This handmade pasta restaurant opened next to the 大上海 in Parmas Jaya. It is the reopening of the popular Terroir restaurant formerly located in Ponderossa, which has relocated to a new location.
Chef Jon's simple, strong, and creative dishes have many fans. Pasta is the main dish at this P52. There are a few appetizers and steaks, but the star of the show is the creative pasta. Not Italian, but Jon-style pasta.
The pasta is priced upscale, from RM55 to RM88 per plate, but customers kept coming back even during weekday lunch for its delicious taste.
The dish is full of ingredients and has a deep flavor. The tagliolini with clams with homemade smoked bacon and the shrimp creole spice tagliolini were both delicious, but the most popular "Burnt Ends" pappardelle pasta with pork jowl, burnt cream, and tapenade is a must. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was also very good.

パルマスジャヤの大上海の隣りにオープンした手打ちパスタレストラン。以前ポンデロッサにあった人気店Terroirが移転してリニューアルオープンしたお店です。
シェフJonのシンプルで力強くクリエイティブな料理にはファンがたくさん。このP52ではパスタがメインディッシュ。少しだけ前菜とステーキがありますが、主役は創作パスタです。イタリアンではなくJon式パスタ。
パスタは一皿RM55からRM88と高級価格ですが、その美味しさを求めて、平日ランチでもお客が続々と来ていました。
具沢山で深みのある味わい。自家製スモークのベーコンを入れたアサリのタリオリーニも、海老のクレオールスパイスのタリオリーニも美味しかったですが、1番人気の豚とろと焦がしクリーム、タップナードの「Burnt Ends」パッパルデッレパスタはマスト。芽キャベツの前菜もとても美味しかったです。

One of the most popular hotels in JB.St. Giles Hotel, a 4-star hotel attached to Mid Valley South Quay.
Because of its convenient location, it quickly fills up with Singaporeans who want to enjoy shopping.
I stayed two nights in a Premier Room this time.The living room and bedroom are separated, and the large windows offer an expansive JB panoramic view. The water is eco-friendly and you can get your own water from the water station in the hallway.
If you stay in a Premier room, you also have access to the executive lounge, and breakfast is available as a buffet as well as an a la carte menu. Even though I stayed here for shopping, I felt so relaxed that I didn't want to go out anywhere. How comfortable this room is !
Be sure to book early for weekends; most days in December are already full.

プレミアルームに宿泊すると、エグゼクティブラウンジも利用でき、朝食はビュッフェの他、アラカルトメニューも。買い物目当てでここに宿泊したとしても、どこにも出かけたくなくなるほど寛げました。
週末の予約はお早めに。12月はすでにほとんどの日が満室です。

It has been a long time since I stayed at the Renaissance Johor Bahru, a cozy and truly relaxing hotel. This time, they upgraded me to a pool terrace room.
A Renaissance specialty? s welcome message on the mirror, the welcome amenity of three sophisticated, creative, and delicious bottled salsas and mini cones, and the heartwarming hospitality with fresh presentation every time. The rooms are very clean and the staff is hospitable. The hotel is neither too dignified nor too casual, but rather comfortable with just the right amount of kindness and just the right amount of warmth.
The omelette at breakfast was creamy, rich, and very tasty.
I was also reminded that the location is very convenient for getting around by Grab, with easy access to JB Town and to the Austin and Molek areas.

ルネッサンス名物？の鏡へのウェルカムメッセージ、洗練されたクリエイティブでおいしい3種の瓶入りサルサとミニコーンのウェルカムアメニティ、毎回新鮮な演出に心温まるおもてなし。部屋はとても清潔で、スタッフもホスピタリティにあふれています。凛としすぎているわけでもなく、カジュアル過ぎることもなく、ほどよい優しさ、ほどよい温かさがなんとも心地よいホテル。
朝食のオムレツがトロトロクリーミーで濃厚で、とても美味しかったです。
また、JBタウンにも、オースティンやモレックエリアへもアクセスがよく、グラブで移動するのにとても便利な立地だと再認識しました。

Fabulous Sunday Brunch at Michelin Selected restaurant: The Brasserie at St.Regis Kuala Lumpur.
This is the second time I have visited since this new Sunday brunch started in May.
Very elegant. Great time starting with an aperitif in the Astor Bar before the buffet time and ending with beautiful desserts. There is also live music. (Today it was violin.)
The emphasis is on quality rather than number of items. Although it is a buffet, you can enjoy it like a superb course, and the fullness is amazing. Highly recommended！Today they gave us Honey souvenir too!

ホリデーインJBCCの週末ディナービュッフェ。シーフードオンアイス、寿司、BBQなどさまざまな料理があります。
私が気に入ったのは、オーソブッコのタイ風ヌードル。旨みのあるスープに少しだけ辛くて少しだけ酸味があり、はじめていただく料理でおいしかったです。ローストチキンやパッタイも良かった。8月からタイビュッフェが始まるそうです。
ゆったりと食事が楽しめます。

1, Morning walk
My First trip to Hoi An.
Flew from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang for 2 hours and 50 minutes. Then a 45-minute Grab ride to Hoi An.
Old Town, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port from the 15th to 19th centuries, and has deep ties with Japan, as there was a Japanese town there from the end of the 16th century until the isolation of Japan.
During the day, it was extremely hot with strong sunlight, so I took a walk from 8 am to noon to have breakfast, browse stores and markets, and have tea.
From the hotel where I was staying, I walked along the river to Old Town. It is a beautiful town.
For lunch, we had Hoi An's famous Cao Lau noodle dish and White Rose, a steamed spring roll skin made into a rose shape and topped with shrimp and ground pork. Cao Lau is said to have originated from Ise Udon noodles in Japan, and was a delicious noodle dish consisting of firm udon noodles topped with pork chashu pork and served with a soy sauce-based sauce.

クアラルンプールからダナンへ飛行機で2時間50分。それからグラブタクシーで45分くらいでホイアンに到着。
世界遺産にも登録されているオールドタウンは、15世紀から19世紀にかけての東南アジアの貿易港の保存状態の良い例として知られています。16世紀末から鎖国までは日本人街もあったくらい、日本との繋がりも深い街。
日中は強い日差しでものすごい暑さなので、朝8時からお昼くらいまで、散歩しながら朝食を食べたり、お店や市場をみたり、お茶をしたりしました。
宿泊しているホテルから、川沿いを歩いてオールドタウンへ。美しい街です。
ランチでいただいたのは、ホイアン名物のCao Lau (カオラウ)という麺料理とホワイトローズという春巻きの皮をバラ状に仕立て、エビと豚肉のすり身をのせて蒸したもの。カオラウは日本の伊勢うどんが発祥と言われているようで、コシのあるうどんにチャーシューのトッピング、醤油ベースのタレに絡めていただく美味しい麺料理でした。

"Bar Trigona has been nominated for The World's 50 Best Bars for five consecutive years and has been the No. 1 bar in Malaysia for many years.
In Asia's 50 Best Bars, it was #36 in 2023.
Located in the Four Seasons Hotel in KLCC, the space is beautiful, but the most notable thing about this bar is the sophistication and selection of Kuala Lumpur-inspired cocktails made with local ingredients. It also supports healthy beekeeping in Malaysia and has a wide variety of cocktails made with its own honey.
Every time I visit, it is upgraded, and the bee decorations and menu cards are a joy to behold.
Be sure to try the cocktails that are unique to this creative place. Smart casual dress code; 21 and older admitted. Walk-in only. Reservations are not required.

There is no club lounge here.
We had a la carte dinner and buffet breakfast in the main dining room "Tempus Fugit".
Marriott Bonvoy members offer their children free ice cream at the "French & Co." cafe between 5 and 6 pm. I also received a voucher for two free drinks at the Chemistry bar, which I enjoyed after dinner.

Tempus Fugit
The quality of the selection at the breakfast buffet was excellent, and although there was no special made-to-order menu, the seafood omelette with plenty of squid and shrimp was excellent with good texture. There was also char-grilled cobia (swordfish tuna), pork, Vietnamese specialty chicken rice, Korean food, and ice cream.
Breakfast price: (RM148(約¥4500)/adult RM74(約¥2250)/kids)
朝食ビュッフェは品揃えのクオリティも素晴らしく、オーダー式の特別メニューはありませんでしたが、イカや海老がふんだんに入ったシーフードオムレツは食感がよく絶品でした。炭火焼きのコビア(カジキマグロ)や豚肉、ベトナム名物のチキンライス、韓国料理、アイスクリームもありました。
For dinner, Vietnamese, Western, and Japanese dishes are on the menu, and we ordered three Vietnamese dishes (lobster and caviar spring rolls, bun cha, and braised cobia (swordfish tuna) with fresh pepper，all of which were excellent. The complimentary bread and butter are also of good quality.
ディナーはベトナム料理、西洋料理、日本料理がメニューにあり、ベトナム料理を3品(ロブスターとキャビアの生春巻き、ブンチャー、コビア(カジキマグロ)の煮物生胡椒添え)オーダーしましたが、どれも素晴らしく美味しかったです。無料のパンもバターも素晴らしいクオリティ。
Chemistry bar
The Chemistry Bar has a trendy atmosphere with an interior themed on the Faculty of Science. Cocktails and other drinks are available in the light of day while enjoying the view of the ocean, and at night in a moody atmosphere. There was also live music at night. Mixology classes and other classes are held regularly.
ケミストリーバーは、科学学部がテーマのインテリアで、おしゃれな雰囲気。明るいうちは海を眺めながら、夜はムーディーにカクテルなどをいただけます。夜は生演奏もありました。定期的にミクソロジークラスなども開催しています。

The cafe sold sandwiches, cookies, and afternoon tea.
