We wanted such a casual cafe at Desaru!
When you go to Desaru Beach, where do you have breakfast or lunch?
Usually I go to hotel for eating. But sometimes I want more casual, reasonable place.
This Kopitiam opened in September 2022. The place is road side, in Tunamaya Resort’s land.
There are many Kopitiam menu.
Especially I like their Curry Chicken and Lala White Beehoon.

デサルには、こんなカジュアルなカフェが欲しかった！
デサルビーチに行くとき、朝食や昼食はどこでとりますか？
普段はだいたいホテルで食事をしている方が多いと思いますが、たまにはもっとカジュアルでリーズナブルなお店に行きたいですね。
このコピティアムは2022年9月にオープンしました。場所は道路沿い、Tunamaya Resortの敷地内です。
定番のコピティアムメニューがたくさんあり、コピは安定のRM3.2。
いろいろいただきましたが、特にカレーチキンとホワイトビーフンがおいしかったです。

ツナマヤデサルでのクリスマスとニューイヤーイヴのディナービュッフェ。
2日間のみの開催です。
いろんなメニューがある中で、シェフの最もオススメする3品は、ミートボール入りのラザニア、オクラのチキンカレー、そしてチキンシャワルマサンドウィッチ。
ラザニアとムール貝入りのフライドライス、フィッシュフライが美味しかったです。
海沿いのディナービュッフェをエンジョイ！

I attended collaboration dinner at FirePitz!
Because I really like creation of these 2 restaurants and 1 pastry chef !
You know, I often enjoy dinner at FirePitz. And previously, Terroir and Moogle desserts ( at Ponderosa) were one of my favourite place. Now, they have only 12 seats and renewed menu, they are opening like hidden restaurant. So Only Gourmet people know their tastes.
This time, the dinner was like “LIVE COOKING SHOW". Once grilled, the ingredients and sauces are brought out immediately and finished on banana leaves.
Simple, savoured foods and pairing wine were so good.
And “Moogle Desserts: Pattisier Charlene”s desserts were amazing ! ( too bad! I missed to take photo with her.)

FirePitzでのコラボディナーパーティーに参加しました。
この2つのレストランと1人のパティシエのt作る料理とデザートがとても好きなので、すぐに参加を決めました。
私がよくFirePitzで食事をしているのはご存知の通りですが、ポンデロッサのTerroirとMoogle Dessertsも以前のお気に入りのひとつでした。今は12席しかなく、メニューもリニューアルして、広告も一切打たず、隠れ家的なレストランとしてオープンしていて、グルメな人が集まる場所になっています。
今回のディナーは、まるで「ライブ・クッキング・ショー」のようでした。焼きあがった食材とソースは、すぐに運ばれてきてバナナの葉の上で仕上げられます。
シンプルで味わい深い料理とワインとの相性は抜群でした。
そして、"Moogle Desserts”のパティシエCharlene "のデザートは最高でした。(一緒に写真を撮り損ねたのが残念。)

I attended the grand opening ceremony of Y Space, a cultural destination in a renovated historic building.
Ground floor is Bakery Cafe and Select Shop, Upstairs is Event spaces with beautiful water paintings by Johorean Artists.
So Amazing ! 120years historic bungalow has been serving as a residence, Russian restaurant, School, and now a curated creative space!
It’s packed with Each age, deferent People’s memories!!
I think Having such a cultural place is really good for Johor Bahru.
Speech by Datuk Bandar Johor Bahru, Think City, and Founders were very meaningful and interesting.

歴史的建造物を改装した文化施設、Yスペースのグランドオープニングセレモニーに参加しました。
1階はベーカリーカフェとセレクトショップ、2階はイベントスペースで、ジョホール出身のアーティストによる美しい水彩画が飾られています。
120年の歴史を持つ美しいバンガローは、時代の移り変わりによって住居、ロシア料理店、学校として利用され、現在はキュレーションされたクリエイティブなスペースとして利用されています。
120年前は個人宅として使われ、60年前はロシアレストラン、30年前はアートスクールだったのです。その時代の人によってここに異なる思い出があるということに、歴史の壮大さを感じます。
このような文化的な場所があることは、ジョホールバルにとって本当に素晴らしいこと。
Datuk Bandar Johor Bahru、Think City、そして創設者のスピーチはとても有意義で興味深いものでした。

Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort Desaru @ Desaru, Johor
The Tunamaya Resort is a hotel along Desaru Beach, with all rooms facing the sea.
I had stayed there three times before, about five years ago, and at the time it felt old. Most of the rooms have now been renovated and are simple and clean, and it is a reasonable and comfortable place to stay among the hotels in Desaru, where prices are rising.
80% of all rooms are connecting rooms, so a family of 4-8 people can stay in two rooms.
The hotel has a large pool and private beach, where you can relax and enjoy the resort atmosphere.
There is a popular seafood Chinese restaurant, Nelayan Seafood, and a casual kopitiam on site, where you can spend time without going out.

以前、5年ほど前に3回くらい宿泊したことがありますが、その時は古さを感じました。現在はほとんどの部屋がリノベーションが終わり、シンプルで清潔になっていて、価格の高騰が進むデサルのホテルの中では、リーズナブルで過ごしやすい場所。
全室のうち80%がコネクティングルームなので、4-8人の家族でも2室を使用して宿泊できます。
プールもプライベートビーチも広く、ゆったりとリゾートの雰囲気を楽しめるホテル。
敷地内に、人気の海鮮中華レストラン「Nelayan Seafood」やカジュアルなコピティアムもあり、出かけずに過ごせます。
