday to Saturday. And on weekdays, there was a cocktail hour and served set menu at the beautiful bar.
I stayed in this hotel several times in 2021. This time, Breakfast buffet had most selections. A salad made from cut hydroponically grown leafy greens is very special!
Recently, catching Grab car in KL is very difficult. Sometimes it takes over 30min.
So convenient location is very important.

ブキビンタンの、パビリオンの向かいにある便利な立地。最近KLではGrabカーをつかまえるのがとても大変で、30分以上かかることも多いので、歩いて食事や買い物に行ける立地の良さはとても重要です。
レジデンススイートルームに宿泊しました。ウェルカムスイーツのマドレーヌがおいしいので嬉しい。広くてキッチンもあり快適。
2021年10月に宿泊したこの時は、クラブラウンジは木曜日から土曜日までしか開いていませんでした。平日は美しいバーでカクテルタイムがあり、セットメニューが提供されました。
このホテルには2021年に何度か宿泊しましたが、今回の朝食ビュッフェは、品数が最も充実していました。水耕栽培の葉物野菜をカットしたサラダは特別感があります。

Before the day of soft launching, I stayed at 1 Bed Suite Room.
Simple, smart and affordable price !
All room rate include complimentary breakfast buffet. They have no swimming pool. But have gym, restaurant and meeting room.
Room is very clean, simple and comfortable. Usually when we stay at this category’s business hotel, room is very small. So just sleeping is good.
But this Holiday inn Express have many Suite rooms. ( all Suite room have Microwave !) They have 2 Bed room also. So you can relax even if you are in a hotel room during the day time.
Hotel’s lobby and restaurant is very big, nice place. They have laundry room too.
For business trip and budget traveler, it’s very good hotel!

ホリデーインのシンプルスマートブランド、ホリデーインエクスプレスジョホールバルホテル。タウンエリアのコンベンションセンターから徒歩5分ほどの場所。
ソフトオープン前日に、1ベッドスイートルームに宿泊しました。
1室RM100からというお手頃なビジネスホテルですが、広いロビーとレストランがあり、部屋も清潔で快適。全室朝食付き。
スイートルームも何部屋もあるようで、2ベッドスイートなら、RM240ほどで4人宿泊できるので、1人あたり朝食込みで1泊RM60(約1600円)！プールはありませんがジムとレストラン、ミーティングルーム、ランドリールームもあって便利。すべてのスイートルームには電子レンジがあります。
インターネット環境も問題なく、インターナショナルブランドなので安心して宿泊できて、出張やバジェット旅行者に最適。

Grand Opening! New hotel!
I attended the grand opening ceremony and stayed on the first day.
After long term MCO, new hotel opened in the heart of Desaru town.
10 minutes drive from the beach and water theme park. Weekend mornings and evenings there is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes to the beach (you can go to the Westin's private beach).
Maverick Loh, General Manager said:
“The most notable things about this hotel are: 1) it is a brand with 4-star international standards; 2) it works with the local community; and 3) it is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Group, which consists of 30 brands of hotels around the world, making it easy to earn points and get benefits.”
A simple but relaxing hotel with good sense. Room rates are reasonable, starting from RM242 per room. The rooms are spacious and have a resort feel to them despite being in the town area. All rooms have a terrace and coffee machine.
I like here so much !
The hotel is family friendly with free rental fee floating rings at the swimming pool, Games room available by reservation, Planetarium and tent in the family room.
“The Mesh” is an all-day dining restaurant with indoor seating and a terrace next to the pool, serving artisan coffee, craft beers and big portions of local and western cuisine.

新しいホテルがデサルの街中にオープンしました！グランドオープニングセレモニーに出席し、初日に宿泊しました。
ショップロットが連なる中にあるフォーポインツバイシェラトンデサルは、ビーチやウォーターテーマパークから車で10分の距離。週末の朝と夕方は30分毎にビーチ(Westinのプライベートビーチに入れます。)へのシャトルバスが出ています。
総支配人のMaverick Loh氏曰く、

シンプルながら落ち着くセンスの良いホテル。宿泊料金は1室RM242からとリーズナブル。部屋は広く、タウンエリアにありながらリゾート感も感じます。全室にテラスとコーヒーマシン付き。私はすっかり気に入りました。
プールでの浮き輪の貸し出しが無料だったり、予約によりゲームルームが使用できたり、ファミリールームにはプラネタリウムとテントが装備されていて家族連れにも優しいホテル。
オールデイダイニングの「The Mesh」には室内の席とプール横のテラス席があり、アルチザンコーヒーやクラフトビール、ビッグボリュームのローカル&西洋料理がいただけます。
11月末までの滞在予約で朝食がRM1になるプロモーション実施中。
