It’s been 10 months since the Sheraton Johor Bahru opened. The adjacent shopping mall is already home to many tenants, and I hear the hotel is often fully booked on weekends.
I stayed in a Premier Club Room for two nights. The room was spacious, with a bright, simple, and warm interior. The bathroom was also spacious and comfortable to use. The selection of flavored teas was wonderful. It was very relaxing room.
True to the concept of “Cross-Culture”—where people gather and connect—the lobby is bright and very spacious, with several sofas. You can see the lounge, restaurant, and café all from the lobby, and staff are always present, attentive to guests and offering a warm welcome.
Club Lounge is quiet and cozy. During cocktail hour, it’s a real treat to enjoy five types of cocktails and two types of mocktails expertly crafted by the bartender.
The pool area is an oasis in the heart of the city! With a fun kids' pool, a cabana area, and a pool bar, you can relax and enjoy your time here.

プレミアクラブルームに2泊しました。
部屋は広々とし、明るくシンプルで温かみがある内装。バスルームも広く使いやすい。フレーバーティーのセレクションが素敵。とてもリラックスできます。
クロスカルチャー、人々が集い、つながるというコンセプト通り、ロビーも明るくてとても広く、ソファーがいくつもあります。ラウンジやレストラン、カフェがロビーから一望でき、スタッフが常にいて、お客に気を配り、温かく迎えてくれます。
クラブラウンジは静かで大人な雰囲気。カクテルタイムには、バーテンダーが作ってくれる5種のカクテルと2種のモクテルが本格的で嬉しい。
プールエリアは都会の中のオアシス！楽しいキッズプールも、カバナエリアも、プールバーもありゆったりと時間を過ごせます。

This dinner buffet at the Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South Hotel runs through September. From Wednesday through Sunday evenings, the buffet features a wide variety of seafood dishes alongside international cuisine. The “Seafood on Ice” display features jumbo shrimp and slipper lobsters. There’s an abundance of fish, shrimp, and shellfish prepared in various ways, including salt-baked, grilled, in curry, and with pasta.
All four varieties of international soups also feature seafood.
My personal favorite was the chef’s signature crab noodles. The balance of spice and salt is perfect—it’s a dish I highly recommend you try.

The buffet at the Courtyard Kuala Lumpur South, running through the end of June, has an Asian theme. It features dishes from Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.
The appetizers include chapchae, Soba noodle salad, and papaya salad, while desserts feature hotteok, dorayaki, dango, a mango and sticky rice dessert, and kueh—an assortment rarely seen at other hotels.
Of course, the main dishes include sumptuous grilled items and teppanyaki. The promotion offering two free children per two adults is also a great deal.

I attended the ceremony. I asked if sauces and toppings were included in the count, but they said they weren't. What an incredible number of dishes! The menu card lists the exact number, so there's no mistake!
The passion and craftsmanship poured into each plate. The smiles they bring to people's faces. From Malay cuisine to Western dishes, Chinese, Italian, Indian, seafood, and sushi – there's something for everyone.
It's always bustling with people.

そのセレモニーに出席しました。ソースやトッピングも数に含まれてるんじゃないかと聞いてみましたが、それらは含まれていないとのこと。すごい料理の数！メニューカードに品数が記載されているので間違いありません！
お皿ひとつひとつに込められた情熱と職人技。それらによって笑顔になる人々。マレー料理から西洋料理、中華にイタリアンにインド料理、シーフードにお寿司と、よりどりみどり。
いつも多くの人で賑わっています。

Ramadan 2026 began on February 19th.
And the Ramadan Bazaar has also started. Basic operating hours are from around 3 PM to 8 PM.
The Dato Karamat Ramadan Bazaar I visited today is about a 15-minute drive from Suria KLCC, or a 10-minute walk from the Jelatek MRT station.
The food sold here seemed to be a relatively standard lineup. Lots of items around RM5!

2026年のラマダンが2月19日からスタートしました。
そして、ラマダンバザールもはじまっています。基本的な営業時間は午後3時から8時くらいまで。
今日私が行ったDato Karamat のラマダンバザールは、Suria KLCC から車で15分くらい、電車のJelatek駅から徒歩10分ほどの場所。
ここで売っている食べ物は、比較的スタンダードなラインナップだと思いました。RM5くらいのものがたくさん！
