The Marriot Bonvoy Malaysia Review Group, a Facebook group of hotel enthusiasts that I run with my friend Uncle Choong, held its 4th gathering party.
The location was the gorgeous suite room at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur hotel.
About 20 guests enjoyed conversation and the new Atelier Choux-themed afternoon tea.
Recently St.Regis KL’s Sunday Brunch is renewed. It’s so nice ! (Later I will write review.)
And all guests were presented with a lovely gift of Strawberry Burnt Cheese cake and Matcha Mochi desserts from Fans - Premium Sweets Foundry. Their shop is in Mont Kiara and Seibu, TRX. Great popularity! Thank you so much !

20名ほどのゲストが、会話と新作のAtelier Choux テーマのアフタヌーンティーを楽しみました。セントレジスでは最近サンデーブランチビュッフェがリニューアルし、とても素敵です。(のちほど詳細を書きます。)

Happy Mother’s Day !
We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant in Pullman Hotel.
The decor in the restaurant, with its precious red color, is modern, avant-garde and nice.
The menu is Cantonese based, upscale Chinese.
The food was generally well seasoned, with a few exceptions. The dim sum, fried bean curd skin with shrimp and cheese was very delicious. The food was standard compared to the avant-garde atmosphere of the restaurant, so I felt the price was high as ordinary food.

ハッピーマザーズデー！
プルマンホテル内の中華レストランでランチをしました。
赤が貴重な店内のデコレーションは、モダンでアバンギャルドで素敵です。
メニューは広東料理がベースの、高級中華です。
一部を除いて、全体的に良い味付けでした。点心の、エビとチーズの湯葉揚げはとてもおいしかったです。お店のアバンギャルドな雰囲気に対して、料理はスタンダードでしたので、普通の料理にしては価格が高めだと感じました。

"Bar Trigona has been nominated for The World's 50 Best Bars for five consecutive years and has been the No. 1 bar in Malaysia for many years.
In Asia's 50 Best Bars, it was #36 in 2023.
Located in the Four Seasons Hotel in KLCC, the space is beautiful, but the most notable thing about this bar is the sophistication and selection of Kuala Lumpur-inspired cocktails made with local ingredients. It also supports healthy beekeeping in Malaysia and has a wide variety of cocktails made with its own honey.
Every time I visit, it is upgraded, and the bee decorations and menu cards are a joy to behold.
Be sure to try the cocktails that are unique to this creative place. Smart casual dress code; 21 and older admitted. Walk-in only. Reservations are not required.

It’s French- Italian Cuisine inside Sofitel hotel in Damansara.
We dined here on the recommendation of friends.
The menu has a large selection of appetizers and a tempting array of main dishes, pizzas, and pastas.
The burrata and tomato appetizer is sweet and rich with tomatoes; the T-bone steak is a good choice for a reasonably sized order.
Calm space, beautifully presented, delicious and moderately priced. The complimentary focaccia and amusements are a nice touch.
Lunch sets are available on weekdays during the day.
In the evening, they have hotel memberships that offer 50% off food when two people dine together, which is a very good deal; there was also a happy hour for drinks from 6:00 to 8:00.
Definitely a place to repeat.

友人達のおすすめで、ここで食事をしました。
前菜の品揃えが多く、メインディッシュやピザやパスタなど、魅力的なメニューがたくさん。
ブッラータとトマトの前菜はトマトが甘くて濃厚。Tボーンステーキはお手軽なサイズでオーダーできるのが良い。
落ち着いた空間、美しい盛り付け、おいしいし程よい価格。無料のフォッカッチャとアミューズも嬉しいです。
平日昼はランチセットがあります。
夜は、2名で食事をすると料理が半額になるホテルメンバーシップがあってとてもお得。6時から8時まで、お酒のハッピーアワーもありました。

The breakfast buffet at St. Regis Kuala Lumpur.
In addition to the buffet, the specials that can be ordered have been renewed and new menu items have been added. The chicken rendang and seafood dumplings are beautifully presented and the signature lobster omelette is a must order because it is so delicious.
The buffet has a large selection of Malay dishes, probably because it is just after Hari Raya. There was also a roasted lamb leg and more.
For years, I think the chicken and beef sausages here are the best quality of any hotel breakfast in Malaysia. The sausages are so wonderful, the meat is delicious and seasoned to perfection.
A wonderful and elegant breakfast time. I think the price is reasonable for this quality.

セントレジスクアラルンプールの朝食ビュッフェ。
ビュッフェの他、オーダーできる特別メニューはリニューアルし、新しいメニューが加わりました。チキンレンダンやシーフード餃子はプレゼンテーションも美しく、シグネイチャーのロブスターオムレツはとても美味しいのでマストオーダー。
ビュッフェではハリラヤ開けだからか、マレー料理が多めのセレクション。ラムレッグのローストなどもありました。
何年も前から、ここのチキンソーセージとビーフソーセージはマレーシアのホテル朝食の中でベストなクオリティだと思います。お肉の美味しさ、味付け具合がとても素晴らしいソーセージ。
優雅で素敵な朝食時間。このクオリティにして価格はリーズナブルだと思います。

About 20 guests enjoyed conversation and the new Atelier Choux-themed afternoon tea.
Guest speakers Jackson and Lim gave interesting speeches on "How to Book Luxury Hotels at Even Better Deals".
In their lucky draw, participants won free nights at W Hotel Bangkok and RM500 travel vouchers etc.

I entered this restaurant by chance as I passed by and was very satisfied with my lunch.
Southern Italian bistro & restaurant located in Damansara City Mall.
Stylish atmosphere and authentic menu. The first thing that grabbed our attention was the focaccia and the delicious three different sauces.
One bite of the octopus and potato salad with lemon pesto sauce tasted so Italian that it made us feel as if we were in Italy.
The pizza and tiramisu were both very tasty and made me feel like I was on vacation.
The hospitality of Mr. Kamrul, who took care of our table, was professional and really great, and it was a lovely restaurant.
There is also a terrace, so it looks like it has a nice atmosphere at night as well. I will visit again.
They have a same group restaurant in Avenue K in KL.

偶然通りがかって入ったお店ですが、大満足のランチでした。
ダマンサラシティモールにある南イタリア料理のビストロ&レストラン。
おしゃれな雰囲気と本格的なメニュー。最初に出てきたフォッカッチャと3種のソースのおいしさに、まず心を掴まれました。
レモンペストソースを絡めたタコとじゃがいものサラダを一口いただくと、イタリアにいるかのような錯覚になるほどイタリアの味。
ピザもティラミスもとてもおいしくて、旅行気分になれました。
テーブルを担当してくれたKamrul氏のホスピタリティもプロフェッショナルで本当に素晴らしく、素敵なレストランでした。
テラス席もあるようなので、夜も雰囲気良さそうです。また伺います。

First time in a month, a beautiful lounge in the Four Seasons Hotel. I love it, it's more dignified than most lounges and more casual with fine dining-like food. The decorations are also in the Hari Raya mood. Afternoon tea also seems to have a new chocolate theme.
We visited again for a late lunch.
The blue shrimp carpaccio is served on rice crackers, which are beautiful to look at and the toppings are an excellent combination.
The brioche sandwich with oyster fritters, the clubhouse sandwich with ciabatta, again all very tasty.

1ヶ月ぶり、フォーシーズンズホテル内の美しいラウンジ。一般的なラウンジより凛としていて、ファインダイニングのようなお料理があるのにもっとカジュアルで、とても気に入っています。飾り付けもハリラヤの気分。アフタヌーンティーも新しいチョコレートテーマになったようです。
今回も遅いランチに伺いました。
ブルーシュリンプのカルパッチョは、ライスクラッカーにのせていただくのですが、見た目にも美しくてトッピングは抜群の組み合わせ。
牡蠣のフリッターのブリオッシュサンド、チャバタのクラブハウスサンド、今回もすべてとても美味しかったです。

Beautiful Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel.
Afternoon tea is so popular that all seats are filled with reservations on weekends.
During Ramadan, the lounge is open from 2pm to 10pm.
We visited for a late lunch.
The menu is creative and attractive. We ordered two kinds of sandwiches. The beef tenderloin cutlet sandwich with black truffle is juicy and tender to the point of overflowing with juices, while the lobster, caramelized onion and cheese sandwich is an interesting combination of tender sweetness served with tomato soup.
The delicate and beautiful sandwiches are like a part of a fine dining course. It was delicious and I wanted to try different items on the menu.
A very nice place with a relaxing atmosphere.

フォーシーズンズホテル内の美しいラウンジ。アフタヌーンティーが人気で、週末は予約で全席埋まってしまうほどです。
ラマダン中は、14時から22時までの営業時間。
遅いランチをしに伺いました。
クリエイティブで魅力的なメニューがたくさん。サンドウィッチを2種オーダーしました。牛ヒレカツのサンドウィッチブラックトリュフ添えは、肉汁が溢れるほどにジューシーで柔らかく、ロブスターとキャラメルオニオンとチーズのサンドウィッチは、トマトスープが添えられて、優しい甘みを感じる面白い組み合わせ。
繊細で美しいサンドイッチは、ファインダイニングのコースの一品のよう。おいしくて、いろいろなメニューを試してみたくなりました。
落ち着ける良い雰囲気でとても素敵な場所です。

UR-MU ( Urban Museum) Kuala Lumpur @ Bukit Bintang, KL
Right at the intersection of Bukit Bintang. I visited a beautiful 5-story museum in a residential area in the middle of a big city.
UR-MU is a contemporary art museum that opened in 2022 and houses the collection of a private architect and art lover.
I was looking for the museum on Google Maps and was intrigued by the museum.
Admission is by appointment only. The number of visitors is limited, so it is not too crowded and you can enjoy the museum at your leisure. Purchased tickets online before leaving home.
From the first to the fifth floor, art is displayed according to 10 different themes. All of the works are contemporary art, so there are a lot of friendly, interesting, and inspiring works. There were about 100 pieces on display, mostly by artists from Malaysia and surrounding areas.
Finish off with the beautiful rooftop sculpture garden.
Spent about an hour there. Great place to visit.

ブキビンタンの交差点すぐそば。大都会の中、住宅街にある5階建ての美しい美術館を訪れました。
UR-MU は2022年にオープンした、建築家で芸術愛好家である民間の方のコレクションを収蔵した、現代アート美術館です。
Googleマップで美術館を探していて、興味を惹かれて伺いました。
入場は予約制。人数を制限しているので混みすぎないでゆっくり鑑賞できます。家を出る前にオンラインでチケットを購入。
1階から5階まで、10つのテーマに沿ってアートが展示されています。すべて現代アートなので、親しみやすく、面白い心動かされる作品がたくさんありました。マレーシアと周辺地域のアーティストの作品を中心に、100点ほどが展示されていました。
最後には、美しい屋上彫刻庭園で締めくくります。
1時間ほどの滞在時間。素晴らしい場所です。
