The Art Walk 2.0 @ Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre, KL
Today I attended media launch event of The Art Walk 2.0.
It’s a pop-up showcase of Malaysian artists in collaboration with ZHAN Art | Space and RAAQUU.
Four rooms appear as you go deeper into the RBar with its beautiful chandeliers. There, every two months, the works of four artists will be exhibited.
The four artists whose works will be displayed until the end of October are,
Haris Rashid , oodplex, Peisy Ting, and Adil Abdul Ghani.

The different contemporary art pieces will be available for purchase, and you may even have a fateful encounter with one of them.
Today's event was a wonderful time to experience art while enjoying wine, mocktails, kombucha and delicious canapés.
I was also very happy with the art souvenirs I received.

今日はルネッサンスKLにて、The Art Walk 2.0 のメディアお披露目イベントに出席しました。
これは、マレーシアで生まれ育ったアーティストたちによるポップアップギャラリー。
シャンデリアの美しいRBarの奥に進むと現れる4つの部屋。そこで、2ヶ月ごとに４人のアーティストの作品が展示されます。
10月末まで飾られる4人のアーティストは、
Haris Rashid , oodplex, Peisy Ting, そしてAdil Abdul Ghani。

趣の異なる現代アートの作品は、購入することもでき、運命的な出会いがあるかも。
今日のイベントでは、ワインやモクテル、コンブチャとおいしいカナッペなどをいただきつつ、アートに触れる素敵な時間でした。

Sembang Sips at the rooftop bar by the pool at Aloft KL, a hotel directly connected to KL Sentral station. The concept is to have fun while chatting and drinking.
In celebration of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, there are a variety of unique cocktails with a Malaysian flair.
I had all five kinds this time, and my No. 1 was the Kelapa, a rum-based drink with the tartness of lime and the spiciness of chili buddy. My next favorite is the Memory Lane, a tequila-based, frozen cocktail with green guava and saltid plums.
Other Malaysian-inspired cocktails include a truly onde-onde flavor and an iced tea and passion fruit cocktail, etc.
The event is being held until October 22, 2024.

ムルデカとマレーシアデーを祝って、マレーシアらしさを取り入れた、ユニークなカクテルが勢揃い。
今回、5種類すべて飲みましたが、私のNo1はラムベースでライムの酸味、チリバディのスパイシーさが際立つ「Kelapa」。次に好きなのは、テキーラベースで、グリーングァバとソルティッドプラムのフローズンカクテル「Memory Lane」です。
他にもまさにオンデオンデの味わいや、アイスティーとパッションフルーツのカクテルなど、マレーシアらしさが満載。
10月22日まで開催中です。

There are so many attractive menu. Since this brand owner started food business from European style Vegetarian Bakery, must order their Sourdough Pizza ! So delicious!
Most popular menu is Laksa Angel hair. Oyster Omelette ( without oyster, replacement mushroom) is surprisingly deep umami. Plant-Base Char siew’s texture is amazing.

This casual udon shop is located at Shop Lot in Pandan Indah. The noodles are soft and firm, yet tasty. The price is very reasonable, and the lunch set menu can be ordered at dinner time as well. I really enjoyed the tsukimi udon (Dry) and the Karaage (fried chicken).

Fabulous Sunday Brunch at Michelin Selected restaurant: The Brasserie at St.Regis Kuala Lumpur.
This is the second time I have visited since this new Sunday brunch started in May.
Very elegant. Great time starting with an aperitif in the Astor Bar before the buffet time and ending with beautiful desserts. There is also live music. (Today it was violin.)
The emphasis is on quality rather than number of items. Although it is a buffet, you can enjoy it like a superb course, and the fullness is amazing. Highly recommended！Today they gave us Honey souvenir too!

Lala (clam) hot pot has been popular in KL and JB for the past few months. I had never had it yet, so I went looking for a restaurant to try it.
The staff stir fry ginger, garlic and chili with Chinese wine in an Claypot on a high flame charcoal fire, then add 1 kg of clams and broth.
And we eat steamboat with that full of clam broth.
There are several popular restaurants, and this restaurant seems to have three locations in the Klang Valley.
The clams were extremely fresh, not sandy at all, and beautifully processed. The hot pot served with the pure taste of clams is very tasty.
In addition to hot pot, there are other menu items such as clam noodle and clam fried rice that can be enjoyed by one person, and the drinks are extra large. It is a nice restaurant.

ここ数ヶ月、KLでもJBでも流行っているアサリ鍋。まだ食べたことがなかったので、お店を探して行ってみました。
炭火に載った土鍋にお酒と生姜、ニンニクとチリをいれて炒め、1kgのアサリとスープを入れて煮込みます。ずっとかなりの強火。
それからそのアサリだしたっぷりのスープでスチームボートをいただきます。
人気店がいくつかあると思いますが、このお店はクランバレーに3店舗あるよう。
アサリ(というよりはまぐり)はものすごく新鮮で、まったく砂を感じず、綺麗に処理されていました。純粋なアサリの味でいただくお鍋はとてもおいしいです。
鍋の他にも、1人でもいただけるアサリ鍋やアサリフライドライスなどのメニューがあり、ドリンクは特大サイズ。いいお店でした。

Local Chinese Restaurant beside of NSK supermarket.
There are very few casual and good local Chinese restaurants in my neighborhood, so I searched Google for one within 20 minutes of my house and found this restaurant was highly rated, so I came here.
Sunway Velocity Nearby area with many cars. There is an NSK supermarket right next to it so you can park your car there.
There were also plenty of local noodle menus, rice and side dishes for one, and dim sum from morning to afternoon.
We ordered three items that seemed to be popular items on the menu.
The stir-fried Winged Bean with lotus root and minced meat has a nice texture and is a great snack. It is a combination I would like to copy and cook at home. The garlic pork was excellent, with plenty of garlic fried in its skin and the crispy pork was savory.
The Hokkien mee was also delicious. Overall, the strong flavors made me want to drink beer. I wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood.

家の近所にカジュアルでおいしいローカル中華レストランがほとんどないので、Google で20分圏内で探すと、このレストランが評価が高かったので来てみました。
Sunway Velocity 近くの車が多い地区。すぐ横はNSKスーパーがあるので車はそこに駐車できます。
ローカル麺メニューや1人用のご飯とおかずも豊富で、朝から午後までは飲茶もありました。人気メニューと思われる3品をオーダー。
四角豆と蓮根とひき肉の炒め物は食感がよく、おつまみにも最高。家でも真似して料理してみたい組み合わせ。ガーリックポークはたっぷりのニンニクが皮ごと揚げられていて、サクサクのポークも香ばしくて絶品。
ホッケンミーもおいしかった。全体的に濃いめの味付けで、ビールを飲みたくなりました。近所にあって欲しいお店。
