International Women’s Day Cocktail Week 15 - 21 March 2022 in KL

Let’s celebrate women who have contributed to the development of Malaysia !
We can enjoy special IWDCW cocktails created in honour of these women at selected 13 Bars in KL. ( check the Bar list !)
In the same time, The funds raised during IWDCW22 will go towards “Happy Cure” maintaining happiness among children who are battling cancer.
I attended the special IWDCW event “Maiden Voyage by Caorunn Gin 琴琴有约”.
It’s also celebrating of “Thirst Magazine” 10years anniversary! This drinks magazine’s founder Kim Choong is one of the very first person to contribute the cocktail bar scene.
The venue “Three x Co” is one of “Asia’s 50 Best Bars”.
We enjoyed 3kinds of Caorunn Gin and special cocktails with them.

カクテルウィーク 3月15-21日 in KL
世界やマレーシアに貢献している女性を祝おう！クアラルンプールの13カ所のバーで、特別に作られたカクテルが楽しめます。(バーリストは上記のリンク参照。)
今回、「アジアのベストバー50」にも選ばれたバー、Three x Coでのスペシャルイベントに伺いました。
ドリンクマガジン「Thirst Magazine」の10周年記念でもあるこのイベントのホストは、Thirst MagazinのファウンダーであるKim Choong 氏(マレーシアのカクテルシーンでの第一人者の1人)。
Caorunn Gin の飲み比べと、これらを使用した、この夜限りの香り高い3種のカクテルをいただきました。
カクテルウィークでは、ガンと闘う子供たちに幸せを届ける団体へのチャリティーも行っています。

Stylish hotel with loft-inspired design.
It’s my first time to stay this hotel.
Rooms are spacious and functional. There is no lounge, but Titanium members were offered free drinks in the fridge and snacks.
The pool is on the roof and the breakfast is good with a wide selection.
Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water for showers.
Location is very convenient as it is connected to KL Sentral. There are restaurants, shops, supermarkets and everything else. A perfect hotel for a simple stay.

スタイリッシュなデザインホテル。
はじめてこのホテルに宿泊しました。
部屋は広く、機能的。ラウンジはありませんが、チタンメンバーには冷蔵庫の中のドリンクとスナック類が無料で提供されました。
プールは屋上にあり、朝食は品揃えも豊富でおいしいです。
清潔でベッドも快適。シャワーのお湯も豊富。
立地はKLセントラルに接続しているので非常に便利。レストラン、物販の店、スーパーマーケットなどなんでもあります。シンプルに滞在するのに申し分のないホテル。

A new hotel opening in 2019.
Located in Chinatown, surrounded by many atmospheric cafes and kopitiams.
From the bar, pool and gym you can see both the KL Tower and the Twin Towers.
The hotel is compact, yet simple and clean. Room rate start at around RM200 per night.
I stayed in a suite room for many nights. It has a living room and bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and a large mirror. There is no bathtub but it is very comfortable room.
The breakfast (RM30) is very good with a enough selection.
Good quality hotel for the price!

2019年開業の新しいホテル。チャイナタウンにあり、周りは雰囲気の良いカフェやコピティアムがたくさんあります。
バー、プール、ジムからはKLタワーとツインタワーの両方が見えます。
コンパクトなホテルながらに、シンプルで清潔。中国モダンエレメントがちりばめられていて素敵。1室RM200前後から宿泊できてお手頃。
今回私はスイートルームに連泊しました。リビングとベッドルームがあり、クローゼットスペースと鏡が大きい心地よい部屋です。バスタブがありませんがとても快適です。
朝食は品揃え豊富でとてもおいしい。
全体的に、価格に対するクオリティが高いです。

Very beautiful.

ああ。今まで知らなかった素敵なホテル。
友人のススメで宿泊しましたが、すっかり気に入ってしまいました。
EQは、1973年創業後、再開発のために2012年にクローズしたエクアトリアルホテルが、現代モダンマレーデザインを取り入れたラグジュアリーなコンセプトで2019年3月にオープンしたホテル。
クアラルンプール中心地にあり、客室が30階以上にあるため、遮られることなくどこからもツインタワーやKLタワーが眺められます。
入り口からその美しさにハッとする、ユニークな銅像たち(言わ猿、聞か猿、見猿を現代風にしたIwa, Kika, Mizaの像とか)、洗練されたホスピタリティ、そしてKLらしい眺め。ほとんどの部屋がバスタブ付きというのも嬉しいポイント。冷蔵庫内のソフトドリンクは無料で、延泊すると毎日補充してくれます。
今回、「プレミアキングツインタワービュー」の部屋に宿泊しましたが、部屋からもレストランやバーからも、プールからもKLの眺めが独り占めできる環境で、ここにいるだけでモチベーションが上がり頑張ろうと思える場所。
そしてなによりも、ホスピタリティが素晴らしく、大切にしてもらえていると感じられるホテルです。
一度ここに泊まったら、きっとここを好きになるでしょう。ぜひ体験して欲しいです。

It’s Asian and Western Cuisine.
Interior design with plants is relax feeling.
They have buffet and a la cart menu.
We had dinner buffet. RM98nett(adult) RM49nett(kids).
Actually their hospitality is super good.
The staff is attentive and makes you feel comfortable. It's a restaurant I'll go back to!
The dinner buffet does not have many items, but each dish is delicious and will satisfy you. I especially liked the variety and taste of the appetizers. I recommend the Seafood on Ice (the raw oysters are amazing), Satay, and the rich chocolate ice cream.

EQホテルのグランドフロアにあるオールデイダイニング。宿泊すると、朝食ビュッフェはここでいただきます。ルームサービスもここから運ばれます。
夜はアラカルトとビュッフェがあり、今回はビュッフェをいただきました。
品数はあまり多くはないのですが、さまざまな前菜や新鮮なシーフードなどの味が良いので満足感があります。
そしてホスピタリティが本当に素晴らしい。美味しく心地よく過ごせるので、また来たいと思わせるお店です。各種前菜、シーフードと焼き立てのサテ、アイスクリームが特におすすめ。個人的には、アイスクリームがとてもおいしいお店は、細かいところに気を配るいいお店だと思う。
KLの高級ホテルの中では、リーズナブルな価格帯のビュッフェです。

Contemporary European dining prepared with premium imported ingredients and local Malaysian products.
And It is Award-winning Rooftop restaurant located on the highest floor ( level 51) of EQ hotel.
It has an unobstructed twin-tower view, which is very romantic, so it is best to make reservations for dinner two weeks in advance.
They have course menu RM338, 438, 538 for lunch and dinner time.
And only lunch time ( Mon-Sat), there is Set lunch “ Chef’s Choice Of The Day” RM168. I had it.
The menu was
-Sour dough bread, Yuzu butter, salted butter and olive oil.
-Spicy Tuna’s amuse
-Asparagus Veloute, Seafood Dumpling, Salmon roe
-Duck Pithivert, Veal Sweetbread, Port wine jus
-Spiced Poached pear, Mascarpone Mousse, Pistachio snow
-Mignardises(petit fours).
The food is high quality with an elegant feel. Lunchtime is ideal for dinners and meeting lunches. At night, it will be a memorable dinner.

EQホテルの最上階にあるコンテンポラリーヨーロピアンレストラン。ツインタワービューで、遮るものが何もない51階。夜は2週間前など早めに予約した方がベター。昼は落ち着いていて、会食などに最適。夜はとにかくロマンチック。
コンテンポラリーというジャンルですが、王道も感じる上質でエレガントな料理たち。今回はランチタイム限定の日替わりセットRM168をいただきました。
本格サワードゥーのパンの酸味にはゆずバターの酸味がよく合います。メインディッシュは仔牛と鴨の手の込んだパイ包で、季節感を感じられて良かった。
