Delicious ice coffee and Authentic Japanese Cafe’s meals. Camera, old clothes and plants. A café just like the one in Shimokitazawa(下北沢), one of Tokyo's most unique and popular districts, has been created in JB Town.
A small and simple place, but full of attention to detail. Delicious udon noodle soup( homemade Dashi broth!) , Japanese Curry rice with authentic flavours, Hand drip and cold brew coffee that is authentic, delicious and affordable. Food and cakes menu are simple. But they are very tasty.
This cafe’s concept is something new in JB. I think you will love here.

おいしいアイスコーヒーと軽食を手軽にいただける、魅力的なカフェがJBタウンにオープン！
下北沢に住んでいたこともあるTakuさんと仲間達で作ったこだわりのカフェ。下北沢にあるような、シンプルだけど個性的な場所。美味しくて本格的なハンドドリップやコールドブリュー、12時間抽出するスッキリとしたコールドドリップコーヒーなどが、毎日飲みに来たくなるお手頃価格。
関西風うどんは麺にコシもあり、出汁を鰹節や昆布からとった自家製スープ。カレーライスはコクがある本格日本味。チキン照り焼きサンドやホワイトソースのトースト、ケーキ類もおいしかったです。店内ではカメラや(フィルムの現像もできます。)観葉植物、古着なども展示販売。
シンプルで個性的なこの場所を、いつもふらっと寄る場所として、ものすごく気に入る方も多いことでしょう。

ご存じでしたか？ミーレブスは、ジョホール発祥の麺料理。インドネシアから伝わった麺料理をアレンジしたと言われているこの料理。甘くほのかにスパイスの香るとろりとしたソースが黄色い麺にかかっていて、食べてすぐに材料を言い当てるのが難しい、日本にはない味。干し海老や牛肉の出汁を使い、さつまいもで甘みを出しています。
KSLの近くにある一軒家の人気店が、ヌサジャヤのプテリコーブにオープン。同じ味がいただけます。その日作った分はその日中に売り切るというポリシー。トッピングが選べます。
骨髄をストローでいただく羊の骨の「ギアボックス」、ぜひお試しを！
ボリュームたっぷり。ナシレマもとても美味しいです。

It’s behind of Amari hotel. I realised there was new container house, so visited.
They serve typical Italian menu like Spaghetti, Pizza, Risotto etc.
The glass-walled restaurant is simple and bright. Good atmosphere for brunch and lunch.
Spaghetti and Risotto is Al dente. Texture is very good. (I always feel risotto in JB is too soft. Not authentic taste.)
I like this “Risotto al Granchio” (Tomato Cream Crab risotto). Carbonara use Smoked duck bacon. Good!

ニューオープン！Amariホテルの裏道に、新しいコンテナハウスができたと思ったら、カジュアルイタリアンレストランがオープンしました。
パスタ、リゾット、ピザを中心とした典型的なイタリアンメニュー。
店名のアーリオオーリオを注文すべきかと思いましたが、今回はカルボナーラスパゲティ、カニのトマトクリームリゾット、スモークサーモンのピザをオーダー。
スパゲティとリゾットはちゃんとアルデンテ！特にリゾットは、JBのどこでいただいてもお米が柔らかすぎるので、本格食感が嬉しかったです。カニのトマトクリーム、おいしかったです。カルボナーラのスモークダックベーコンもいい感じ。
ピザはスモークサーモンがたっぷりで、ちょっと塩っぱいと感じたのと、自家製ドレッシングはいらないかと思いましたが、個人の好みで。
カジュアルな価格帯で、明るい店内は、ブランチやランチにピッタリ。

First time in 3 months at the Westin Desaru Coast, we stayed on the first day of CNY so it was very packed but we were enough comfortable in the sea, by the pool and at the buffet breakfast.
This time we stayed in a Suite room on the Anantara side. This is a great, bright room with sea views from both the living room and bedroom terraces.
In addition to the gift of fruit and cookies, we were served Mandarin and homemade pineapple cookies, a unique Chinese New Year treat.

3ヶ月ぶりのウェスティンホテルデサルコースト。CNY初日の宿泊だったので、ほぼ満室でしたが、プールでも海でも、予約制の朝食ビュッフェでも、十分快適に過ごせました。
今回、アナンタラ側の1ベッドスイートルームに宿泊しましたが、リビングと寝室、両方のテラスから海が見え、明るくて素敵な部屋でした。このウェスティンでは建物の両サイドにスイートルームのがありますが、このアナンタラ側の方が明るくて雰囲気が良くて好きです。
フルーツとクッキーのギフトの他、CNYならではの、みかんとパイナップルクッキーをいただきました。

The founder Madam Shirley started Pork noodle stall since 2002. And Started this Shop since 2015 at Subang Jaya.
Signature Pork Soup base include Pork Bones is made by over 8hours boiling.
So it’s thick and rich broth.
We can choose 7 kinds of noodles and rice.
The soup is delicious and full of meat, you can see why it is so popular!

オースティン、コンベンションセンター向かいにオープンした豚肉麺専門店。KLに3店舗あり、JBでは初の店舗。
2002年に屋台からスタートし、2015年にはスバンジャヤで初の店舗。今までで20年続く味。
豚骨などを8時間以上煮込んだスープは濃くて旨味たっぷり。
お肉全部入りが1番オススメ。内臓系も臭みはありません。かなりたっぷりのお肉が入っていて、食べると人気のほどがわかります。
基本のスペシャルスープに追加料金RM2で紹興酒をオーダーして、好きな量をいれると最も美味しい！
トムヤム味もおいしいです。マーラーはかなり辛い。ご飯もあり、スープご飯メニューもあるので、小さな子も好きな味だと思います。

Thistle Johor Bahru Hotel’s CNY2022 has Buffet and Set menu.
My photos are based Buffet on 31st Jan dinner time. But actually you will enjoy more dishes!
Fresh, chunky slipper lobster and other cold seafood, a beautiful and opulent BBQ section, Peking duck and whole baked salmon, a wide variety of main dishes, and (surprisingly) the most popular dish for us was an ingenious one: stuffed squid in a Nyonya curry.
The flamboyance of the dish and the deliciousness of the flavours were a perfect match.

新鮮で身の詰まったスリッパロブスターなどの冷製シーフード、美しく豪勢なBBQコーナー、北京ダックに丸ごとベイクドサーモン、バラエティ豊かなメインディッシュ、そして(意外なことに)、私たちにとって1番人気の料理は、工夫を凝らした料理: 詰め物が入ったイカのニョニャカレー。
全体的に、お料理は、見た目の華やかさと味のおいしさがちゃんとマッチしていました。オススメ。

What a fulfilling and delicious meal!
It’s the 1st Flame Grill Restaurant in JB opened 3months ago.
It’s my 3rd time visit. Their dishes caught my stomach.
Now their popular menu is Beef Steak.
But this time I ordered only Seafood dishes.
Let’s say, “Miso Fish Cheek” and “ “Miso Crab( today’s special)” , Burnt Caesar Salad( I didn’t order today) is Must-Order dishes.
Simple, fresh, with straw and charcoal aroma, so delicious!
Seafood Pasta is sumptuous dish.
Homemade Brioche and crispy butter is heaven. Dessert “I’m not Apple pie” also simple and good.
This restaurant is already my Regular Repeat restaurant. Highly recommended!

ああ、おいしくてすごく満足な食事。
ホライゾンヒルズの新しいショップロットの2階にできた直火焼きレストラン。
ファインダイニングのエッセンスや日本などのヒュージョン感を取り入れつつも、基本は薪の炎でシンプルに焼いた料理ばかり。
今回で3回目でした。
メニュー数はあまり多くないですが、その日のステーキやシーフードが黒板に書いてあるのでチェック。
ミソクラブは丁寧に解したフラワークラブを白味噌と蟹味噌で和えて焼き、藁の香りをまとって登場。濃厚で甘くて本当に美味しかったです。
直火焼きで香ばしいタラのカマの味噌焼きは必須オーダー。和食とも思えるこの魚料理は毎回食べたい一品。
新メニューのパスタは、ロブスターやカニ、イクラが入って豪華。自家製ブリオッシュは特別な裏メニュー。りんごのデザートは王道です。
シェフの創作意欲、探究心に今後も期待できるお店。
ワインもお手頃だし、毎月通いそうな予感。

I had Longevity Set RM1088 for 8pax.
It’s traditional Chinese dishes with something fusion elements, Beautifully presented dishes full of edible flowers.
Taste is elegant and good!
We like Deep-Fried Chicken with Rojak sauce very much !
The Salmon Yee Sang use vegetarian Salmon. So everyone can enjoy it! The texture is almost real salmon. So if they didn’t mention it was vegetarian salmon, we wouldn’t know.

伝統的な中華料理メニューを基本にしつつ、盛り付けにエディブルフラワーを取り入れてヒュージョン風の盛り付けに。
美しくてエレガント。味も優しく程よく美味しいです。
イーサンには、どなたでも楽しめるようにベジタリアンサーモンを使用。大豆ジェリー的な原材料で作られたサーモンですが、言われないとわからないような、かなり本物のサーモンに近い食感でした。

Renaissance hotel’s Wan Li Chinese restaurant serve 3kinds of Set menu on 31th Jan.
And Sumtuous Treasure Pot” Poon Choi”(17kinds of ingredients !!) and 4kinds of Yee Sang.
We enjoyed Set menu C ( RM2488 for 10pax).

3つのコースがあり、Cコースをいただきましたが、アワビ入りのイーサンからはじまり、トリュフと並ぶ高級食材、モリーユ(アミガサタケ)とチキンのダブルボイルドスープ、アワビやナマコ、干し牡蠣、海老や鴨など17種類もの具材満載のトレジャーポット、ポンティアン産のマナガツオのガーリックソース蒸し、アワビときのこの中華風リゾット、アロエとパッションフルーツのレモングラスゼリー、粘りのある自家製ニエンガオと、おめでたさ満載です。洗練された味はとてもおいしい。

New hotel opened in Nov 2021.
The location is shop lot area in Desaru town, 10min drive from Desaru beach.
They have free shuttle bus every 30min to Beach on weekends, so I enjoyed morning walk at Westin’s private beach.
Room size is big. Price is affordable. International class hospitality.
So when I want to stay around RM200-400 per night in Desaru, I will choose here every time.
During Chinese New Year term, they have Buffet dinner (Buy 1 Free 1 !).

2ヶ月前にデサルの街中にオープンしたホテル。ショップロットが連なる前にあります。
目の前にはスーパーやカフェ等。
ビーチやウォーターテーマパークから車で10分の距離。週末の朝と夕方は30分毎にビーチへのシャトルバスが出ていて、私も朝8時の最初のシャトルでWestinに送ってもらい、ビーチを散歩しました。(行きと帰りの時間を予約します。)
シンプルながら落ち着くセンスの良いホテル。部屋は広く、リーズナブルで快適、レストランThe Meshも雰囲気がいいので、この価格帯でデサルに宿泊する場合は、私はいつもここを選ぶと思います。
CNYシーズンはビュッフェディナーが楽しめます。
