Proof Pizza + Wine was awarded #42 (2023) and #46 (2022) in the Asia-Pacific category of the world's most influential guide dedicated to pizzerias, "50 Top Pizza".
We visited for lunch, and there is a special weekday-only set price of RM28.9++ that includes a starter, main course, and drink.
We ordered a la carte, and the firm sourdough pizza was savory, juicy, and delicious. The appetizers and pastas were also excellent, and I thought it would be a good place to spend a relaxing evening with wine.

世界で最も影響力のあるピッツェリア専門ガイド「 50 Top Pizza」のアジアパシフィック部門で、Proof Pizza + Wine は42位(2023)、46位(2022)を受賞。
(ちなみに日本国内のピッツェリアは2023年にはトップ50に14店が入っています。)
ランチに伺いましたが、前菜とメインとドリンクでRM28.9++(約1000円)という平日限定なお得なセットもあり。
アラカルトでオーダーしましたが、コシのあるサワードゥー生地のピザは、香ばしくてジューシーでおいしかったです。前菜やパスタも素晴らしく、夜にワインを飲みながらゆっくり過ごすのも良い場所だと思いました。

It’s modern fusion & Italian style Vegetarian restaurant.
Not only Vegan and Vegetarian, but also Meat lover can enjoy their tastes.
And their fusion menu have a lot of Asian tastes. Mala, Nasi Lemak, Laksa etc.
Artisan Sourdough Pizza (made from old levain, fermented for 36 hours ) is their signature. BBQ mushroom & jalapeño pizza is new !
Soup pasta use angel hair. I like Green curry pasta. There are a lot of Lion’s Mane Mushroom.
Must order menu is Fried Broccoli & Cauliflower. Crunchy! The dipping sauce: Sun dry tomato hummus is so good!
And Their focaccia is super delicious! Sometimes I buy it and take away.

ヴィーガンやベジタリアンだけでなく、お肉が大好きな方にも楽しんでいただけるようなメニューと仕上がりです。
フュージョンメニューにはアジアンテイストが満載。麻辣、ナシレマ、ラクサなど。
サワードウ・ピザ（オールドルヴァンで作り上げられ、36時間低温発酵）は、この店のシグネチャー。クラストの歯触りが心地良い。BBQマッシュルームとハラペーニョのピザは新商品です。
スープパスタはエンジェルヘアーを使っているので、麺の歯応えを楽しむためにさっさといただきましょう。私はグリーンカレーパスタが気に入りました。ライオンマッシュルームがたくさん入っていて食べ応えがあります。
ブロッコリーとカリフラワーのフライ、レンコンチップスは前菜にマストオーダー。ディップソースのサンドライトマトフムスも美味しいです！
そして、ここのフォカッチャはとてもオススメ。私はたまに立ち寄ってテイクアウトしています。

I heard it’s The Best Italian Restaurant in KK for 20 years!
It’s classic, family Italian restaurant by Italian family. Pasta and pizza menu selection is awesome.
We can choose from 31 type of pasta menu with 17kinds of home made pasta. And there are more than 20type of pizza.
Pizza crust is standard thin crust.
I felt I was at the restaurant in small port town in Italy. The menu and taste is not fancy, not too much, just very very standard authentic Italian ! Such a real Italian feeling is very rare in Malaysia. I really like !
Taste is simple and nice. Hospitality is good. I want to try another dish too.

友人のElaineが薦めてくれたお店。
20年前からコタキナバルで一番おいしいイタリアンレストランといえばここ！だそう。
イタリア人家族によるクラシックで家庭的なイタリアンレストラン。
パスタとピザのメニューラインナップはいろいろあって素晴らしい。前菜とメインディッシュとデザートメニューは少しずつ。
パスタ(ソース)の種類は31種類、自家製生パスタは17種類から選ぶことができます。ピザも20種類以上あります。
ピザの生地は標準的な薄い生地。
実際、イタリアの小さな港町にあるレストランにいるような気分でした。メニューも味も、派手さはなく、過不足なく、ごくごく普通の本格的なイタリアン！このような本物のイタリアンの感覚は、マレーシアではとても珍しいです。とても気に入りました。
ホスピタリティもよかったです。他の料理も食べてみたい。

It’s Fusion Modern Cuisine managed by Vburg.
That’s why their breads are so good.
You must order Signature 5 Cheese pizza. A lot of cheese is good balance. Dough is crunchy, semolina flour is savoury.
One more “ must order” is Sourdough Foccacia. So delicious! I’m glad to buy here anytime.
Maybe it’s your first time to try Felmented drink “ Tepache”. It’s refreshing and so nice. It’s Mexican traditional healthy drink. Felmented from tropical fruits. Roots makes it from Pineapple. Try homemade Tepache too!
From 20 May, for 3days, they have membership promotion. Free Gelato and RM50voucher. Check the date!

JBで唯一のサワードウ・ピザを提供するお店、「Roots」。オースティンのサンウェイカレッジ近くのショップロットにあります。
オープン前のプライベートイベントに参加してきました。
パン系メニューがおいしいのは、Vburgが運営するお店だから。
シグネイチャーの5種のチーズピザは必食です。バランスの良いチーズの味わい、たっぷりのチーズ。生地はサクサクで、セモリナ粉が香ばしい。
もう一つの「マスト」はサワードウのフォカッチャ。このクオリティの味をいつでも買えるのが嬉しい。
メキシコ発祥のトロピカルフルーツから作る発酵飲料 "テパチェ "をご存じでしょうか。ここでは、パイナップルから発酵させて自家製で作っています。ほのかな酸味で爽やかでおいしい。お酒を持ち込んだら、ミクソロジストがこれでカクテルを作ってくれるそうですよ。ワインの持ち込みもOKとのこと。(持ち込み料必要)。
5月20日から3日間、メンバーシッププロモーションを開催するとのこと。100名限定で、ジェラートとRM50のクーポンがもらえるそうです。

アマリホテルのすぐ裏にあるカフェ。専用駐車場が左手にあります。
シンプルで落ち着くカフェですが、料理のクオリティはカフェ以上。軽食からしっかりしたメインディッシュまで、趣向を凝らした料理はどれもとてもおいしい。
営業時間が夜まで伸びて、魅力的な新メニューもたくさん登場。
トムヤムの香るオリエンタルなクリームソースのシーバス、塩昆布で旨味を出したマッシュルームパスタ、野菜たっぷりのピザ、臭みがなく柔らかいラムなど、味のバランスがとても良いです。

One of my favourite dinner place.
It’s Western & Mediterranean casual restaurant.
We can enjoy Wood-fired pizza in homemade stone oven and Charcoal Grill dishes.
Wood-fired Pizza is so good.
And our favourite is also Fish & Chips.
They don’t cook frozen fish. They buy freshest fish at fish market and fry.
Tartar sauce and French fry also super delicious.
I want to try hamburgers, pasta and other menus, but I can't ignore these delicious two items, so it's difficult to reach other menus. Tell me which menu is your recommend!

パルマスジャヤの大上海の並び、ショップロットの左端角にオープンして約1年の、バイカーコンセプトのウェスタンレストラン。
薪の火で石窯で焼くピザ、炭焼きグリル、パスタなどが楽しめるハラルのお店。
ガスを使わず薪の火だけで焼き上げるピザは絶品。
そしてもう1つのお気に入りはフィッシュ&チップス。冷凍品を使わず、魚市場で新鮮な魚を仕入れて作っています。タルタルソースやポテトの味もとてもおいしい。
ハンバーガーやパスタなど、他のメニューも食べてみたいけれど、いつもこの2品は外せなくて、なかなか他のメニューにたどり着けません。
ラマダン中の現在は、激混みではないらしいのでゆったりと食事ができます。

Coppola is Authentic Italian restaurant opening for 5 years.
Now this group has 5restaurants and a liquor shop in same shop lot.
This time I joined “Italian Wine Pairing Dinner event” RM199.
5 kinds of good Italian wine from Verona with International dishes from deferent restaurants of Coppola group.
” SARTORI” The winery started in 1898 when Pietro Sartori purchased a vineyard and a small cellar to stably supply good wine at his hotel. More than 100 years have passed since then, and the fourth generation is now in charge. Wines are made near Verona, Italy.
Classical white wine that goes well with seafood and red wine with complexity and intensity are smooth to drink, fruity and delicious.
After enjoy aperitif at Sofia Bar, we had dinner at Coppola. The dishes matched with these wines are Mexican( from Mexico), Italian( from Coppola), Turkey( from Istanbul) and Bulgarian plates. Very international !
Grilled seafood Kebab was super delicious.
Signature Grilled Bulgarian meatballs are tasty with spiced flagrant.
ホライズンヒルズで5年続くイタリアンのCoppola。今では同じショップロット内に、Sofia Bar, Mexico, Havana, Istanbul と5つのレストランとリカーショップがあります。どれも本格的で雰囲気も素晴らしい。
今回は、イタリアのヴェローナのワインセラー「SARTORI」の5種のワインとインターナショナル料理のペアリングディナーイベントに参加。
1898年、ピエトロ・サルトーリ氏が自分のホテルで良質なワインを安定して供給するため、畑と小さなセラーを購入したことをきっかけに始まったワイナリー。 それより100年以上の年月を経て、現在では4世目が指揮をとっています。 イタリアのヴェローナ近郊で作られたワイン達。
スッキリ爽やかな魚介に合う白のソアーヴェや、重みとインパクトがありつつも飲みやすいアマローネの赤など。どれもフルーティさがあっておいしい。
そして合わせる料理は、コッポラグループの各レストランからいろんな味が。食前酒に合わせたMexicoのケサディーヤはSofia Bar で楽しみ、その後はCoppolaのアランチーニ(ライスコロッケ)やIstanbulのトルコ風の牛肉料理や、ブルガリア風ミートボール など。シンプルでスパイスがきいた料理は、JBの他のレストランではいただけない味も多く、しみじみおいしいと感じました。
オープンしたばかりのトルコ料理「Istanbul」も見せてもらいましたが、内装が凝っていてトルコの雰囲気そのもの。26種類の前菜が用意されていたりと本格的で、次回訪れるのがすごく楽しみです。
こういうワインペアリングディナーは、たまにさまざまなレストランで催されていますが、その店の味が一通りわかるし、かなりお得感もあるので、要チェックです！

Authentic Italian restaurant. It is open for 5 years here. They want to make Horizon Hills a place where Johorian can eat food from various countries, another concept store will be opened one after another in the same street.
Sofia Bistro Bar, Mexico opened already.
Havana Bar, and Istanbul will open soon.
All provide authentic dishes. Atmosphere is romantic.
We had a mixed course of Mediterranean cuisine this time.
It is not surprise the grilled pizza here is delicious, but the Turkish spicy hamburg “Kyoufte”, and the cream sauce Ravioli were very nice. Crepe suzette and tiramisu are also absolutely delicious.

イタリア料理の美味しさはもちろんですが、トルコのスパイシーひき肉料理「キョフテ」やブルガリアサラダ、フレンチデザートのクレープシュゼットは誰もがにっこりする美味しさ。

オースティンのニューショップロットに新しくできた西洋料理店。ランチセット16.9RMはスープとガーリックブレッド、メイン、レモンティーがついてお得。海老のアーリオオーリオはちゃんとおいしかった。ピザも人気らしい。

JPOのフードコート内にあるチキンピザのお店。薄い大判のフライドチキンにピザの具が載ってて食べごたえ十分。マッシュルーム12.9RM ちゃんとピザ味がついているのにチリソースも添えられてるのがマレー流。
