The all-day dining at Aloft Langkawi Hotel. With its bright, modern, and casual atmosphere, breakfast on the open-air al fresco seating overlooking the pool and the Andaman Sea is a delightful experience.
This time, we enjoyed not only breakfast but also the à la carte menu for lunch and dinner, as well as the buffet on Saturday nights.
À la carte Menu
I was pleased with the well-balanced selection of international and Malaysian dishes, offering plenty of choices. The snacks and appetizers were also impressive, including fusion salmon nori tacos, fried shrimp served with mango salsa and wasabi mayo, and tender calamari.
The clubhouse sandwiches and hamburgers were incredibly hearty.
Breakfast Buffet
Colorful and with a wide variety of options. I also appreciated that the menu changes daily. I thought the Indian-style dishes were particularly impressive. The dosas and several types of chutneys, such as beetroot, were very tasty. A great, energizing start to the morning.
Dinner Buffet
This was the Mother’s Day Tomahawk Themed Buffet. The seafood selection was abundant, and the quality of the grilled tomahawk and lamb was excellent. Among the various sauces served, the garlic-infused chimichurri was particularly delicious. Overall, the food was delicious and the variety was satisfying.

今回、朝食だけでなく、ランチとディナーにアラカルトメニュー、そして土曜夜にはビュッフェも楽しみました。
アラカルト
インターナショナル料理とマレーシア料理のバランスもよく、たくさんのチョイスがあるのが嬉しい。ヒュージョンのサーモンノリタコスやマンゴーサルサとわさびマヨでいただく海老フライ、柔らかいカラマリなどのスナック、アペタイザーも充実していました。
クラブハウスサンドやハンバーガーはものすごいボリューム感。
ブレックファーストビュッフェ
カラフルで品揃えも豊富。日替わりでメニューが変わるのも嬉しい。インド系の料理が特に充実していると思いました。ビーツなど数種のチャツネとドーサがとてもおいしい。エナジー溢れるいい朝のスタート。
ディナービュッフェ
この時のテーマはマザーズデイ、トマホークビュッフェ。シーフードメニューのセレクションも豊富で、トマホークとラムのグリルの質が高く、数種添えられたソースの中でもガーリックの効いたチミチュリが秀逸でした。

We took a three-day, two-night family trip to Langkawi over the weekend. This time, we stayed at Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah—a hotel where the stay itself is the purpose of the trip, rather than just a place to “sleep.” From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a colorful and open atmosphere. We were able to relax while enjoying a wide range of activities, leaving us feeling completely recharged, both mentally and physically.
We were deeply soothed by a 90-minute Malaysian massage and spent time enveloped by the tropical breeze at the stunning pool. The sea stretched out beyond our balcony, while mountains loomed at the entrance to the room on the opposite side. We even had the luxury of waking up naturally to the sound of birds in the morning.
What makes this hotel truly special is that you can “experience Malaysian culture through fun activities.” There are various activities available with just a day’s notice, and it was wonderful to enjoy everything from making cocktails and mocktails using pandan and coconut to batik dyeing and Malaysian cooking classes—all right within the hotel.
The spacious, modern guest rooms, sea-view balconies, walk-in bathrooms, and even a Kids Club for families make this a must-visit hotel where you can truly enjoy “hotel time” in Langkawi.
週末にランカウイへ2泊3日家族旅行。今回泊まったのは、ただ“寝るため”のホテルではなく、滞在そのものが旅の目的になる Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah。到着した瞬間からカラフルで開放的な空気に包まれ、ゆったりしつつもたくさんのアクティビティを満喫し、心も身体もリチャージされた感覚を得ることができました。
90分のマレーシアマッサージで深く癒され、絶景プールでは南国の風に包まれる時間。バルコニーの先には海、反対側の部屋の入り口には壮大な山々。朝は鳥の声で自然に目覚める贅沢も。
さらに、このホテルが特別なのは“マレーシア文化を遊びながら体験できる”こと。前日の予約で体験できるさまざまなアクティビティがあり、パンダンやココナツを使用したカクテル＆モクテル作り、バティック色付け、マレーシア料理教室までホテル内で楽しめたのは素晴らしかったです。
広々とした都会的デザインの客室やシービューのバルコニー、ウォークインバスルーム、ホテル内にはファミリーに嬉しいKids Clubまで完備。ランカウイで「ホテル時間」を楽しめる、外せないホテルだと思いました。

The buffet corner has a high quality and many selection. Including sparkling wine, fresh whole coconut juice, traditional Malaysian kueh, roasted chicken, fish head curry noodles and quiche etc.
You can also order as much as you like from the a la carte menu, which is also excellent.
Exquisitely cooked lobster omelette, smoked salmon eggs Benedict, steak and fried eggs, and many other tempting dishes.
Even if you don't stay overnight, it's worth just coming for breakfast.
A stuffed tiger is placed there to avoid animals.

ビュッフェコーナーにはスパークリングワインやフレッシュ丸ごとココナツジュース、マレーシアの伝統菓子クエ、ローストチキン、フィッシュヘッドカレー麺やキッシュなど、質が高く充実した品揃え。
アラカルトメニューからも好きなだけオーダーできますが、これがまた素晴らしい。
絶妙な焼き具合のロブスターオムレツ、スモークサーモンエッグベネディクト、フィレステーキと目玉焼き、など魅力的なメニューがたくさん。
宿泊しなくとも、朝食を食べに来るだけでも価値があります。
虎のぬいぐるみが置いてあるのは、動物避けのためだそうです。

Arrive at the majestic lobby, perched high above the trees. A buggy ride along green pathways to the villas, restaurant and beach, each with a different view.
The villa is so beautiful that as soon as you open the door, you will scream with delight.
We stayed in a rainforest view villa with a private pool.
The sea can be seen behind the vibrant greenery of the rainforest. The sun shining through the trees and the shadows of the trees, which change with the time of day, make you forget the passage of time without getting tired of looking at them all the time.
The sand on the private beach looks like a collection of tiny glass grains. We enjoyed a grilled dinner here while watching the sunset.
Morning’s Nature Walk also wonderful experience. We walk with a nature biologist who teach us about plants and animals.
The Ritz-Carlton garden was created with new plants while utilising the ancient intact rainforest. Ah. Beautiful !
This resort makes me definitely want to come back again.

木々の上にある、荘厳なロビーに到着。バギーに乗って緑あふれる小道を走り、ヴィラやレストランやビーチに行くとそれぞれが異なる景色。
ドアを開けたとたん、歓声をあげてしまうほどの美しいヴィラです。
今回、プライベートプール付きのレインフォレストビューのヴィラに宿泊しました。
レインフォレストの鮮やかな緑の奥に海が見えます。時間によって変わる木漏れ日や木々の影は、ずっと見ていても飽きず時間の経過を忘れさせます。
プライベートビーチの砂は、小さなガラス粒の集合体のよう。ここで夕日を見ながらのグリルディナーを楽しみました。
朝のネイチャーウォークも素晴らしい体験でした。自然生物学者と一緒に歩き、植物や動物について学びます。リッツ・カールトンの庭園は、太古の熱帯雨林をそのまま生かしながら、新しい植物を植えて作られたそう。本当に美しい。
また絶対来ようと思わせてくれるリゾート。

34 years history ! One of the most oldest Meen Hoon Kueh shop.
At the time of opening, the son, who was 4 years old, runs the store now.
They keep the same taste, but some regular customer order the Mee Hoon Kueh made by mother as a founder.
Ikan Bills 100% soup is thick and clear with the rich flavor of fish. They use same Ikan bills from Langkawi for 34years. Because it makes clear soup regardless boiling long time.
Everything is hand made. Tasty and heartwarming. After finish eating, you will want to eat again.
Some customers come to eat 3times per week!
Mee Hoon Kueh ( Soup) RM6.5, ( Dry) RM6.5, ( Curry) RM7. A lot of toppings !

ミーフンクエ専門店。モレックにお住まいの方ならたびたび通っているかもしれません。
34年前にセントーサでオープンした時には、ミーフンクエの店というのはJBに1-2店舗しかなかったそう。元祖のお店。その時4歳だった息子が今も同じ味を引き継ぎ、すべて手作り(ミーフンクエも包丁を使わず手でひねって作る！)で丁寧に味を守っています。
それでも常連の中には、母の麺を指定してオーダーする人もいるとか。
イカンビリス100%のスープは濃くてイワシの旨味がたっぷりなのに澄んでいてとても美味しい。ランカウイ産を34年間ずっと仕入れているイカンビリス。他の産地のものは、長時間煮込むと苦味が出たり濁ったりするので、ランカウイ産にこだわっているそう。
カリーミーフンクエは、具沢山。すべてリーズナブルでサイドメニューもいろいろ。
