The Ritz-Carlton's newly revamped Afternoon Tea.
Classic and authentic afternoon tea served in the spacious Lobby Lounge by guest pastry chefs HOSS and ZAHRA from L'NOP.
The experience of choosing from 31 different teas, each with its own aroma to compare and choose from is wonderful.
The scones, finger sandwiches, quiches, and cakes are all of high quality and delicious, and since you can enjoy them from 12 noon, it is a very good alternative to lunch. They pour hot water into the teapot several times.
Also, if you order by yourself alone, they offer half the quantity for half the price.
Elegant and fine quality afternoon.

Beef Wellington and short rib stew, freshly made Blue River Prawn Masak Lemak, Whole steamed fish and chili crab, Three kinds of chicken rice, a variety of Malay dishes that the chef who cooked them knows how to prepare, French, Indian, Middle Eastern and sushi! A very enjoyable weekend buffet with more tempting dishes than you can eat.
I especially liked The fish dish with shrimp and scallops broth cream sauce and The gnocchi with king prawns and spinach.
The hotel's buffet also has an amazing selection of cheeses.
The Lobster Market Buffet at Sofitel Damansara Hotel that will bring a smile to everyone's face. I highly recommend it!

The fine and delicious lunch by Chef Justine from Sichuan, in a space overlooking the Twin Towers, can be done alone, with friends, or for a business lunch, and is very useful.
In addition, tea, daily signature side dish, rice, soup, and dessert are free refills.
The four main dishes include spicy cumin-scented lamb stir-fry, tender beef and potato stew, chicken and mushroom-stuffed noodles, and tomato seafood noodle soup with a delicious broth that you will want to drink up.

On Monday, two weeks after Uncle Roger's Fried Rice Shop opened, I went first thing in the morning, just in time for the 10:00 am opening.
As it turns out, it was very good! It was well seasoned, the rice was cooked well, flavorful and wok hei, and a little spicy and deep taste.
It is not Chinese fried rice, but rather the best Malaysian Chinese -style fried rice!
The Mala Shrimp Oil on the table was so good that if they sold it in bottles, I would have definitely bought some to take home.
In fact, before going there, I had heard both sides of the reputation, "very good" and "ordinary and nothing special," and since the menu was pretty narrowed down, with only three standard fried rice dishes, some toppings, and sides, I did not have high expectations for the taste.
However, I was eager to try it again.
This time, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated, and our fried rice was served an hour after we ordered. 50-60 seats, very packed, but 1-2 servers. It took us 2 hours from the time we got there to the time we left, so I would recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get there.

アンクルロジャーのフライドライスショップがオープンして2週間後の月曜日、朝1番、10時の開店に合わせて行きました。
結論から言うと、とてもおいしかった！しっかり味がついていて、ご飯はパラパラ、風味豊かでwok hei (中華鍋の調理で最高の味や香りそ引き出していること)で、少しピリ辛で奥深い味。中華系のチャーハンというより、まさにマレーシア風の最高のフライドライス！
テーブルに置かれたマーラーシュリンプオイルがものすごく美味しくて、瓶で売っていたら絶対に買って帰りたい味でした。
実際、行く前は、「とても美味しい」「普通の味で特別ではない」と、両極端の評判を聞いていたし、メニューもかなり絞られていて、スタンダードなフライドライス3種といくつかのトッピング、サイドメニューがあるだけなので、味に期待はしていませんでした。
ですがまた食べたくなるような味でした。
今回、約30分待って着席し、オーダーしてから1時間後にフライドライスがサーブされました。50-60席あって超満員ですが、サーバーは1-2名。店についてから出るまでに2時間かかったので、時間に余裕を持って来店するのをおすすめします。

On Monday, two weeks after Uncle Roger's Fried Rice Shop opened, I went first thing in the morning, just in time for the 10:00 am opening.
As it turns out, it was very good! It was well seasoned, the rice was cooked well, flavorful and wok hei, and a little spicy and deep taste.
It is not Chinese fried rice, but rather the best Malaysian Chinese -style fried rice!

When I heard that Park Hyatt Tokyo's Executive Pastry Chef Julien Perrinet and Grand Hyatt KL's Chef Low Kin Kang were collaborating, I Must Go !
The theme of this afternoon tea is the blooming gardens of the Grand Hyatt.
It was so beautiful, delicious, fulfilling and wonderful.
THIRTY8 boasts a dynamic panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur as the backdrop for a menu that incorporates sustainability and locally sourced ingredients.
The savory dishes are like a course lunch, including oriental steamed fish, deep-fried dishes, and the exquisite white corn steamed egg custard. The 13 items are a perfect combination of the best, including delicate Japanese feeling cakes and ice cream to finish. Drinks are refill free, so you can get a very good value for your money.
I went on a weekday during lunch time and it was extremely crowded.
Highly recommended.

Courtyard by Marriot Kuala Lumpur South @ Puchong, KL
Newly opened Courtyard Hotel in Puchong in June 2024.
We stayed there for one night at the beginning of a holiday weekend.
It is located on top of a new shopping mall, which is very convenient as the mall has a large supermarket with a wide selection of goods 24 hours a day, a convenience store, and a number of restaurants. The rooms are new and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The view from the room is a mix of the dynamic city and the peaceful townscape, which I never get tired of.
The pool is small. It was very crowded with families on holidays.
Breakfast is of better quality than business hotels in the same price range. The French-style dishes, such as potato diffinois (potato gratin), chicken stew, and confit (in oil) ingredients for salad were very carefully prepared and tasted very good. I had the opportunity to take a picture with Executive Chef Victor, who has worked in hotels in many different countries.
The hotel made me feel like I was traveling to a new city, perhaps because I was in Kuala Lumpur, but in an area I don't usually visit.

Puchongに2024年6月にオープンしたばかりのコートヤードホテル。
連休のはじめに1泊しました。
新しいショッピングモールの上にあり、モールには24時間営業の品揃え豊富な大きなスーパーやコンビニ、いくつものレストランがあってとても便利。部屋は新しいからとても清潔。スタッフも皆にこやか。快適に過ごせました。
部屋からの眺めもダイナミックなシティとのどかな街並みが混在していて飽きません。
プールは小さめです。休日は家族連れでとても混雑していました。
朝食は、同価格帯のビジネスホテル以上のクオリティ。とてもセンスがよく、とくに、ポテトのディフィノア(ポテトグラタン)やチキンのシチュー、サラダ用のオイルでコンフィした具材など、フレンチ系のメニューの丁寧さとおいしさが際立っていて、コストをかけなくても確かな腕のシェフがいれば満足感はすごく高いというのを再認識。さまざまな国のホテルで腕を振るってきた、エグゼクティブシェフのVictor氏と写真を撮らせていただきました。
クアラルンプール内にいるのに、普段来ない地域だからか、新しい街に旅をしたような気分になれるホテルでした。
